I have now returned to Akers Pritchett for the 4th time for help with securing a great mortgage deal. One thing that really stands out for me is that emails and calls are responded to so, so promptly. No matter who I have contact with I am always met with friendliness and a high level of professionalism. I will be back again I am sure.

From the first moment I contacted Steve and his team—with a special shout-out to Kim—they turned what I expected to be a stressful, complicated journey into something genuinely exhilarating and reassuring. As a first-time buyer, I was unfamiliar with the mortgage process, but they treated every step with care, clarity and patience. Steve’s calm expertise and Kim’s attentive focus combined to keep me fully informed without ever feeling overwhelmed. They took time to explain even the most complex mortgage details in simple, everyday terms, ensuring I always understood what was happening and why. Whenever I had a question—even the smallest one—they responded promptly and thoughtfully, making me feel valued and supported. What truly sets them apart is their unwavering dedication. They handled all the paperwork, liaised with lenders and solicitors, and tracked every deadline, taking the stress off my shoulders. Because of their efforts, I now own my dream home. What could have been daunting and overwhelming became smooth and exciting—all thanks to Steve, Kim, and the rest of the team. Fraser and Chloe have been amazing - couldn't have got my house without them. I contacted Steve last year off the back of a friends recommendation to assist with securing a mortgage offer taking into account my role as a Company Director as opposed to a salaried employee. Steve and the team were fantastic, providing thorough but jargon-less advice (no question was considered too stupid!) and always available on the phone. Once the mortgage offer had been secured, Steve and the team dealt with everything else behind the scenes with our solicitor all the way through to completion without hassling us once, meaning one less thing for us to worry about in the run up to the house move, everything on the financial side was seamless. Highly recommend to anyone looking for an efficient, friendly and great value for money service.

Honestly, I can't speak highly enough of the team at Akers Pritchett. I've used them over the last several years for a range of services - new mortgages, mortgage renewals and general advice. They are super quick at getting back, explain everything in full with upfront costs (if any!), and always just lovely to speak to. If you are reading this and wondering whether a mortgage advisor is worth it then YES YES YES. Do it.

Great work by a great team. Their response to my initial remortgage enquiry was very fast and they acted quickly to find out what my options were. James and Sarah were especially quick and informative and very good explaining things in layman's terms. Before I knew it, my remortgage was done and dealt with in just a few days without any strain or stress. I will be coming back to Akers Pritchett every time i need Mortgage advice.
