Outstanding customer service from the Portrack Stockton team
When we first went to Ableworld at Portrack Stockton we were greeted almost straight away. We had some idea about the features we were looking for and, having spoken to Gemma about Mum's requirements, she was so knowledgeable and reassuring that we came away feeling even more confident in the mobility scooter we needed.
We arranged for Mum to do a test run of a mobility scooter and Gemma and Dean came out to Mum's home address as well as allowing us to test the scooter on a nearby hill.
I cannot commend Gemma, Dean and all of the Ableworld team at Stockton highly enough. There was never any hard sell, all questions were answered confidently and they went out of their way to fully explain how the mobility scooter worked, the 6 months insurance provided and the warranty.
We did commit to buying it based on the outstanding customer service we have received throughout and, in addition, if telephone lines are busy instore, I was redirected to Head Office and so there was always somebody to speak to.

An enjoyable purchase
Salesman very, very helpful and very knowledgeable about all his products. Very courteous and friendly and went above and beyond my expectations. I asked about a number of products and received all the information that I needed. I purchased a rollator and shall be returning to purchase a wet weather canopy for my mobility scooter.

I rang Ableworld due to damage on my…
I rang Ableworld due to damage on my mums stair lift that stopped working, they responded brilliantly changing appointments to fit in our repair. The engineer came same morning carrying replacement parts that were damaged in his van and had it running again in 1 hour what a great service very professional ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Amazing staff at Stockton-on-Tees.
As a close family member, I didn’t make the purchase myself, but after hearing first hand about my relatives experience with Ableworld in Stockton, I felt compelled to share just how positive it was.
I recently heard about a mobility scooter purchase and was genuinely surprised at just how happy they were with the whole experience.
From the moment they spoke with Luke and Mark, it was clear they were dealing with people who genuinely cared about finding the right scooter, rather than simply trying to make a sale.
It reminded them of the old days when a handshake meant something, and people actually took the time to do things properly instead of rushing you out the door. They took the time to listen properly, explained the different options clearly, and gave honest, straightforward advice without any pressure.
Their knowledge of the mobility scooters was excellent, and they made sure everything was fully understood before any decision was made, no jargon, no nonsense, just good old fashioned common sense, the kind you don’t see as often these days. The whole experience sounded relaxed, friendly and professional, just how business used to be done.
It’s refreshing to hear about this level of customer service in a world that often feels like it’s moving too fast for its own good, especially to an aging generation. Luke and Mark were described as extremely helpful, approachable and knowledgeable and it genuinely sounded like they still believe in doing things the right way.
I would have no hesitation what so ever in recommending them to anyone looking for a mobility scooter or needing advice about which one would best suit their needs especially for those who appreciate a bit of old school honesty, decency with some added, welcomed humour.
A genuinely positive experience from start to finish and my relative was very clear in saying thank you to Luke and Mark. I quote "youve made my day, week and year. I havent smile this much in a long time. Keep doing what you are doing gents"
They will definitely be returning in the future for what they call “consumables,” and, more importantly, I will be to see Luke and Mark again, even if nothing is bought, just to see their infections smiles.

Did not have what i really needed but did have the 2nd item and told me the main item was due in next week, been going to the Stockton on tees branch some years, i have had no trouble and the staff is very good.
Would rate them more than 5 if i could !

Excellent Customer Service
My walker had a broken seat that made it unsafe. Unsure if it could be fixed/replaced it, Lloyd preserved with it and manage to get the old one off and replace it with a spare they had in store. We have had previous help and never make us feel like a burden, always providing help where they can cheerfully. Very grateful it was able to be fixed while in store as I rely on my walker. Fantastic customer service as always.
