They sent the wrong shirt and will not respond for an exchange. Trust? Don't bother

I am SO TIRED of companies acting like they have an easy return/refund policy only for it to be the EXACT OPPOSITE. I'm starting to think that they do it to scam customers.

That said, there is NO REASON for ANY COMPANY to receive multiple emails about an exchamge or refund without them goving the courtesy of a reply. At the very least, it's extremely unprofessional. Now I'm sure that even if they do respond, they will claim that I am outside of my return window...as if my emails don't have timestamps. SMDH.

If there is an upside, although their items run small, the quality is pretty good. Still, what's the point if you can't use what you bought? Yeah...I'm low-key disgusted.

I ordered two pairs of pants that were listed on the website as cotton-blend jeans. What I received looked nothing like the photo and the tag said they were a polyester spandex blend. They look like a cheap halloween costume. When I contacted customer service to return them I was given the option to keep the pants and receive a 20% refund or exchange them for store credit. They would not give me a full refund in exchange for returning them.

I ordered a cashmere sweater on sake 1/2 price in a style I was looking for. When I didn’t get my order I connected the only way they have email. They sent me to shipping info. My sweater was coming from China even though the site has a NJ address.
I write about how unhappy and tricked I felt. No response.
Sweater came cashmere right. No some thick badly cute heavy sweater with a tag stating it was 90%polyester and 10%spandex not a whiff of cashmere. Not return tag included so again I emailed and wanted to return this totally ridiculous sham of a sweater.
They got back saying they would refund me 20% keep the sweater I may like to gift it.
Or and exchange as if I trusted anything they’re site says.
I declined either choice
They got back to me with 30% refund and heel seater or mail back to England
I took the natter to my CC company

Ordered large two silk shirts and a pair of boots size 10. The boots were ok but the "silk" shirts were cheap polyester prints and they sent me XXL sizes!!! The return policy to the UK was more expensive than the shirts, so I ended up throwing them away and taking a 20% refund. A rip-off company if there ever was one.

The shoes were advertised as genuine leather, but they are not—they are made of plastic. They also do not look like the pictures shown on your website. In addition, the company gives the impression that it is based in New York, but the shoes are actually shipped from China, requiring customers to wait weeks for delivery. To make matters worse, customers are then expected to pay for return shipping despite the product being falsely advertised. This is misleading and feels like a scam.

Can’t do 0 stars so I did 1. Scam. Size 12 came in as clearly a size 9. Will only refund 10% of purchase plus I have to pay $30 refund shipping leaving me with $8 out of the original $80 I spent. Beware! Reporting to BBB, Alden York already has a track record with them.

The WORST company ever. Terrible merchandise and NO CUSTOMER SERVICE at all.
Run! Do not buy anything from this shoddy place.

Great customer service

Necklace received having clasp on bottom of package , email them right away and for a week they have been saying they will get back to me. They obviously don’t stand behind their products. I would give them a zero but to do the review you have to at least pick one star.

I hardly shop for clothes online and I saw their ad on Facebook and went to their website which looked pretty legit at first. There was a shirt on “sale”, regular price $89.99, going for $39.99 and I impulsively bought it without doing any research. I knew i’d made a mistake when the first shipment tracker update showed it was coming from China. The shirt took about 3 weeks to come in and unsurprisingly, it ended up being a very VERY cheap, crappy-quality version of what was in the picture. They also sent me the wrong size. I ordered a Small but received a “Large” (according to the tag) but it’s actual size was way off and disproportionate. This “Large” had the length of a Small, arms of an Extra-Small and the overall width of a Large. After reading the experiences other people have had with this site, I don’t think i’ll even bother trying to pursue a refund. Definitely a learning experience. Always look into who you’re buying from.

I just got the "jeans" I ordered. They are NOTHING Like the pictures and description. They are cheap knock off made of polyester. The website said they were made from a soft cotton blend. A total lie.

I ORDERED LİNEN PANTS AND THE MATERİAL FEELS BETTER THAN I THOUGHT İT WOULD. THE FİT WAS ACCURATE, AND THEY'RE COMFORTABLE ENOUGH TO WEAR ALL DAY.

I checked the site prior to placing an order and saw that they were New York based. I ordered some shoes, size 10 but they were too small. I contacted customer service to start a return and was 1st offered to keep the shoes (that don't fit) and get a 20% refund, which I declined. The other option was to make an exchange, which I requested. Next I was offered a 30% partial refund, which I declined. Then I was told to make an exchange I have to first ship the shoes to the United Kingdom, shipping fees my expense. Then I was offered a free replacement if I paid the $29.99 shipping fees (already paid $57.98 for the shoes). So my options were to return the shoes to the UK for a full refund (shipping fees my cost) or accept a new size but I would again have to pay for shipping ($29.99). Either way I would have to come up with excessive shipping fees to get the correct size.

Cheapest clothes I've ever seen. Total scam. They said the products were premium leather, but they were cheap plastic (you didn't even need the tag to confirm this, although it did). The fit was absolutely wrong for the jacket, making it completely unwearable, and the bag arrived disfigured from packaging. Definitely not worth the high price.
Also, they don't deliver on their return policy - they promised "hassle free returns", but they don't pay for shipping so it would have cost me as much as I paid to buy the products. They only offered a 20% refund if I kept the product, and then raised it to 30% when given pushback. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM, it's a scam.

my order arrived in good condition and the quality felt solid for the price. shipping could have been faster but overall ı'm happy with what ı received.
