After 30 years running my own business, I took a job as a General Manager at Action Coach, essentially running a territory as an employee.

Living and seeing the support, friendships and camaraderie within the Action Coach community I've just taken the decision to buy my franchise area with everything I had ( and didn't have) knowing full well that the system not only works for clients but for coaches too.

I have been involved as a franchisee of ActionCOACH UK for the last seven years. During that time I have had some personal and business ups and downs, but the support I have received from the UK Head Office Team, Master Franchisors and every other UK Coach has been exceptional.
Like anything in life, nothing worthwhile is ever easy, and you have to be prepared to get outside of your comfort zone and be open to learning and changing.
I have not come across any other business that gives its franchisees the high level of support as they do at AC UK.
For anyone considering investing in a franchise, then do your due diligence, speak to as many coaches as you can in different areas and form your own opinion rather than taking my word, or anyone else's word.
One thing is for sure, as a successful coach, you can change peoples lives for the better, while making money and having fun along the way.

I am in my 10th year as a franchise partner with ActionCOACH and I can honestly say that it has delivered way beyond my expectations in terms of both income, enjoyment, fulfilment and development. I truly believe that there is not another franchise opportunity that offers more support and challenge to its partners. If you can’t make your ActionCOACH business work with the World Class system provided, it’s definitely on you, not ActionCOACH.

I have been an Action Coach franchise partner for 18 years and all i can say is that it is a life changing business if you are the right kind of ambitious person. Yes, it can be hard in the early days but once you apply yourself, take action and are willing to put the effort in, you will not only transform your life but the lives of hundreds of business owners in your community! What other career can deliver that? If you are considering a business coaching franchise then this is the only choice!! The support and IP are second to none!

Having been around this business for the past 15 years it's remarkable how much it has evolved. The level of support given to franchisees is now so significant that you could be forgiven for wondering 'when will I get a chance to prospect for clients?'. Obviously, nothings perfect, yet by the criteria I originally set, this is certainly close enough for me.

Like anything worthwhile, it required a large amount of effort on my part to get things moving, yet when it began to gather pace I never looked back. As a result, I get to work with amazing people, inside and outside of ActionCOACH, and I certainly count joining back in 2010 as one of the best decisions I ever made.

And finally, as I'd ask any client considering investing their time and money in to anything...'What additional research do you need to do?' as one review is unlikely to be enough - even if it's this glowingly good one.

I'm sure they can deliver for their clients. However, if you are looking to become a coach, don't be suckered in by their slick, smooth marketing. Its very convincing, but very few coaches are making any money. In fact, some have lost an awful lot.

I was cold called by coach Andrew de Groot. We set up a meeting and embarked on Coaching for my team and I. Meetings were all recorded and transcripts created by an AI tool. So far so, good.

Then came a life changing calamity on Andrew’s part - he sent the transcripts and videos to my co-Director, whom most of the conversations had been about. There was also a lot of highly sensitive personal information in the transcripts.

To cut a long story short, 3 full time staff resigned as a result of the data breach and I am left to pick up the pieces without an apology or a refund.

I attended my second Growth Club today in Warwick and found it to be truly inspirational. I have a clear vision of what to focus on in the next 90 days which has made things easier and more achievable. It's definitely worth the visit.

Excellent and continuous knowledge and support. I have used Rod at Mansfield Action Coach for around 9 months now and without his constant expertise I don't think we would have achieved what we have.

A big thing for me is being made to set targets and goals and being held accountable to them - really aids focus on your tasks as helps prioritise busy working days.

I would fully recommend getting an Action Coach.

Have just been called from this company by a guy calling himself Jo although we are TPS reg and have been for 23 years. He was over familiar and happily talked over the top of me. It is a criminal act to call TPS reg companies with sales calls. Asked may times for the company name which he was not able to clearly give me. Had to go the Companies House and then ask is his company THE BUSINESS COACHING FIRM LIMITED which he confirmed. Seemed to think it was acceptable to hold data on companies despite the Digital Data Protection Act and ignore TPS.

Draw your own conclusion from the above. But we do not deal with companies or individuals that break the law in the first instance of contact or consider the law does not apply to them. We recommend others do not condone these by dealing with such. Take consideration of the above and think to yourself are the other review to good to be true?

I had a fantastic coaching session with Alex from Action Coaching. The session was incredibly beneficial and provided me with a detailed understanding of the essential steps in building a successful business and how to implement them effectively. As a recently established business, this knowledge was invaluable in improving our planning and structuring processes. It helped us eliminate chaos and greatly enhanced our marketing efforts.

I really enjoyed the time I spent with Actioncoach Duncan McKechnie. We spent time working through my business and identifying the strengths and areas that could be strengthened! The thread that ran through this assessment was not surprising to me but did highlight that action need to be taken.

During the session, we were also able to explore my personal ambitions and how the business could and should align with these.

I am grateful to Duncan for holding this space and giving me an opportunity to take a helicopter view of my business.

I had really high hopes, but my experience with ActionCoach was really discouraging. The service fell far short of expectations, despite the claims made and the money-back guarantee given in our email discussion. Meetings were rescheduled on both sides several times during the process, and coaching sessions lacked focus and direction. Unfortunately, no effort was made to correct the mistake or provide a refund, and we did not receive any meetings for the last month that we paid. It is disappointing to witness such a lack of accountability and client happiness.

I attended one of Natalie’s 90 Day planning sessions and was so pleased I went along.
Already knowing the value of making this kind of plan, I was amazed at how much else I got out of the day.
Natalie included some simple exercises for us prior to the ‘big plan’ and with each one she encouraged us to dig that bit deeper. Working individually at our own pace, while also alongside others, the easy pace of the day made for a very productive one.
It was those seemingly simple comments and questions that Natalie posed throughout that made the difference and so much more valuable than just completing a similar activity on my own.

I have been working with Marc and action coach Orsett and Dagenham for the last 6 years. During this time we have categorise all our customers and got rid of the ones who wasn’t earning us money. Our company has gone from turning over £110K to £750K last year with work lined up this year to hit a £3M turn over along with increasing our profit margin.
