Mixed Experience with Al Khayr (Umrah +âŠ
I have been using Al Khayr since 2019, and Brother Zeeshan has always been my main point of contact. As usual, he handled our arrangements, this time organising a multiâcity trip that included Umrah during the last ten days of Ramadan, followed by travel from Madinah to Bangladesh.
Overall, the trip was wellâcoordinated, especially the flight rescheduling and the accuracy of all flight timings. Brother Zeeshanâs communication and support were excellent throughoutâhe checked in on us while we were in Saudi Arabia, in Bangladesh, and again after we returned to the UK.
However, there were two major issues that affected our experience:
Hotel in Makkah (Emar Andalusi)
We were given an extremely small room with two single beds, a broken AC unit (the cover nearly fell on my face), and a very poor bathroom setup where the shower was directly over the toilet with no proper separation. This was far below the standard we expected.
Taxi to Madinah:
The taxi was parked a 20âminute walk from the hotel, and the vehicle itself was in worrying conditionâold, unstable, and clearly not well maintained.
I understand that some of these problems were due to the hotel and taxi providers rather than Al Khayr directly, but they still impacted our overall experience.
Despite these issues, I appreciate the parts of the trip that were handled well, especially the flights, the hotel in Madinah and the consistent support from Brother Zeeshan.

This was mine and my familyâs first time traveling to Saudia Arabia and we booked through Al Khair Travel, from the start to finish they did a fantastic job.
