We were very pleased with the installation of the stairlift. It was done promptly and completed in half a day.
The chair is easy to use and seems to cover all eventualities.
One of the remote controls does not work as well as the other for some reason.
It is a nuisance that the chair almost comes to a stop each time it approaches and leaves a corner, making it a very slow journey.
It has proved very useful on the whole and we very pleased to have it.

Excellent all round.
Initial contact clear and helpful. Site appraisal efficient, with good advice.
Installation within a week, very friendly and professional.
More than satisfied with the investment.

We have been very pleased with the swift service from start to finish. The assessment and quote was conducted quickly and on acceptance of the quote, the stairlift was installed within a very acceptable timeframe. My father wasn't happy with the design of the stairlift after it was installed and Acorn, to their absolute credit, worked with us to make the required changes and make an old man very happy.

I was impressed by Acorn’s quick response to my inquiry. With the restriction placed by Covid, the assessment was done remotely from Auckland. The engineer was very helpful when he rang with his recommendations and answered all my questions. The girl who responded initially was once again helpful and knowledgeable. Most impressed that the time between first inquiry to installation was only about two weeks. The installer travelled from Palmerston North to Nelson for the installation. He was efficient, friendly and I am very happy with my lift.

The stair-lift works perfectly, quiet, with no sudden starts or stops. It is comfortable and useful for transporting more than people - like a box of groceries.
The staff were accomodating and the installer couldn't have been more kind and polite. Overall it was an excellent service and I would highly recommend Acorn to anymone.

The whole process from initial enquiry to installation was seemless. Acorn remained in constant contact despite some technical issues with their website. Well done

The sales and administration team were very easy to deal with and the installation went well and there have been no issues.

Our stair chair has been an absolute hit with those of our friends who find it difficult getting up our stairs.
We had a ribbon cutting ceremony and the first official ride a couple of weeks ago.
Eric was wonderful and fitted the chair with the ease of one who has done it many times before…he was a pleasure to have in our house.
