I have honestly had the best experience, so helpful from the get go!
Mike has been amazing, encouraging and supportive and he couldn't have found a better placement for me! It wasn't what I expected but it was what I needed, I learned so much, worked with the best students had had the best colleagues anyone could ask for.

As a supply teacher, Academics take my preferences into account and communication is regular and easy.

I would highly recommend using Acaemics. I decided a year ago that I wanted to be a Supply Teacher. They have kept me continously in work, sending me to schools that are in line with my CV, unlike others who sent me for jobs that were not appropriate (a KS2 teacher being sent to teach GCSE Psychology!!) I would recommend Academics to Supply Teachers and to school looking for them. As a previous Deputy Head, I understand what can happen when schools are not matched with suitable candidates.

Having worked for Academics in various placements as a TA, I have found the team excellent. Communication with them is brilliant, they get back to you very quickly with answers to any queries you may have. Throughout the pandemic I have felt very safe and looked after. Navigating their time time sheets is very easy and payment is very prompt. I can't recommend them enough, it's a pleasure to work for them.

The team at Berko Academics was always kind, caring, hard-working and thoughtful. They always respected my wishes in relation to working supply, whether in relation to the distance I drove or the year groups I preferred to teach. I always felt like they supported me and made the time to listen. They worked hard to find me a full-time job and then, as my needs changed, daily supply work. All my interactions with the members of the team were always pleasant and professional. On the rare occasion of mishaps at schools, I was listened to and helped to resolve any issues by multiple Academics' staff. I could reach them easily and never felt silly in questions I had. They are a nice bunch with a good sense of humour and outstanding support!
