As a parent, I found the admissions accelerator course a breath of fresh air. The content is both thorough and practical, and they've updated it at least 3 times since I've joined. My kid was very against hiring an outside consultant, and wanted to do things on her own. The admissions accelerator has been the perfect middle ground for us. It gives us a great framework to work with (giving me peace of mind as a parent) while letting her go at her own pace. Win-win.

The admissions accelerator has been our go-to resource throughout this process. At first we wanted to go with free online info, but it was just overwhelming and really hard to separate fact from opinion. What my son and I really liked about Admission Science's approach is how rational and data-driven it is. I feel like the two founders are real nerds (in a good way) about this stuff and they're real perfectionists. Overall it's been a superb experience so far, and we feel very confident about the path ahead.

Our experience with admissions consultants was chaotic to say the least. Each one left me and my daughter with more questions than answers. We probably interviewed 4 or 5 consultants in our town and they all gave us the same generic advice. I don't know if they were afraid of being cancelled (lol ??) but they couldn't answer basic questions like whether her background would put her at a disadvantage. Anyways, discovering Admission Science was a turning point. I love that we can email the founders at any time, and when we do, they give us very clear no-BS answers. They are straight shooters and care a lot about their students' success, and they deserve their recognition.

The personalized essay feedback from Admissions Science was a major factor in my daughter's success in a super competitive year. My son got into great schools like UCLA, Northwestern, Brown, Boston University, and Columbia! The Admissions Accelerator played a big role in his journey. The most useful module by far was the planning module in the beginning. It helped my son have a complete plan outlined going into 9th grade, and it took out the guesswork the rest of the way. He had most of his application pieces in place by 11th grade, and his senior year was much more relaxing compared to his classmates. This was a real gamechanger for us.

Our school counselor's advice to my son was always in broad strokes. It always felt impersonal, and it was usually too late to be of real use. We needed something of more substance, which Admission Science provided. Their Accelerator's level of detail and thoroughness that was a stark contrast to what we had experienced. I know its self-paced nature won't appeal to everyone, but it was perfect for us. We could carefully review each part of the admissions process, and really make sure we nailed each step.
