Used this company on a high recommendation. We had a 6yr old Belgian Malinois who was very anxious. She wasn't a joy to walk, trying to get to people and dogs who came near. After 2 weeks we now have a totally different dog. Dan and team are totally professional and kept us informed of Elsa's progress. I would definitely recommend, plus you get support for the life of the dog. 5*

We had two dogs with similar but different needs, Murphy our 4.5 year old Collie and Diesel our 2.5 year old Collie. Together almost impossible to walk, Diesel would pull like a world strongest man pulling a bus and Murphy so protective and reactive of his brother (from another mother) that my wife and daughter dreaded any walks, and we all know Collies need walks!
We tried online books, separate walks and every trick or training trick known and still we had two very reactive dogs.
After a lot of research, ADK9 became our choice and how pleased we were, every step explained, phone calls and questioned answered we finally got to drop off day. Beth our trainer spent time explaining, reassuring and later updating us on our boys progress.
The feeling of guilt for leaving them totally out weighed by the benefits of getting less reactive dogs on the other side.
Collection was so emotional but phenomenal at the same time, both dogs had become the dogs we wanted to walk even more, Murphy less reactive and Diesel walking to heal! A miracle if you ask me!.
Since being at home we have enforced the foundations but our dogs still have the same characteristics and personality but with mutual respect on walks. They now both get longer walks (and more) we don’t fear confrontation or severe pulling. Life for us and the dogs have completely changed!
It’s not cheap but incredible value sending your dog to “boot camp “ but you can be assured if you continue the work when you get home it’s life changing! Thank you Beth x

We booked our dog chase in for boarding training on the recommendation from a friend. They were professional right from the start. The trainer Danny worked wonders with chase during the main training. And we have been back since for a refresher. The whole process was explained thoroughly and we felt at ease leaving chase in their care. Chase has benefited massively from from the training and we highly recommend there services

Our rescue dog Lucky has just finished his two week residential with adk9. He was suffering with a lack of confidence, and was always distracted when walking. After two weeks with Danny he is doing much much better. Walking is easier, and his heel work is fantastic in comparison. His confidence is much higher, and he is a lot more comfortable being taken into different environments. I’m amazing at how well he’s done in such a short time. Danny gave us regular updates during his stay to keep our mind at ease. We are going for a follow up session soon, which is included to share his continued progress and help alter our training at home. This really is the complete package, and the staff (especially Danny) at adk9 could not be nicer or more helpful. You can tell they really care about the dogs.

Ted has recently returned from a two week trading course with Danny at ADK9. We have seen great improvement in Teds behaviour. He now walks to heel and is much less reactive when he meets other dogs. This is thanks to the great work Danny put in with Ted. We are all now much more relaxed when out walking. Ted is a much calmer relaxed character now. We would highly recommend Danny at ADK9. We feel confident that Danny will assist us with anything that crops up with Ted going forward. Thank you from the three of us.

Millie is a different girl.
Our 15 month old nervous hyperactive Border Collie Millie, has just finished a two-week residential training stay at ADK9.Prior to this walking her was not an enjoyable experience. She was very reactive around other dogs and constantly pulling. She is still a very much work in progress and has her moments but generally walks are now a much calmer occassion with her walking to heel and meetings with other dogs are now mainly incident free. Danny has worked wonders with her and I am amazed what he achieved in such a short time.
I got regular updates from trainer Danny, and the whole experience from dropping her off to picking up was excellent and very professional. I am not sure Millie wanted to come home when we picked her up but she was obviously well looked after during her stay. I think Millie will be returning in 2025 for a refresher course and perhaps learn a few more commands.

Our vizsla, Jackson, has just finished a two-week residential training stay at ADK9. Before this, he struggled with high reactivity around other dogs, was anxious, and pretty much had no lead-walking skills.

Over the two weeks, I got regular updates from trainer Danny, who was great throughout. On pick-up day, he gave a thorough handover, explaining how to continue the training at home. Now Jackson walks beautifully on the lead, has learned new commands, and is so much more focused and calm around other dogs - genuinely can't believe the difference in the little fella.

Our Max had 2 weeks training for lead aggression and pulling on lead. I had no confidence as a woman to take him out being a big rottie he’s quite a handful.
Thanks to the team he is 99% improved.

Amazing training for me and moose. Moose would always bark whist on walks towards people and other dogs. NOW he’s like a new dog. Danny has now got me and moose confident to walk without any barking or reactive behaviour. 100% will be back for any training that moose may need in the future.

This company does exactly what is advertised on their website. Trainer, Danny, listened and worked out the unique requirements of me and my dog. I am able to move forward with confidence he has given me. Danny absolutely understands dogs and is not afraid to tackle anything presented to him. From arrival I trusted ADK9. Well worth the time and money spent with them.

Our whole experience with ADK9 has been superb! From the minute we made contact with Admin to collecting our Working Cocker Frank after his two weeks residential the service we have received has been fantastic. Danny listened to what we hoped to achieve, a polite, well mannered family pet and has delivered that to us. The handover was incredibly informative and helpful and Frank had been the perfect pet since he returned! Thank you ALL at ADK9

Tyson has stayed with ADK9 for two weeks residential training and we can’t believe the improvement. He was dog reactive after being attacked previously, pulled like a train on the lead and had little manners. He absolutely loved his trainer Danny and we couldn’t be more over the moon with the service from start to finish as well as Tyson’s training. Admin were brilliant upon booking and made it an easy process, and Danny was absolutely brilliant with tysie from the get go. We received regular updates and even got sent a picture and video! Upon collection Danny gave us a demonstration on what they have been working on, and then guided us on how to carry it through, and the improvement was like night and day! We can’t wait to see what he’s like at home and can’t wait to come back with Tyson again for more sessions. We can’t thank ADK9 enough and Danny especially. Super friendly and helpful and made us feel at ease. Absolutely life changing for us and Tyson, so thank you so much and see you soon!

From initially enquiring and questions answered to collection it has been an absolute pleasure to use ADK9 for our 2 year old working cocker. He spent 2 weeks with ADK9 completing the residential training program, tailored to needs we asked for. This is the first time we have used ADK9 or any sort of boarding for our dog and would certainly recommend them. Regular updates and videos were sent of progress. On collection we received a demonstration of things that had been worked on along with support and guidance. So happy with everything and wouldn’t look anywhere else in the future.

Hi Danny, great first day back with Bear - he was happy to be home, settled really quickly and not stressed at all. We’ve had 2 really positive walks today and a couple of sessions in the garden. He’s seen a couple of dogs he used to react really badly to and I’ve managed to completely distract him and walk past calmly - which has given me a massive confidence boost. He also met some dogs he likes and was really good. We’re really pleased with the progress made in the last 2 weeks from first impressions. Guinness stayed at ADK9 for two weeks intensive training to learn some manners. The transformation has been great and he can walk on lead without pulling, his recall has improved and we have strategies to stop him jumping on everyone he meets with excitement. Danny built a great bond with Guinness and he was very well looked after. We have already booked him in for two more stays. Thank you!

We had a brilliant experience with ADK9 from start to finish. Norman stayed for three nights and he seemed to have a brilliant time. This was his first time here, the staff were so very friendly and professional. They were very good at providing us with updates putting us at ease. We will definitely book here again.

Rosie had a 2 week stay at ADK9, Chesterfield because she was reactive upon seeing other dogs. Her lunging was so bad that I thought I'd be pulled over.
I received updates and a video from Danny showing me Rosie's progress.
When I collected her at the end of her stay, I couldn't believe the transformation in her behaviour. She was like a different dog.
I will be forever grateful to Danny for helping Rosie to calm down. I am still implementing Danny's ways in order to keep Rosie focused. Thank you Danny for all your help. From what was once a chore, I now look forward to taking Rosie out.

We had a great experience with ADK9 from start to finish with our rottie Bramble who stayed for three nights. This was her first time in kennels so I was very worried but the staff were so kind, friendly and professional. They really reassured me through email and photo updates. She seemed to have a great time. We will definitely book her in again! Thanks ADK9.

Ver early days after collecting my doggo yesterday but ADK9 have been absolutely fantastic, especially Danny the trainer of my dog.
As my dog was in for a 2 week residential which I was very nervous about having recued from kennels, I received regular updates on her welfare, behaviours and how she had been responding which was really reassuring.
As my dog is a staffy she is quite strong and often let herself down with her socialisation and her manners. Not all walks were comfortable as she would often lunge towards other dogs and drag me along with her.
Danny was great, even though it is early days I walked my dog this morning and could instantly see lots of positive changes in how she was responding to the commands for pulling and distractions.
Danny has worked really hard with her. As well as explaining absolutely everything I need to know, he showed me, so it is now my time to learn.
I feel much more confident that our longer walks will be enjoyable
And to top it off, I can take her back anytime for a free 1-2-1 session...Wow!
Because my dog has been so well looked after at ADK9 I am looking to have her stay over for a few nights when I am away.
This place honestly is amazing and I would definitely recommend it.
