Was so excited about the swimsuit and bikini that I ordered. However, the quality was the worst I’ve ever experienced in a swimsuit: No stretch in the fabric whatsoever, and with minimal use (once or twice) the bikini bottom lost its initial shape and looked like a really old bottom where the elastic has gone loose and ‘wavy’. Super disappointed as I was really looking forward to these.

Absolutely shocking service. I bought 2 costumes to try out the sizes and contacted them to send one back. As others have commented, they just send a standard 'we'll be in touch' type response and then you hear nothing. Have emailed them 3 times. My advice is stay away. Complete con merchants!!

Never got the product or money back! Fraud! Trying since 4 months now and they do not respond!

They do not answer when you need to make a return!!!👎🏼👎🏼

Awful quality. Had to send first one back and second one also unravelled. They said I could send second one back for a refund but had to cover postage, so pay postage twice for a faulty swimsuit! Insane. Total waste of money.

I ordered a swimsuit in two sizes to try from aava and when the suits arrived I wasn't expecting the adorable presentation of their packaging. The suits were carefully wrapped and placed in a small woven bag. Not only that, but the outside mailing envelope was colored in a beautiful bluish hue,... very special and sophisticated. Anyway, I loved the suit! Kept the one that fit and sent the other back. Returns process was simple. I actually ended up ordering another suit in a different color and am currently awaiting it's arrival!

I have ordered three different types if Aava Swim Suits. They have all fit and look awesome on me. I have gotten so many compliments every time I wear them. I love their mission.. on being a part of a solution to help our Earth, and I am happy to be a part of it as well by buying their creations.....Great Job Aava!

I ordered a swimsuit that was too small. I had no issues with the return/exchange and absolutely love the suit. The customer support team kept in touch with me the entire process, so this was definitely not a send it back and hope for the best kind of transaction.
I love the suit! It is truly quality and as a result of the customer support, I will definitely want to buy another product from them in the future.

Definitely avoid! Spent just short of 200 quid on a swimsuit and bikini and they never arrived. I reached out many times via email and messaged on Instagram but never got a response. I really wouldn’t trust them, quite suspicious of the below review claiming they got a replacement from them because that certainly wasn’t my experience

I bought a swimsuit and the size didn't fit. So when I go ahead to exchange it, they charge me shipping and $20 "discount" (I did not get a discount when I bought the swim suit). So on a 95 dollar swim suit they took $30 when I came to return it online. Who does that anymore???

I ordered a swimsuit in two sizes as I wasn't sure about the size. I got an amazing swimsuit and could easily return the wrong size without any problems. The swimsuit is really beautiful and good quality.

My first order was lost in the post and the team responded very promptly with the offer of sending a new swimsuit free of charge. It arrived very quickly and I love the quality and style! Knowing it is made from recycled plastic makes me love them even more. I’ve even bought the same style again but in a different colour!!

I’ve purchased a black one piece by Aava Swim at ASOS marketplace, sold and delivered by the brand. I bought it september 15th and I have no updates about it. It just says: paid. I would like to know when they intend to make the delivery. I’m trying to talk to them by the marketplace chat, by Instagram and I had no feedbacks at all. The delivery was to supposed to be 4 days.

Purchased the Imogen swimsuit, which is beautiful and I love the fact the products are made with recycled ocean plastic. However, Aava have a TERRIBLE customer service team and the returns process is borderline illegal. You have to request a return via email AND then arrange return overseas (at your own cost) within 14 days. You also have to email the team to get access to the returns portal to log your request. This would be achievable if the customer service responded to emails promptly and quickly, however I never received a response to my email giving me details to the returns portal. I even chased a response via FB Messenger and they took ages to respond, and said the email has been sent (it hasn’t). I chased again and conveniently, I haven’t heard anything. I am now outside of the 14 days and stuck with a swim suit that was not cheap, but isn’t the right size. I am disappointed to say the least. As an online buyer, I am within my rights to return products to Aava for a refund and they make this so difficult purposely. Sort it out Aava - your service is breaching consumer rights and it’s embarrassing. Wouldn’t buy from there despite the beautiful swimwear..

One of the swimsuits was out of stock for a few weeks. I ordered another swimsuit, but as I did, the out-of-stock-swimsuit was back again. So, I got two really beautiful swimsuits, but I had to return one of them. This process was really smooth and I was helped very gentle by one of the employees. Besides, the quality of the swimsuit is very good and I really like the fact that they are from different styles! So, keep going Aava!

I fell in love with the Imogen style and felt good about the sustainable fabric. I took a chance and was thrilled when the suit arrived. The fabric is a great weight, feels durable and resilient. I am in my 50s and petite. The suit pulls me in at all the right places and gives me enough coverage to be both beautiful and feel sexy. Every time I wear the suit, I get compliments! I ordered in the Spring and was thrilled when the suit arrived in minimal, sustainable packaging. Next, I have my eye on the Aria in hot pink. I love supporting small new businesses with great design and great values. Nice job Aava!

I loved my experience. I bought one one-piece and one two-pieces.

They were beautiful. I did have to return one time and the process was great. I even used the chance to buy the Selena 2 tone pink. Can’t wait to arrive here.

Love the idea of using recycled ocean plastic and the bag having a second seal for returns.

I have suggestions that would make easier for some bodies. Being able to buy top and bottom of the bikini with different sizes would be fantastic.

Also, for women with large hips, if the cut were a bit higher it would make the swimsuit more comfortable.

I bought the Selena (one piece, two-tone pink) and I LOVE it. It's as per the images, the sizing was accurate and I cannot wait to flaunt it this summer. Shipping was pretty quick (I think 2/3 weeks, I am in Australia). I will buy again from this site!

Ordered online and swimsuit arrived within expected time frame to Australia and fits perfectly, looks exactly like the one advertised and I am very happy with my purchase. I hope it is durable and long lasting as I’ll be swimming daily in it!!

I had to wait a bit for my order to come in and be shipped because I ordered a brand new style that hadn't come in yet, but I really appreciated the customer support and constant communication letting me know about the wait and answering any questions I had. The result was receiving one of the most beautiful, high-quality suits I have ever purchased, and I am very happy with the order! So flattering too. Will definitely purchase from aava again.
