Moje doświadczenie z ACE Rent A Car w Katowicach-Pyrzowicach jest **bardzo negatywne**. Ostrzegam każdego, kto rozważa wynajem samochodu w tej firmie.

Po zakończeniu wynajmu moja karta kredytowa została obciążona kwotą **3 216 zł** za rzekome uszkodzenie samochodu.

Na początku problem polegał już na tym, że nie otrzymałam kopii umowy najmu zawartej na terminalu ani kompletnej dokumentacji dotyczącej wydania samochodu. Nie otrzymałam dokumentów, które pozwalałyby mi w sposób przejrzysty zweryfikować stan samochodu w momencie jego odbioru.

Po wielokrotnych próbach reklamacji i domaganiu się wyjaśnienia zaczęto przedstawiać mi dokumentację mającą wykazać rzekome uszkodzenie. W moim przypadku chodzi o **przednią szybę**.

I tutaj pojawia się dla mnie najbardziej bulwersująca kwestia.

**Na zdjęciach wykonanych przy wydaniu samochodu szyba jest fotografowana z daleka. Nie ma możliwości dostrzeżenia na takim zdjęciu mikroskopijnego śladu na szybie.**

Natomiast później otrzymałam zdjęcia wykonane z bardzo bliska i w dużym przybliżeniu, na których wskazano jakiś **mikroskopijny ślad/uszkodzenie szyby**.

Jestem przekonana, że **nie spowodowałam tego uszkodzenia podczas wynajmu**. Nie sposób jednak zaakceptować sytuacji, w której przy odbiorze klient otrzymuje zdjęcia wykonane z takiej odległości, że drobnego śladu praktycznie nie można zweryfikować, a po zwrocie samochodu przedstawia mu się powiększone zdjęcie niewielkiego śladu jako podstawę do obciążenia karty kwotą **3 216 zł**.

Samochód został przeze mnie zwrócony zgodnie z procedurą wypożyczalni obowiązującą poza godzinami pracy. **Nie kwestionuję tej procedury – takie rozwiązania funkcjonują na lotniskach.** Problemem jest to, co nastąpiło później.

Problemem jest **obciążenie karty klienta, a następnie przedstawianie mu po fakcie dokumentacji i powiększonych zdjęć mających uzasadnić naliczenie opłaty**, mimo że wcześniej nie otrzymał kompletnej dokumentacji pozwalającej jednoznacznie zweryfikować stan pojazdu.

Po przeczytaniu opinii innych klientów widzę niestety, że **nie jestem odosobnionym przypadkiem**. Na Trustpilot znajdują się inne relacje dotyczące ACE Rent A Car w Polsce, w tym Katowic, opisujące bardzo podobny schemat: mikroskopijne uszkodzenia, zdjęcia wykonane z daleka przy odbiorze, późniejsze zdjęcia z bliska, obciążenia kart i problemy z uzyskaniem satysfakcjonującego wyjaśnienia.

Przed wynajmem radzę bardzo dokładnie dokumentować samochód własnymi zdjęciami i filmem, zwłaszcza szyby, felgi, zderzaki i wszystkie elementy nadwozia, oraz żądać kopii całej dokumentacji najmu.

Izzy was outgoing and very helpful. Even though it was closing time she took her time with us.

rent a a car, their insurance policy states that you have to have full coverage insurance, if not hen collision damage waiver is required. When i inquired, they stated that the full coverage insurance must specifically state it covers rental cars.
They kept telling me to cover insurance requirements, you have to purchase CDW at around 30.00 per day.
The desk at their location would not answer the phone. 407-588-0018.
Stay way away from this scam company.

JFK Airport rental:
1) Ace Rental claims to be a JFK rental, but they are not at JFK.
2) Once there, it took a long time to get the car.
3) The car was old, roughly 50k miles.
4) The car can't be driven into most states (not a national company).
5) They repeatedly asked if I wanted insurance, as they all do. The clerk was friendly and nice. I politely declined again and again as always. He charged $500+ for the insurance two days after I left with the car.
5) I called to have the charges removed, and they said, "Sure, as soon as we look at the video of you at the counter." They promised 2 days. After 3 days they said sorry, please wait. After 10 days, "Sorry, please wait."
6) They are smart, they make a lot of money with this scam unless they get put in jail. But who has the resources to enforce this?

I strongly advise against renting a car from this company at Warsaw Chopin Airport. My experience was extremely disappointing from start to finish.

Unjustified €1,000 damage charge: I was charged €1,000 for scratches that were completely invisible to the naked eye and, based on the condition of the car when I collected it, were very likely already present before my rental.

Evidence was ignored: There was a scratch on the windshield that was already there when I picked up the car, which is clearly visible in the video I recorded during the check-in process. Despite providing this video as evidence, the company completely dismissed it.

False accusation: To make matters worse, I was also accused of taking items from inside the vehicle — items that were not there when I collected the car. This is a very serious accusation and completely untrue.

Questionable evidence: The video later sent to me by the company supposedly showing the alleged damage is extremely difficult to take seriously. The scratches shown are barely, if at all, visible.

I would strongly recommend documenting every part of the vehicle with photos and videos before leaving the rental location. Based on my experience, I would personally never rent from this company again.

Zdecydowanie odradzam wynajem samochodu w tej firmie na lotnisku Chopina w Warszawie. Moje doświadczenie było skrajnie rozczarowujące od początku do końca.

Nieuzasadniona opłata w wysokości 1000 euro: Zostałem obciążony kwotą 1000 euro za rysy, które były całkowicie niewidoczne gołym okiem i, biorąc pod uwagę stan samochodu w momencie odbioru, z dużym prawdopodobieństwem znajdowały się na nim już wcześniej.

Zignorowane dowody: Na przedniej szybie znajdowała się rysa, która była tam już w momencie odbioru samochodu, co wyraźnie widać na nagraniu wykonanym przeze mnie podczas odbioru. Pomimo przedstawienia nagrania jako dowodu, firma całkowicie je zignorowała.

Fałszywe oskarżenie: Jakby tego było mało, zostałem również oskarżony o zabranie przedmiotów znajdujących się wewnątrz samochodu — przedmiotów, których nie było w pojeździe w momencie jego odbioru. Jest to bardzo poważne i całkowicie nieprawdziwe oskarżenie.

Wątpliwe dowody: Film przesłany mi później przez firmę, który miał przedstawiać rzekome uszkodzenia, jest bardzo trudny do uznania za przekonujący. Pokazane na nim rysy są praktycznie niewidoczne.

Zdecydowanie radzę dokładnie dokumentować zdjęciami i nagraniami każdy element samochodu przed opuszczeniem miejsca odbioru. Po tym doświadczeniu osobiście nigdy więcej nie skorzystam z usług tej firmy.

Sconsiglio nel modo più assoluto di noleggiare con questa compagnia all'aeroporto di Varsavia Chopin. La mia esperienza è stata a dir poco vergognosa e truffaldina dall'inizio alla fine.

Addebiti ingiustificati e truffa sui danni: Mi sono stati addebitati ben 1000 euro per dei graffi totalmente invisibili a occhio nudo, che con ogni probabilità erano già presenti sul veicolo prima del mio noleggio.

Prove ignorate: C'era un graffio sul vetro che era al 100% già presente quando ho ritirato l'auto, come dimostrato chiaramente dal mio video girato al momento del check-in. Nonostante abbia mostrato le prove video inequivocabili, la compagnia se ne è completamente fregata, dimostrando una totale mancanza di professionalità e malafede.

Accuse infamanti: Ciliegina sulla torta, sono stato persino accusato di furto di oggetti all'interno del veicolo, oggetti che non erano assolutamente presenti al momento del ritiro. È un'accusa gravissima e totalmente falsa.

Prove ridicole da parte dell'agenzia: Il video che mi è stato mandato successivamente dalla compagnia per segnalarmi questi presunti danni è a dir poco ridicolo: mostra graffi letteralmente invisibili e inventati di sana pianta.

State alla larga da questo autonoleggio se non volete vedervi sfilare soldi ingiustamente dalla carta di credito con scuse assurde e accuse inventate. Mai più!

Absolute terrible experience.

We arrived in Toronto with our family of 6 on time. The shuttle to pick us up was a 5 seater SUV even though when you call they ask how many people are in your group so we had to break in two groups to do two trips. We get inside ACE car rentals to be told the are putting us in a 5 seater SUV! We reserved a full sized 7 seater SUV for the 6 of us so clearly a 5 seater won't work. The worker sat there arguing with my husband saying my husband doesn't understand that they don't have 7 seaters available! We reserved a 7 seater well in advanced by the way. So they tried to get us to take two cars but only one of us drives and how does that make any sense to have double the tolls,parking and gas! Anyways the worker looked online and told us that enterprise has a 7 seater available. He did not call to confirm just got the shuttle (two SUVs ) to drop us off. We go in to enterprise with our 4 children all of our luggage to be told they do not have ANY vehicles available and now we are stranded in a city we are not familiar with and have no vehicle to get anywhere. This experience was absolutely terrible. We spent well over 2 hours after our 5 hour flight with 4 hungry kids looking for a vehicle to rent.

We still have not been reimbursed for the vehicle we never recieved on top of all of this through Trivago/Priceline.

Honestly if your in Toronto and need a car rental go to SIXT car rentals. The customer service agent named July saved our trip. He had amazing customer service and was extremely helpful.

Worst car rental experience ever – pure scam tactics.

At pickup we were connected via tablet to a pushy “sales” agent who tried hard to sell us extra insurance even though we already had full coverage booked. After a long argument he suddenly said “I found it” – clear attempt to force an unnecessary policy on us.

Next they pushed an overpriced $7/day toll tag, claiming it was mandatory. In California you barely need it (except a few optional FastLanes and SF bridges). Luckily we declined.

Worst part: The contract restricted the car to California + southern Nevada only (buried in the fine print) — unless we pay an extra $350. Our planned trip to Arizona and Utah was ruined.

Then the cars: We had to complain twice before we finally got an acceptable vehicle. First one had the tire-pressure light on, second was filthy inside with visible body damage. Only the third one was okay.

The only reason for the one star: return was smooth and the shuttle took us directly to the terminal.

In Europe a company this shady would most likely already be shut down for consumer-rights violations. Stay far away.

This company is the worst, DO NOT RENT FROM HERE! First off they forced us at the front desk when we were picking up the car to go online and leave a "positive review" in order to get the car (that should have tipped us off as to what we were in for)! After we turned the car in, what they didn't tell us was that they were going to hold a $200 "security deposit" on my card and that after 21 days I could call them and get it back (this was supposedly to cover and tolls that we may have incurred). Mind you, they dont tell you this, I had to disscover this on my own! The really criminal thing though is that it is up to me to call them 21 days after my rental was over otherwise they keep the money! To make matters worse, I called them 21 days later and they then told me it was 21 "business days" and weekend days don't count! This is absolutely absurd and should be illegal. Once again, it was up to me to call them back to request the refund because no longer was it a hold on my card, it was an actual charge! I wonder how much money they make from this scam because so many folks dont even realize that they charged their card for both the rental and the security deposit as separatecharges. I hope this review either puts them out of business or changes this practice because it is not right on any level!

Oszuści - trzymajcie sie z daleka. Oddałam about 3 dni temu nagle pobrali pieniądze z konta! Kiedy zadzwoniłam upierają się że są zniszczenia pod maską i zderzaka! z zewnątrz auto nagrałam i zgłoszę ich za wyłudzenie ale nie sądziłam że posuną sie tak nisko żeby wciskać mi zniszczenia pod maską.

Nelle was absolutely amazing! Kind and hospitable extremely helpful. Entire staff was kind, friendly and welcomed you with a smile. Facility clean and cool in this hot weather.

Absolut enttäuschende Erfahrung mit Ace Rent a Car in Neapel.

Mietwagen wurde trotz Angabe der Flugnummer und bestätigter Abholzeit als „No-Show“ gewertet, weil vor Ort einfach kein Mitarbeiter mehr da war – obwohl laut Öffnungszeiten noch geöffnet sein sollte. Telefonisch war niemand erreichbar, auch der Support konnte nicht helfen.

Musste kurzfristig teuer neu buchen und bin am Ende auf deutlich höheren Kosten sitzen geblieben. Auf meine Beschwerde wird seitdem nicht mehr reagiert.

Wirkt leider alles andere als kundenorientiert. Eher als No-Show-Strategie, damit die mehr verdienen.

They will rip you off to the penny!
Charge you for the smallest scratch then make pathetic excuses that this is how it is and then steal even more money from your bank account that they should not because they have your card details!
They charge me 30£/per day for insurance that didn’t include interior and now, I found companies which include interior for 18£/per day.
I didn’t have time to research at that moment but I hope this will put off at least one person!
They lure people with lower daily rental charges from what I noticed on multiple brokers websites but they will find the way to rip you off during your rental! AVOID AVOID AVOID AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE to save yourselves money!

I rented a car in Poznan, Poland,
They charged me 3400PZL (around 700£) for a tiny 0.5cm scratch on the dashboard 😳. From what I calculated it’s about 3-5% of the whole value of the brand new car, depending on the model! Before it leaves the car dealer shop!! After that, which is what has happened in my case, it’s about 5-8% of the value of the used car!
Absolute shambles company.
No top of it they added extra things to my damage report that were not mine and charged my credit card within minutes.
My card is in currency so after days of emails they refunded partially but adding extra cost for me because they are too stupid to understand the exchange rates. They should do that on their own cost as they are the ones who produced the report without consulting it first with the client!
But they don’t understand simple math!
Plus, no concrete reply to any questions I asked! They basically do whatever they want with your money 💴 once they get hold of your credit card!
Absolutely pathetic!
If this puts off and saves money at least for one person I will be happy!
It’s better to pay more for rental elsewhere than being ripped off by them as they will do whatever they want with your money without any consideration!

I highly recommend avoiding renting from this place. They tried to bill me for damages to the vehicle that were already there. Fortunately, I had filmed a thorough video of the car during pickup. Because of this video, I could show that the major scratches were already there, which helped speed up the dispute.

Once those major pre-existing damages were proven false, they still proceeded to charge me for microscopic, virtually invisible imperfections like tiny dots on the bodywork and windshield. For these minor cosmetic issues, they calculated ridiculous repair costs amounting to around 2x my full deposit.

I had third-party full coverage insurance which reimbursed the entire sum, so I was fully protected. However, my funds were frozen for weeks during the dispute process, causing unnecessary stress and ruining the experience.

I have rented cars all over the world, but this was pure scam behavior and predatory tactics.

If you still decide to rent from them:

Take a thorough, ultra-detailed video inspection at pickup. Examine every single inch as if under a microscope.

ALWAYS get full coverage insurance.

Pessima esperienza con Ace Rent Car all’aeroporto di Katowice.
Al momento del ritiro ho controllato con molta attenzione l’auto: carrozzeria e parabrezza erano integri e non ho riscontrato alcun danno evidente.
Al rientro, invece, mi sono stati contestati dei presunti graffi talmente piccoli da essere praticamente invisibili a occhio nudo. Per notarli bisogna quasi usare una lente d’ingrandimento. Inoltre mi è stata contestata una presunta scheggiatura del parabrezza. Nelle fotografie che mi hanno inviato si vedono ancora chiaramente i moscerini rimasti sul vetro dopo il viaggio in autostrada, ma la presunta scheggiatura non è affatto evidente.
Ho avuto la sensazione che siano stati cercati difetti minimi per addebitarmi dei danni che ritengo del tutto discutibili. Un comportamento che mi ha lasciato molto deluso e che mi fa dubitare della correttezza della procedura di riconsegna.
Consiglio a chiunque noleggi con questa società di fotografare e filmare l’intera vettura, parabrezza compreso, sia al ritiro che alla riconsegna, per tutelarsi da eventuali contestazioni. In maniera molto approfondita perché anche i segni che non si vedono a occhio nudo loro riescono a trovarli tra l'altro inferiore ai 3 cm
Personalmente, dopo questa esperienza, non noleggerò più da Ace Rent Car e non mi sento di consigliarla.

I would give Ace car rental a negative 11 stars.
I flew into New York for a funeral and I took a shuttle over to Ace at 23rd & 94th St in New York. I booked a vehicle a Volkswagen for 11 days with Ace 3 weeks in advance.
I walked in after a 4 hour flight to pick up my vehicle and was told that they didn't have the vehicle I booked.
They tried to sell me on a vehicle that was NOT what I booked. I wanted a discount on the vehicle that he was trying to rent me because it was a cheaper car and smaller than what I needed. I had to have my insurance company send a document that I had collision on my insurance. (I have full coverage on my policy)
Once that happened he said it wasn't good enough to rent the vehicle and my insurance agent said that's what they send rental agency's.
I asked what else did he need and he gave my some bullshit answers.
I realized I was talking to some unpleasant unprofessional kid that didn't know what he was talking about.
I asked if I could talk to his boss but as always they say that the boss wasn't there.
Also they charged the full $733.00 to my card even before I rented the car. (who does that)?
I never took the car and they refused to give me my money back so I had to get my credit union to fight to get my money back.
I had to take a lyft ride to where I was staying for $100.00...SMFH
I WOULD NEVER RENT A PENCIL FROM THIS UNPROFESSIONAL ORGANIZATION EVER AGAIN.
