A fantastic experience from start to finish! We had a lot of help and guidance on what to order from Phil in the store, which had a fabulous selection to pick from. The order process was simple and delivered ahead of time. The delivery men Adam and Mike were excellent and delivered and set everything up with respect and care.
I cannot recommend Abitare enough!

We received a very helpful service in store it took a few visits to make our decision to make a purchase, no sales pressure which made a pleasurable shop.

The whole experience from visiting the store to the delivery of the beautiful new sofas was a pleasure. The showroom is lovely and the staff were exceptionally helpful. Nothing was a bother and they kept us informed throughout the order process. The delivery came with Adam & Mike who couldn't have been more helpful and even vacuumed up and set the sofas up in position. Thank you all.

Excellent service by Mary at Abitare who helped me resolve with a faulty recliner on our 10 year old Polo Davani sofa supplied by Abitare.

Mary helped me sort the issue and this avoided a costly repair bill.

We were greeted in the store by a friendly cheerful young lady Meghan , she left us in peace to browse letting us know that she was there if we needed her , which is just how we like it :-)
We found a colourful modern sofa just what we were looking for that was in stock , it was delivered by their inhouse helpful delivery team within days . Fantastic efficient service with a smile.

We have been going to Abitare for over 5 yrs for furniture for our home… they have a huge selection of pieces and for all rooms.. The staff are very helpful !!!

Update from previous review which resulted in court.

The original response to my review from Phillip was very positive. He promised to repair the sofa at their cost and in June of 2023, a sofa technician replaced the cushions in both seats. The technician was amazed to see how bad the interior had been fitted originally and that it was no wonder the seats had failed.
This original fault was reported to Abitare back in September of 2021 when the sofa was in warranty and I asked for someone to come and look at it. Mary at Abitare rejected my request saying that, as the sofa was a sale item it didn’t have a warranty. As Phillip’s response shows, this was incorrect and there was a 12 month warranty.

As I won the court case I was awarded the original cost as advised by Mary of £62.50 + vat per seat ~£125. + vat in total. Plus court fees of £169.00.

Since the repair has been completed I have asked Abitare to reimburse my court fees, which they are refusing to do, saying that the repairs cost much more to carry out and they are asking me to pay the difference. This is no fault of mine and Abitare had the choice of paying the £125.00 + vat but chose to do the repairs, which in my option was the professional option to take.
I still have the faulty cushions and have advised Abitare to contact Natuzzi too as these are obviously defected.

The court fees are a cost that I incurred having to take litigation and I have sought advice on this and the fees are a completely different item to the original complaint and should be paid.

I am once again having to go down a legal route to recoup fees for a dispute that should never have gone to court in the first place.

As I told you when I visited you in store, I prefer to e mail so that all the conversations are there. On this occasion I felt it was important to speak to you face to face and because of this I had the foresight to record our conversation, which will prove a lot of your response to be incorrect.

This has dragged on for too long and is very unprofessional. As I said in my last e mail, I regret the day I stepped foot in your store.

We have bought a great number of furniture items from Arbitare (Wigan) and have always been 100% satisfied. However one of our more recent purchases of Dining table and four chairs resulted in the breakdown of the ‘eco-leather’ on the seats. We contacted Mary at Arbitare with photographic evidence of the problem, and after a few short weeks we took delivery of four brand new chairs (the original four believed to be from a ‘bad batch). Thanks to Mary and Victoria at Arbitare for an excellent service, and fingers crossed the new chairs will last many years

Abitare have some quality furniture. I have used them previously.

We purchased a new TV unit and hi board. When it was delivered I noticed a small mark. We were unable to obtain a replacement as this was the last unit the company had.

I didn't want to return it as we really liked the furniture.

Mary went out of her way to resolve this to our satisfaction. The item was repaired and we love it.

I have been shopping at Abitare for 15 years now as has my family and friends which in itself shows how satisfied we are with the customer service, prices and the furniture. I have purchased sofas, armchairs, beds, sideboards and fitted tv furniture which have been to the highest quality and the most competitive with regards to price. I have visited other furniture stores but you never get the personal touch as you do at Abitare and they are always the best at prices too. I always recommend Abitare to anyone who asks about buying furniture and I will continue shopping there for future purchases too. A special thanks to Phil who puts up with my attention to detail and fussiness!
