One of best when it comes to email masking and privacy.

I've been a paying subscriber of addy.io for 4 years moving from a different alias provider and have been really impressed with addy.io and how far it's come. It's excellent value for money and easy to use, you don't need to be an expert. Its stayed true to it original purpose is now perfecting it.

By far the most valuable thing for me is customer support, I ran into 1 problem in 4 years and had immediate email support from Will the developer, no bots, forms or redirections and he resolved straight away.

It's seriously cheap at something like £3 per month per person, and allows infinite aliases. Its sole problem is its lack of SMTP and IMAP support.

As it seems, hosting this yourself is possible, but not that easy. Given the fact that it becomes critical infrastructure, once you have your email aliases spread around, I choose to pay rather than to host it myself as I believe the people behind AnonAddy seem to work very professional.

The service itself is phenomenal. I'm slowly transitioning from IronVest, formerly known as Blur, as I think the solution should be open-source to be audited properly.

My only concern is the single point of failure, I really hope there will never be a data leak that exposes my secret mails. I'm done with spam for good.

4 Stars, because I think the price of 32$/yr is a bit high for the best tier. I'm on the Lite plan which is absolutely fair with 12$/yr and I think the limits are fine, except for the fact that I can have only 1 own domain. Most people want to have at least 2 domains (one for their home country TLD, one with .com TLD).

Other than that it's a brilliant service. I prefer it over SimpleLogin, because it offers a Lite subscription.
