Il venditore non ha mai fornito alcuna prova di spedizione reale: tracking inesistente, nessun documento di trasporto, nessun dato verificabile. Dopo mesi di attesa e solleciti, la situazione Ú rimasta completamente bloccata.
La cosa più grave Ú che Alibaba, nonostante lâassenza totale di prove da parte del venditore, ha rifiutato il rimborso tramite il sistema Trade Assurance, che viene pubblicizzato come protezione per lâacquirente ma nei fatti non tutela realmente.
Anche PayPal ha respinto la contestazione, lasciandomi completamente scoperto.
Ho già presentato denuncia alle autorità per questa situazione.
Conclusione: piattaforma totalmente inaffidabile per acquisti. Se qualcosa va storto, siete soli. Non acquisterò mai più da Alibaba.

I am sharing an unpleasant experience with Alibaba.com as a sourcing platform regarding a purchase from a Chinese manufacturer, Wuxi Maifeng Furniture Co., Ltd. The order was for a dinner table and 4 chairs, which cost me USD 608, plus an additional shipping cost to my UK address of USD 280. Once the proforma invoice was issued, I transferred the total amount of USD888 to a bank account (verified by Alibaba.com) provided by the above seller. However, on 26 Mar 2026 (2 weeks later), I was informed by the seller that the shipping cost was not valid anymore due to the Iranian War, and I was asked to pay an additional USD 240. My request to cancel the order and for a full refund was refused by the seller. The seller also asked for USD 10.00 for the storage fee during the mediation period. This was my first experience with Alibaba, and I was directed by the seller through an offline order (payment to the seller's account directly). I thought that the biggest problem was that I was not provided with adequate information about my the right to pay through the Alibaba online. As such, I was not protected by Alibaba.com. I had requested to pay through Alibaba online the additional USD 240 but was refused by the seller. It was certainly a very unpleasant experience with Alibaba.com and I think that I would not receive a refund (even partially) because the storage fee would exhaust the paid amount.

The seller has lied throughout my purchase about the wait time and four months later, after being told I would have my item within 100 days, I am still waiting.
The seller also deliberately uploaded a fake tracking number so that the item appears to have been âdeliveredâ even though it is nowhere to be seen.
I have reported this but the Alibaba customer service agents do not fully understand English and shower you with compliments and praise (âyou are a wonderful customerâ etc) but donât actually resolve your callout.

I ordered a desk from their supplier Ganzhou Lejiang Furniture 2 months ago. They never provided a tracking number and instead created an interface to pass it off as proof receipt. They claim it takes 1 to 2 months for clearance at sea shipping customs, which if true only happens when theres a issue, they have scammed me out of my hard earned money yet acts like they are right. Alibaba would not cover me with trade assurance despite seller not providing tracking or using a creditable shipping service that provide tracking. Be warned.

What I received was couple of crates of headstones that were robbed from existing cementarry with names dates and pictures of desseased people on them. Ripped straight from cementary. A payment was made by the Alibaba payment portal as a T/T domestic SEPA transaction and the money was deducted from my bank account. But no confirmation received from Alibaba or the seller. Already more than a month busy to get a refund. The Helpdesk (extremely bad) keeps asking for documents and proofs every time you contact them. I have send the documents and proofs 4 times now. I think this is a kind of discouragement to stop you contacting the helpdesk.
They promise to help you but Alibaba don't help you. The Buyer Protection is a farce. Alibaba has to proof they really do Buyer Protection.
