I worked as a freelancer on July 26
I worked as a freelancer on July 26, 2025. I had completed copy typing of 70 pages and submitted on time. They have created my bank account on Jac-Pay online, and asked me to pay $25 for international verification code for releasing my salary, which was nothing but fraud. They cheated me of my payment. Never go to this company for any work.

We do not recognise this claim and have no record of the assignment or payment arrangement described.
For clarity, Absolute Interpreting and Translations Ltd does not ask freelancers/translators to pay us any fee (including “verification” fees) in order to release payment. We also do not require translators to cover internal transfer costs. If a third-party platform (for example, PayPal or another payment provider) applies its own charges, that is outside our control.
This review appears to relate either to a scam/impostor using our name or to a matter not connected to our company.

Absolutely great
Absolutely a great reliable company to work for. You can set your own hours of work as it is flexible, either remotely or face to face. They provide online training sessions which is really helpful for the interpreters . Payments are on time as well

I'm a new hire for the company and also new to the sector. I'm content with the training and development I've had so far. The staff on the phone are always very helpful and get things done swiftly. There's a clear set of standards, which is highly appreciated; I'm sure the clients do, too.

A good company to work for to add your earnings
Very happy with the work so far. Getting regular telephone and video interpreting calls. Flexible as I can choose my own time. Unlike remote interpreting, I have to attend face to face appointments in different locations which can be a bit of an issue with transportation but the plus side is I get higher pay rate. Advice to management is that if they could agree travel costs with all of their clients. some clients pay and some don't.

I work with them for number of years and they have tendency to stop paying. Now we are back to this, I worked for them for free in the last 4 months. No no reply to email, no money, no communication.

Thank you for your feedback. However, we strongly refute your claim that you have worked for us without payment for the last four months. We are surprised by your statement that you have worked with us “for a number of years” yet were not paid, as it is not feasible for any professional to continue working unpaid for such a length of time. If you genuinely believe there is any outstanding payment owed to you, we encourage you to contact our Accounts Department directly with relevant job references, dates, and supporting documentation so that the matter can be reviewed formally.
We are committed to fair and timely payments and transparent communication with all of our linguists. Unfortunately, anonymous and unsubstantiated claims such as this do not reflect the experiences of the thousands of interpreters we support and pay each month.
We look forward to resolving any genuine concerns in a professional and appropriate manner.

The company pays £15/ hour. I kindly let them know that a cleaner earns more and as a babysitter you would get £15/ hour. I do not think they took it well.
