Very, very unreliable and poorly organized company. We waited 6 hours for the order confirmation. I understand that it takes a while, but 6 hours? When you want to cancel the service, no one communicates with you, no one speaks English, the taxi does not arrive. If you want to lose a lot of money and nerves with desire, then do it. Even the taxi did not come, they did not send us the money back.

My experience with this company was appalling. In my opinion they are nothing but a group of unethical shonks. I booked this company for a pickup 12 months before the actual date as there were 4 people with lots of luggage and it was for a trip from Florence Airport to the Casentino on a Saturday at 17.15. I emphasised that this time and distance could be a problem but the confirmation I received said that the booking for a van was accepted.
I was on a cruise and emailed the company on the 3rd October to ensure that we would be picked up but I had no response. A couple of days later I rang the number given in my confirmation email and the person who responded said he was away from his computer and would ring me back. He did not. Later attempts to contact him by phone went unanswered. When we arrived at the airport on the day we were to be picked up there was no-one waiting for us. We rang and the person who answered tried to fob us off and said he would ring back. Again, silence. When we tried to ring him again he refused to answer his phone multiple times. At this time we were starting to panic as it was not possible to arrange transport for so many people and the large amount of luggage for such a distance late on a Saturday night. Finally we rang him again from another phone and he answered. How amazing! He was obviously trying to ignore us and this was a deplorable way to treat us. A coward as well as a liar. He finally said the driver was sick and we do not believe this for a second. There was no responsibility taken for the predicament he had put us in.
We were left trying to arrange sudden hotel accommodation for the night and no idea how we would get to our destination the next day. My husband spoke to the local taxi drivers at the taxi rank and they could not help us. We even investigated trying to hire a van but that was not possible. Finally, the lady who was at the taxi office arranged for a private van driver to take us to our destination. Without her and her kindness, we had no idea what to do. Airport City Taxis is an organisation with no ethics of care for the customer. Stay clear of them, especially in Florence.
I booked a ride through your services (round trip from and to Milan Airport).
Upon landing, my ride never showed up, and the driver was not communicative, no matter how many times I tried to contact them. Moreover, upon arrival, I tried the emergency phone number without any response.
Since I also booked a return trip and couldn't depend on the service, I canceled it. So far, I have only been refunded for the return transport, not for the transfer from the airport to the city.
Almost two weeks have passed, and the company's representatives have ignored me.
I would not count on a service like this if I were you.
Only one star because isn't possible to give zero stars. If you travel to Rome, avoid this company and never pay in advance. I paid 90 Euro for a round trip transfer from Termini train station in Rome to our hotel in Rome center. On the arrival transfer, the driver of this company left us waiting half an hour at the station even though we had spoken one hour before my arrival via WhatsApp and, therefore, he knew beforehand what time I would arrive. When he dropped us off at the hotel, he demanded full payment for the transfer (including the return transfer, which should be 45 Euro). However, on the day of picking us up at the hotel to take us to Termini Train Station in Rome, they just didn't show up! I called their call center and they didn't answer. I sent whatsapp messages to the driver who made the arrival transfer and he said he couldn't do anything because he was off duty! So I ended up getting ripped off at 45 Euro. Scammers!
Booked transfers with this company (please donât pay up front)flew into bergamo airport on the 30th may 2022 3long hours waiting , contacted them and rang the number I was given . Only to be told âdonât ring this number again âleft stranded . Thanks to another taxi man who helped us out . So my advice stay clear of this company
Truly abysmal service, read till the end. I booked a transfer from Rome Fiumicino Airport to the centre of Rome, which I prepaid. My card was charged â¬348 for two vehicles that were meant to be transporting a party of 11. No one showed up at the airport. When I called the local transport company, I was informed that both vehicles (yeah, right!) suffered some kind of mechanical breakdown and my booking had been cancelled without forewarning. The long and short of it is that 6 adults and 5 children (yes, 5 restless children) ended up stranded at the airport in the Summer heat. When I contacted their customer care, I was told that the booking was confirmed by the involved driver company, WHO ALSO CHARGED THE CARD, and all was fine from their side (not from mine though). They also had no cancellation notification from the driver company, otherwise they would have promptly reported the fact to me to give me time to organize differently. My attention was then drawn to the terms and conditions which state the following: â1.1 Airport City Transfer acts as an agent for third party transport service providers and the contract for the provision of the transportation service is between you and the third party service provider. 2.1 The liability for the provision of transfer services between you and the service provider is restricted solely to those two parties between whom the service has been contracted. Airport City Transfer liabilities resulting from this agreement shall therefore be limited to those of a third-party broker between you and the service provider. Any liabilities resulting from the provision of the transfer service shall be the sole responsibility of the service provider and their insurance companies.â The long and short of it is that if you encounter a problem, you are out in the cold. No one will take any kind of responsibility, no one will apologise, no one will try to find an alternative transport or somehow remedy the situation, and obviously no one will offer any kind of compensation. You might as well go direct because you never know what youâre gonna get. Then, the cherry on the cake. Their customer care department informed me that âas a courtesyâ they had forwarded my refund request to the involved company. As a courtesy??????? I will let the readers draw their own conclusions as to whether this company should be trusted. In the meantime, I am still waiting for my money to be refunded.
Terrible service and very close to actually being a scam. Booked a taxi service with airport city transfer.com 5 days in advance, Never received a booking confirmation and when I wrote to the customer service 1 day before traveling they said they didnât have a booking in my name. I ended up booking with another company, only to realize that on the day airportcitytransfer sent a taxi even though they said There was no bookingâŠso I ended up having 2 taxis, when I sent them a message informing them of the situation they somehow found a way to blame it on me and deducted the amount. I have been fighting to get the amount back since and have has to engage in a legal process. I would highly recommend staying away from them
We booked an airport transfer from Heidelberg to Frankfurt airport. On the website its was very clear they accepted payment by credit card. We choose the "pay driver by credit card" and it asked for my credit card details as an assurance.
When the driver turned up the next morning at 6AM he said he only took cash. When we insisted on paying by card he drove us to the airport anyway, then phoned his supervisor and read him out the card details. The supervisor pretended to process the card, and said there was not enough money it (which was nonsense as it was a corporate card) and then threatened us with the police if we did not pay by cash.
In summary you cannot trust anything they say on their website and if you don't like being threatened, don'y use this company.
Used them for transfer Milan to Parma. Flight was delayed and driver was still waiting. Nice and professional driver. Asked for standard sedan and got a Mercedes.
Would recommend.
Ps Used prepayment option and confirmed reservation via text and whattsapp on provided mobile number. All went without a glitch
Ordered transfer from Val dâIsere to Milan on 8 Jan 2017. Highlights:
1. Driver was late for 1H 20 minutes and as a result we were late to the train
2. The car arrived was not Mercedes E class but rather VERY old minivan without properly working climate control
3. Driver was always complaining that he was driving 8 hours in a row
Manager, Giuseppe Di Lascio, was extremely unprofessional and just didnât care: he said there was blizzard (however there was not, as we were there I saw it all) and driver was late only for 40 min (however it was not correct). Avoid riding with this company at all means.
We have used this company 4 times now - twice in Northern Italy, once in Southern Italy and once in Southern France. On each occasion we have been met at the airport and our return taxis have all turned up at least 5 minutes before the agreed time. The drivers are always well dressed and polite and the vehicles are also spotlessly clean. We always pay by credit card in advance and again these transactions have gone through without problem.
Bad service
Me and my wife were on a holiday in Italy and we used airportcitytransfer to pick us up in Malpensa Airport and to drive on back three days after from our hotel one hour drive back.
Airportcitytransfer was waiting for us when we landed and told that we have to pay both ways (80 EUR each way = 160 EUR in total). The result was that they did not pick us up. We had paid. We waited and waited and luckely got another taxi driver to get us to Malpensa. We almost did not get our Plane.
So now we have paid 80 EUR too much. The company airportcitytransfer are pretty uninterested in helping me getting those money back, telling me that it is the local Business Partner Giuseppe di Lascio who works at the Milano Limousine Company. Giuseppe is just saying that he will transfer my missing 80 EUR, and nothing is happening. He just wont give me my money back. In addition when Giuseppe di Lascio did not show up, I have gotten no excuse and I suspect him to be one big tricker / cheater.
I really recommend everybody not to use Airportcitytransfer at all.
No driver at the airport when we arrived. When calling the Office I was told the trip was not accepted despite the fact that I recieved two confirmation emails. The Office did not try to resolve the problem but just said sorry... Apauling!!!
