Great customer supports.
Refund Policy Exists on Paper, Not in Practice
I purchased Aiseesoft FoneLab iPhone Data Recovery on April 25, 2026 for approximately CAD $110.
The software never worked for its intended purpose. My iPhone was recognized normally by Windows, Apple services, and iTunes, but Aiseesoft's software repeatedly failed to recognize the device properly and would not complete the recovery process.
I requested a refund immediately after purchase.
What followed was nearly two months of endless troubleshooting requests.
First I was asked to answer technical questions. I did.
Then I was asked to perform troubleshooting steps. I did.
Then I was asked to submit log files. I did.
Then I was asked to reinstall the software and generate new logs. I did.
Then I was asked to submit additional logs. I did.
After multiple rounds of troubleshooting and multiple log submissions, Aiseesoft still could not identify the problem.
Their support team eventually acknowledged that they still did not know what was wrong and began requesting even more evidence, including video recordings of the entire process.
Meanwhile, more than 30 days had passed.
Aiseesoft's own published refund policy states:
"When the software purchased has technical problems and no solutions has been provided within 30 days, Aiseesoft can refund the order if the customer is not willing to wait for further upgrade or solutions."
That is exactly what happened in my case.
More than 30 days passed.
No solution was provided.
I informed them I did not wish to continue waiting for upgrades or solutions.
I requested a refund under their published policy.
Instead of addressing the refund request, I was sent back into another troubleshooting loop.
At one point even 2Checkout, the payment processor that handled the sale, contacted Aiseesoft and explicitly requested that they refund me. Despite this, Aiseesoft continued requesting more troubleshooting information rather than making a refund decision.
My experience was that the company continuously expanded the amount of evidence required while never defining what would actually be sufficient to obtain a refund.
If you are considering purchasing this software, understand that if it does not work for you, you may be required to spend weeks or months providing logs, repeating tests, reinstalling the software, and responding to technical support requests before a refund is even considered.
Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this company or its products.

The best $60 I spent on computer software
I use Aiseesoft Video Converter for Mac essentially to convert output from Final Cut Pro to a format suitable for display on a television. It has served me well for this purpose for her a decade. Indeed twice during that period I have updated my desktop computer which required registering the product (as the registration applies to a device). Aiseesoft have been very good at assisting in this purpose

Lifetime purchase is honored
I purchased the lifetime license and recently had to reinstall Windows on my device which rebooted the screen recorder and the license no longer worked. I contacted them and they rebooted the license code and it works find now.

Every time I try to use this 'Aiseesoft Studio' program
Every time I try to use this program, you tell me I need to register. I still have my Aiseesoft Software Video Converter (2021) Sept 16, 2021 installed. I have never updated it even thought I have a lifetime license. I'm fed up with this harassment. I haven't added any my new programs to my Windows Pro 11 Desktop PC. However, every time I open the program, I'm asked to register again. When I enter my Email & Password, I always get a message that they are invalid. Numerous times they have sent an email saying my license is valid. But the next time open their damn software the same bullshit occurs. I'm a senior and I am fed-up with the harassment. All they are interested in is getting me to continually update my program and charge me money to upgrade to do that. I'm on a fixed income, I am not updating. They are a bunch of scammers and liars. I would advised anyone looking for dependable software stay far away from these crooks. In pass years I've purchased numerous programs from this company, like Burnova Studio for writing DVDs and that has the same issues and when I open them I'm told I don't have a valid license, even though I have life-time licenses for all of them.
Do yourself a favor * stay away from these crooks.
Now they say they want more information. I've sent them previous emails that I received from their service dept. that has corrected this information before. One was sent by Shirley from Aiseesoft Support Team on 9/15/2021 & the other from Ryan on 6/29/2021.
This is more games instead of replying to my email. They keep saying that the Lifetime License is good for 1 PC. That's all I have or have ever had, but when Microsoft send updates and installs them, I receive an error if I try to use the programs. I have no control of Microsoft and their updates. I still only have 1 Windows 11 Pro Desktop. I'm a senior living in a small 3-room condo. I have no space for another P.C.
These are the scams used by these type of crooked software sellers that don't want honor their lies about the software being a lifetime version. They know damn well that Microsoft updates Windows 11 a number times each year. Just about ever time they do that, all my non- Microsoft programs gets removed and put in a folder on my desktop and I then have to re-install them. As I said these companies are as crooked as any thief.
Customer Support was Brilliant.
After using Aiseesoft Studio customer support function to raise an issue after doing a recent update to my Screen recorder app, I was contacted by return email firstly to confirm the actual problem was correctly understood. On sending my positive response I then received a detailed solution which was simple and easy to follow. Problem was immediately fixed. Great response time and excellent customer service. Well done to Aiseesoft Studio team.

I use FoneTrans for storing music in my old IPod. I'm probably the last person using an IPod, but I like to store music somewhere other than my phone. FondTrans always works and is easy to load and change songs. I find it a very useful tool.

SCAMMERS running a very buggy software
I bought Aiseesoft Screen Recorder license a year ago. I have found many bugs and glitches in their software which I reported them one by one through almost 90 emails but they never bothered to fix them. One of them is a severe privacy violation which keeps the microphone always active when the software is running or in background. I asked them for a refund which they always denied to me, thus I decided to fight with writing an honest bad review on here. Only once they saw the 1 star review here they asked me to remove it in change of a refund (that's cheating and blackmailing), but so I did: I removed it in order to get my money back. They told me they would have refunded me immeditaely through the 2checkout platform but it was a lie: they have NEVER started the refund process as confirmed by 2checkout support. So here I am again to expose these scammers whom blackmail their customers to remove bad reviews promising they will get their money back which will never happen.
Stay away from this company and their awful softwares.

FoneTrans seems to do what is advertised
I purchased the perpetual license for FoneTrans and have zero problem with it. Very easy option to copy photos, videos, music etc. without the very bizarre and often hopeless features of itunes.
