Darren is an absolute credit to society, I have absolutely loved the first aid training course that my work have provided. His passion for life and first aid is mesmerising a time I will never forget

My husband and I both work for the NHS, however we attended a 2 day first aid course run by A1 Training Solutions as part of out mandatory training as foster carers. Darren aka Flash ran the 2 days and we can say without hesitation it was the BEST first aid course we have attended. A lot of thought and preparation had been put into the audience Darren was teaching and it was so relevant to the situations we can could find ourselves in with look after Children. He was so engaging not once did we loose focus, not one did we look at the clock. He made it real, he made it fun and we came away having learnt sooooo much. Thank you Flash

Just finished a 3 day first aid course with Darren aka Flash.
It has been the most intense but very informative and enjoyable course I have ever been on.
I would highly recommend Darren to anyone. His knowledge and passion towards first aid is second to none and after the course I feel even more prepared to assist anyone who is in difficulty requiring first aid.

A big big thanks for my best two instructors uncle Pete and Dave for teaching me everything that I need to pass my class 2 and class 1 test. Also, a big thanks to Tim and all A1 staff they were very helpful and very friendly I will definitely recommend A1 training. With you it was very very easy

Just finished my first ever Level 3 first aid qualification and Flash was the most incredible trainer. Everything was made so simple with his acronyms for each individual incident you may be presented with and was always very informative with his depths of knowledge on each topic. Flash also was determined to make sure everyone was 100% confident with each element of the course - I really struggled with bandages but he gave me the extra time to get my head around it and even showed me 1:1 so I would understand better. Flash was also extremely sensitive to the group when covering CPR as some of us had very recent experience of dealing with a CPR incident. His words surrounding the incident and praise for how we handled it was always highly appreciated.

Just finished a 3day first aid course with the fabulous flash he made the course fly by he’s very knowledgable and funny would recommend the course to anyone who wants to learn a very important subject I just wish I had done it years ago thank you flash

Flash had a wealth of knowledge and was able to communicate it all through flow charts, real life examples, and a good helping of jokes. The 3 day training course has fully prepared me to be a first aider and made me excited to come back each day to learn more! Could not recommend more

Flash has a great style of delivering the course with lots of opportunities to ask questions and talk about real life experiences, which made for a really informative and enjoyable course that was both personal and professional

I have taken away some vital lifesaving skills thanks to Flash and his vast knowledge

His knowledge enthusiasm and dedication is just brilliant. I would have gladly stayed another few days just to hear about his stories and life lessons and experiences. Would highly recommend, such a personal touch. A+++

Just finished a 3 day first aid course with Flash. All I can honestly say is WOW. Flash is full of knowledge and really knows how to keep an audience.

I didn’t feel for one second like I was in a training room, with the exception of realising that everything that was taught actually went in and is now ingrained. I didn’t think I’d feel this confident in my ability to deliver first aid, behind every great student is an even greater teacher.

It really helps when a trainer goes above and beyond to build a relationship with the trainee(s) as, for me, it ensures I don’t have any fears of asking questions or getting stuck into the practical side of things.

Fantastic training by Flash yesterday. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Flash has first hand experience and this is definitely reflected within his training. He engaged us all throughout and made the training fun yet exclaimed the importance. Flash made the training personalised to the service users needs however, first aid training is very important and useful in everyday life and Flash gave us examples. Thank you so much!

The depth of knowledge and experience which Darren has acquired during his career to date surpasses any other trainer I have met. The way he delivers the information to the learners is excellent which made the course very interesting. Along with the opportunity to practise the skills being taught, Darren gave individual feedback to the learners if needed. I would highly recommend A1 Training Solutions.

Straight to the point and extremely knowledgeable. Everything that Flash explains to you is backed up with real life stories and that just seems to make things sink in to your memory that little bit more.
In what can be a difficult subject to take in in a day, he manages to ballance the fun with the teaching.
I've had the pleasure of 3 classes over the years with him and honestly the best way to be taught instead of being talked at for a whole day! Thanks.
