Ableworld - St Helens レビュー 

Whilst on holiday in June one of the brake levers on my wife's 4 wheel walker became detached and I could not fix it. On return from holiday we took the walker back to the Ableworld store in St Helens where we bought it.
As the warranty had only just expired by a few days by the time we returned from holiday we were advised that we would have to pay for a repair if the part was available. The model we had bought had been withdrawn. I suggested the walker should be replaced as not fit for purpose but to no avail. As the Manager was not in the store at the time on a Friday afternoon we were promised she would phone back on Monday morning.
By 11.30 on the Monday I had not received a call back so phoned the store and spoke with the Manager who said she was herself awaiting a call regarding availability of a part. She said she would phone back. That was 7 days ago and no phone call has been received.
I think this is a case of stalling until the client gets fed up and goes elsewhere.

We had a riser recliner chair delivered,and the gentlemen that delivered it, Bill and Paul and put it together for us were so helpful and polite they went above and beyond to make sure eveything was right.I asked if they could help with finding the right ramp for us and without hesitation they went back to the shop and returned with the ramps with no obligation to buy, we were very happy with the equipment and so paid over the phone for it.These two lovely gentelmen sorted everything all in all for us in around one hour .Very Happy with this excellent service

POOR at best.Started out promising.Unfortunately went down hill very quickly!!
Staff seemed more interested in finishing for the day,rather than sorting out the problem,then misled when they were caught out.Very deceitful.
Luckily there were several other companies ,far more trustworthy that were able to help my mother and father.

We had a reconditioned stairlift fitted, we were pleasantly surprised at the cost. Callum did the estimate for the fitting and Lee did the brilliant job of fitting it ,both were brilliant. Me and my Wife are now able to go up our stairs without struggling. I would highly recommend this company.

after waiting six months for my wifes scooter to be repaired and hearing nothing from ableworld i wrote a review giving one star for bad service,suddenly my scooter has turned up at my local shop. an email from a director from the office on sherdley road tells me they have been trying to get in touch since last year. as my wife is disabled and mostly house bound i always have my mobile phone with me and check my emails everyday.they have obviously not been in touch and are trying to pass the blame on myself. i have just read all the one star reviews and there's a lot of them customer service is not one of their strong points I would never recommend anyone buying from them.they are just trying to cover up their incompetence by lying.you get the same response to every review to speak to ableworld support who are supposed to help you,didn’t help me much,and how they can justify charging £70 an hour labour charge is beyond me, my local garage doesn’t charge so much,do your homework before getting involved with ableworld.

Recently bought an A-Frame Walker from St Helens branch.
Received excellent service from a young female assistant, who showed us a variety of walkers.
Very happy using the A-Frame and feels sturdy and comfy to sit on. Like the fact that the brake cables are within the frame.
Only complaint is carrying it when folded. There's no fastening of any kind to hold it together and it tends to partially open up again. Also there is no comfortable hand hold to pick it up. Dropped 1 star for this. Otherwise very satisfied.

My mobility scooter was picked up for a service on the 10th of may and was informed that it would take 2 days on the 12th I received a call from the engineer informing me that it would need new batteries as they were only holding 50% charge he went on to say it’s really fast and was a great scooter at this time I informed him I didn’t have the funds at this time and requested it’s return. He informed me that he didn’t have a vehicle and wouldn’t be able to return it until Tuesday I agreed to this.
On Tuesday 16th I received a call that he needed to pick up my charger and that they didn’t have one that size? On Thursday 18th I called the shop talking to members of staff put me through to the workshop where I was informed he had the motor in bits on the bench I asked why he told me he was cleaning it?called again on Friday to be told that it’s now coming up with a engine fault and would need a new engine that’s going to cost £600, I had cleaned it and checked everything was working ok there wasn’t a fault when it was picked up. Finally returned on 23rd Tuesday in a unsafe and very dangerous condition as all the battery lug covers had not been replaced or on 100amp trip fuse
I was ask to sign for it but didn’t as they didn’t have any paperwork to say what’s was carried out on the service or my receipt

The service off this company was second to none, from walking into store on Monday 19/12/22 to an extremely fast delivery on Wednesday 21/12/22 the girls in store where so helpful & as for Bill & Terry who delivered our chair they where amazing, gave a full demonstration & explained everything to us

Terry and Bill delivered a wheelchair for my mum. Very friendly and helpful chaps and the wheelchair is light and well made.

Martin was helpful and had excellent product knowledge, to be served in such a way is a rarity these days. We bought 2 Wrenbury recliners which were delivered 6 days later by Terry and Bill who went through the operating process after assembling and positioning the chairs, they were so helpful and are a credit to the company.

My mum bought a riser recliner with a double motor which lasted less than 3 years! Instead of paying £200 for a new motor she decided to buy a new chair. This chair started to go wrong after 6 months and was still under warranty. The engineer came and took a video of the problem and said they would sort it out. Unfortunately after making multiple phone calls every week for months they have still not fixed or replaced the chair despite requesting an engineer since March. My mum has very limited mobility and this service is unacceptable. I would not recommend.

An amazing, caring and professional company.

All the staff were polite and very efficient and helpful.

Terry & Bill from Ableword delivered and set up a bed for my elderly mum. Wow! how lovely they are and worked so hard and explained how to operate the bed. All I can say is they are a credit to Ableworld! Thank you so much Terry & Bill and my little dog also liked them they were so friendly and lovely.

Purchased a £500 + reclining chair for my elderly infirm uncle 16 months ago. He is 10 stone wet through. He complained that it was making a clanking noise when reclining. On examination I found a snapped bolt under the chair. Contacted Ableworld asking for a replacement bolt. Was politely informed an engineer would have to come out. £60 call out plus parts. Politely declined. I will source a £2 bolt and fit it myself. Inferior quality product? Poor service? You tell me!
