Thank you so much to Ryan and Pat who fitted our shutter in our bay window today. They were the ultimate professional's in every way from start to finish. I would not hesitate to recommend them if you want a high standard, clean and friendly service. Thank you too to Sue in the office who was a pleasure to deal with.

The service we received from Ryan and Pat is so professional, friendly and of highest standards. We opted for shutters for the full house, with 2 angled large windows. Ryan had measured the windows a few months ago and from then we felt at ease and thoroughly informed before making any final decisions. Today we got all our shutters installed and we are so pleased with the finished job and would highly recommend

Ryan and Pat from Acme Douglas fitted Shutter blinds onto the front 4 windows of our cottage. Super efficient service from the guys and spotlessly clean. Absolutely love the blinds and service, couldn't recommend them any higher.

We recently had Shutters fitted and Blinds by ACMEblinds Douglas Cork and we could not be happier. From day one the staff at their office in Douglas most helpful, polite, chatty, thank you Sue, Ciara and Sandra. Then on fitting day Ryan and Pat, two lovely guys, they did fantastic work. Ronan fitted the blinds, excellent they look lovely. I would highly recommend ACME. Thank You All.

Used them based in cork and found them rubbish. Initial consultation I instructed no blinds to be screwed into the pvc windows and all were screwed in to them and a story given about a metal plate in the frame behind the plaster preventing them from screwing in like I requested and was assured they would do. . I had no issues with metal when I tested my self and popped a screw in no trouble. Lead in time on orders was never correct always waiting. When our bathroom blinds arrived one was too short and one was the wrong color and a game of pass the blame started.. fitter blaming the man who measured them and him blaming the factory. This unfolded on a Saturday anfternoon and I was promised a call first thing Monday.. by Tuesday evening I had too ring the store directly who knew nothing about the mix up. I had used another blind company before but there work was sub par to say the least I found Acme blinds to be extremely helpful and professionally there customer service is amazing I highly recommend Ken and the team in tallaght.

TRUST ME. Do not buy with these guys. Anywhere else but Acme blinds. Do not waste your money. Trust me. I’m having to redo the blinds they installed
Firstly the blinds pull to one side when raised.
Secondly the quality is absolutely rubbish.

People: overall pretty good to deal with. Product: Roller blinds are fantastic, beautiful to look at, and well made. But Roman blinds - not good, despite sending the faulty materials back twice, we're unhappy with the result. Installer did the best he could, but the materials were badly assembled in the first (and second) place. We got fed up with the process in the end, and now making use of strategically placed flowers to disguise the faults pending sourcing from another supplier.

I have had a terrible experience with Acme blinds. We bought pleated blinds over 1 year ago, priced 2000 as it was for large window. In that time they have broke 7 times and one blind spent 6 months getting repaired. It was back up one month and has broken again. I have been chasing for a refund with no luck or even any call back from the company. Absolutely disgraceful and the blinds are currently lying broke on my floor

I recently replaced blinds in an exceptionally big window and acme were superb both with the advice from the fitter on site and then the follow up fitting communication with Graham. The accounts department also very efficient. Would highly recommend them to anyone.

We recently had venetian blinds fitted on all windows at the front of our house. We couldn't be happier with the service. From first consultation and advice, the fitter came within the time frame they gave. A week after fitting, a consultant came to quality check and he picked up on a couple of small flaws with pelmets that we hadn't noticed. They were back within a week to correct those flaws. Excellent, friendly, high quality service. We would definitely recommend.

2nd July 2023: I had venetian blinds installed by ACME in November 2021. I was promised 2 free blinds; I still await those. There were issues with the installation that the ACME agent said he would have fixed. These are still not fixed. There were also issues with the installation that the ACME agent denied were installation related. We failed to agree on those. I sent emails and a registered letter to ACME head office in Cork. They never responded. However, after they received the registered letter, the Head of Retail Operations and Marketing in ACME head office was copied in on correspondence with the agent. Today, 2nd July 2023, I went to raise one of the blinds and it fell down on top of me. I was lucky not to sustain a head injury. Not only does this company make promises it does not keep it does shoddy DANGEROUS installation work.

I dealt with Barbara and John Paul from Acme Blinds Leitrim and could not be happier with the blinds and the whole experience. We got two different types (blackout and venetian) and both are stunning, a perfect fit and great quality - much nicer than anything you would get from a site like blinds2go. We got great advice along the way re. different options and advantages/disadvantages, blinds were professionally fitted and communication was swift. I can wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone looking to get beautiful new blinds.

This company is so unreliable to deal with. They make appointments to fit blinds that are fully paid for and don’t show up. When you ph office they can’t get their staff to ans the ph to them to find out if they are going to keep their appointments. Don’t touch ACME blinds if you want a reliable company to fit your blinds. Vera

Shocking customer service and slow work.
I have been waiting 4 weeks now for my blinds that are meant to take 2 weeks. They said they would be here today but no time given so took the day off work. They sent me a text message to let me know that they got the days wrong and actually won’t be around till tomorrow. Now I will need to take the day off tomorrow to wait around all day again.

I recently got blinds fitted in my home, by ACME blinds Cork.
I'm very happy with my blinds.
They are strong and look really good.
I visited the Douglas store first, to look at different options available.
About 10 days later, a guy called to my home to measure my windows and patio door.
He also had a large book, with different designs and colours to choose from.
I picked a style and colour while he was in my home, and I then had to pay a deposit, to this man (approximately 50% of the total cost)
About 2 weeks later, I got a phone call from a lady in the ACME blinds office, to say installation man would be with me in a couple of days, and I paid the remaining balance, over the phone during this call.
A few days later my blinds where installed by a really nice man.
I'm sorry I can't remember his 1st name.

I first wrote to Acme Blinds head office on 1/3/22 about blinds I had bought in December 2021 that were badly measured and, consequently, badly fitting. It took a year, a claim through the Small Claims Court and a visit to head office by the sheriff for me to have my money refunded. I have had no apology or any acknowledgement from Acme Blinds since. This is no way to run a business!

Absolutely terrible to deal with in the Galway branch. They make their own hours. Arrived on a Saturday and they were closed (in contravention with their listed operating hours). Returned on Monday at 11am where they turned me away in the rain with a small baby because “they don’t open til 1pm” (again in contravention with their listed operating hours of 9:30-5:30). Not only that, when I said I just needed a quote I was told they were “busy” and to just email - pretty difficult when you need to see a fabric to know what you want. Appalling! Avoid avoid avoid.

I would not recommend this company. My blinds are uneven, too narrow on one side and badly cut at the bottom, very disappointing after paying €448 upfront for two windows, one a small round window!! For blackout blinds they let in a lot of light. I rang the guy who did the fitting, he said he would call out to have a look, never turned up. After sales service is non-existent!
