This shop is very good in terms of service, good communication is the key, kudos to the service.

Great experience from providing packing and instructions to delivery.

This site is a scam. I tried buying a bike from them using PayPal and they accepted it, but then cancelled my order and said they got hacked and therefore I need to be pay them with PayPal.

I then found the actual "Alan Bike Shop" in Indonesia and they said that this site is a scam and they are working with Indonesian police to get the site taken down.

This is a fake website. The real Alan's bike shop does not have a website and definitely do not ship internationally. Buyer beware!

This fall I placed an order for road bike frames from alanbikeshop.com, which offers bikes and frames from a couple of years ago at discounted prices. Before ordering, I emailed them with some inquiries about the products I wanted to buy and that exchange convinced me that I was not dealing with a scammer.
I placed the order, received payment instructions and paid as instructed. A few days later when the order should be shipped the seller contacted me saying my shipment did not meet minimum value criteria for international shipping. This information could easily have been shared with me during the online shopping experience, but was not. In the subsequent exchange of messages, the company agreed to refund my online purchase, after initially trying to convince me to buy more goods to make their minimum value for international shipping.
After waiting some 5weeks for the refund and after sending several messages to the online shop, I was being stonewalled by the company and messages went unanswered. At this point it is fair to assume that my payment will not be refunded. Based on this experience I cannot recommend dealing with alanbikeshop.com
