Andrew over at AIMS is who you need for your install. I called Andrew probably more than any of their customers. Every time he had a def answer for every question I had. We engineered a $15,000 system for my 1 & only battery operated food truck.

They are very professional and reliable .

Prompt and professional response to my questions

It took 2 emails and a phone call to get a response on a warranted item. I am on the road and totally without any power support and only suggestion was to mail in and 5-10 business day response. My entire traveling itinerary now must change as I don’t have power to camp where I had planned and AIMS obviously wasn’t interested in sending a replacement.

I recently had a variety of technical questions which most companies either wouldn't or couldn't answer directly. It chanced that I made the acquaintance of Andrew Frey at AIMSCORP Technical section and he - with commendable patience - walked me through the details answering ALL of my outstanding questions over the course of several EMails. Kudos to AIMS for having such diligent employees on staff!!!

Bought an AIMS power 8000 from Amazon in 2019. Lucky enough for it to quit inside 30 day Amazon return policy for full refund. Totally understand things break so I bought another one. My luck ran out because the second one worked for three months then quit after return policy expired. Emailed & called AIMS, ZERO response. AIMS provides no support for their unreliable junk! Run, don’t walk from AIMS products. I wasted almost $800 plus lots of time messing with useless AIMS garbage.

I'm happy with my inverter charger 6000w, easy install, charge fast on the battery.

Fast processing and shipping. A great product went to work right out of the box.

After following up with tech support today, Andrew helped me trouble shoot and provided me with the correct switch settings. 👍 I am bumping 2 stars to 4 stars.

Dear Tech Support,

I purchased your AIMS PICOGLF20W12V120VR 2000 Watt and 6000 Watt Inverter Charger. I put a 300 AMP fuse between the battery bank and the inverter to protect it.

Everything seemed good, but when I start the AC while running my 4000 Watt Onan Generator the fuse blows.

Should I bump the fuse up to 600AMPs?

The inverter is within 2ft of the battery’s and I used 2/0 welding cable so think that is all good.

Also wondering if I missed a way to disable the startup draw from the batteries by disabling the inverter assist since it worked fine without it with the old converter.

Appreciate the info.

I did replace the fuse with a 600 amp one, so no blown fuse on today’s attempt, but my fully charged battery bank dropped to 11V After a few minutes and the alarm Light came on so I shut it off.

I ordered a AIMS Inverter, and because it was a medical emergency that I get my motorhome fixed so that we could return to our home for my wife's medical care, I needed this inverter sent Over-night! Reign Elias was such a HUGE help to us, and walked me through the entire order and shipping! She was a blessing to us!

Jay Jones went above and beyond in helping me trouble shoot my inverter and went out of his way to fix it quickly as I was passing through Reno....Top notch employee that any employer should be proud to have on staff. You have an outstanding product but Jay is the reason I will be an AIMS customer for life.

I had an AIMS inverter/charger start acting up a short while before the one-year warranty period was up. (It wouldn't shift from fast charge to float charge despite the batteries being new and fully charged.) I notified the company and got advice several times from their technicians regarding things I should try. It turned out that the unit needed to be returned for repair. A couple of circuit boards were replaced and now it's back to working like a champ. There was no fuss from them about doing the work under warranty. The woman in their office who handled the return was a delight to work with.

I purchased a 1500W inverter/charger. This was as simple as a transaction as possible. The inverter did not work as I expected so I called technical support. They did not return my call the first time I called. I got a hold of support the second time but they did not even ask any questions or try to help me. They forwarded me to returns.

I finally got the inverter to work without help from Aims. I am giving them 3 stars and not 1 because the product works but service is bad. If purchase an Aims product buy it through Zoro, they will provide superior customer service.

I ordered a foldable solar panel that stopped working after a few months. I sent it back, they diagnosed the problem (broken solder joint) and sent me a new one. I haven't rec'd it yet but I trust them. Great customer service. Great communicators

This is the absolute worst company and products ever and everyone should steer absolutely as clear as possible. No accountablity or responsibility in there own garbage products

You should have paid for the sgipping and arranged shipping for something that was a warranty issue due to the failure of your product. A good company doesnt blame the purchaser for there lack of responsibility. At the very least you could have taken resposibility to say that if you where to find out that it was a manufacture defect that you would reimburse us for the cost of shipping and insurance and you didnt do that so do t try and shift your bad practices and. Buisness back on us

I HAVE USED AIMS PRODUCTS BEFORE ,BUT DIDNT KNOW WHICH ONE TO USE IN THIS APPLICATION.THEY GAVE GREAT ADVISE,INVERTER WORKS GREAT,THANKS A BUNCH.I KNOW WHO TO CALL NEXT TIME.

The inverter works well even under heavy load when powered by vehicle alternator. However when powered only by a bank of four fully charged deep cell batteries, the low voltage threshold kicks in at 12.1v vs the spec that says it should operate all the way down to something like 10.8v. The batteries had 12.4v fully charged, so that only allows a voltage drop of 0.3v before it shuts down. I was expecting a run time of several hours at 3A output. Instead I got beeping alarm almost immediately and shutdown within 10 minutes. I sent detailed information to their technical support to see if this threshold could be adjusted and got absolutely no response. I spent a lot of time and money building the power system only to find it doesn’t work.

TLDR. Great when powered by alternator. Useless when powered by battery bank
