Booked an in-person session online using a Vitality health scheme discount. Completed checkout, filled in the questionnaire, committed to giving up 6 hours the following day to make a real change.

Got a call back almost immediately. They needed to 'check things' with Vitality. End result: told the in-person slots were suddenly unavailable (they weren't when I booked), and offered an online course or a waiting list instead.

I offered to pay the full £379+ upfront to keep my spot and sort the admin later. Still no.

If this is how health scheme bookings are handled, it raises serious questions about how Allen Carr treats customers who aren't paying full price out of pocket. The method may work but getting through the door if you're using a referral scheme is apparently another matter entirely.

Proceed with caution if booking via any health provider voucher.

Questioning whether i even want to try it anymore...

I attended the Allen Carr Easyway Seminar for alcohol on the 22nd Feb and have not craved a drink or had one since. No need to define myself as an alcoholic or sit in recovery groups for evermore. I am a happy non-drinker - free to live my life. Highly recommend this approach.

I booked a course online and had to change the place and venue. I rang the office and they were so helpful and easily changed the booking. I did the course, I was ready to stop smoking, and stopped feeling positive and excited for the smoke free future. I write this review having been a non smoker for over a year now. Not one puff ! What do you have to loose?

Started reading the book on Saturday I had already made my mind up that I was going to quit smoking , so fast forward to today , OMG , I REALLY CAN'T BELIEVE IT,, I really don't know how to describe how im feeling , its almost as if I have morphed into some else , I haven't had a cigarette for 4 days , and im not even wanting any , this may sound strange. But I can taste nicotine in chocolate , how strange , so no chocolate for me , 🤣
I feel like a new woman xxxx

Had a session today at holiday village Maidstone, I have walked out of there today feeling a totally different person, thankyou to the lady who delivered the training amazing and thoroughly enjoyable experience with a totally refreshing approach.

I wanted to share my deepest gratitude for today’s session. It was, without exaggeration, life‑changing.

I have read both of Allen Carr’s books on quitting smoking, and they helped me quit before. But like many smokers, I fell into the trap of thinking I was in control and could quit again whenever I wanted. That arrogance pulled me back into addiction, and over time I found myself feeling helpless, disappointed, and trapped once more.

Today changed everything. The session restored the clarity and mindset I needed. It brought me back to the truth of the method, and it reminded me of the freedom I had once experienced. I walked in feeling defeated, and I walked out a non‑smoker.

I want to give special thanks to Debbie Brewer‑West. Her presence, her clarity, and her warmth were extraordinary. It genuinely felt like having Allen himself in the room. She guided us with confidence, compassion, and a deep understanding of the method. Debbie didn’t just deliver a session - she created a space where freedom felt possible again. She arranged the mindset, the atmosphere, and the emotional shift that I needed. I am profoundly grateful to her.

The entire team deserves praise. You are doing remarkable work—life saving work. You treat people with dignity, patience, and respect, and you give them the tools to reclaim their lives. What you do is nothing short of miraculous. You are angels in the fight against addiction.

The session itself was excellent: relaxed, informative, engaging, and incredibly effective. Because I had read the books, I recognised every principle and felt aligned with the method from the start. Some of the other participants were at different stages in their understanding, but I am confident they will succeed because the method works and your team delivers it with such skill and care.

Thank you for giving me back my freedom. Thank you for restoring my confidence. And thank you for the gift - both the literal one and the far greater gift of becoming a non‑smoker again.

Attending the Easy Way seminar has completely shifted the way I think and view my addiction. I've tried various methods in the past with no success, but from attending the seminar, I was actually excited about no longer being a slave to nicotine. I've not smoked since attending and I don't miss it, my lungs and bank account is much more healthier. Have told anyone who will listen how amazing the seminar and book was, plus thanks to my local county council funding it was paid for me. Definitely recommend. Thank you.

Listened to the audio book its life changing man , smoked weed everyday for 25 years , I actually quit halfway through the book didn't need the last joint! I now feel like a different person, weed ruined lots in my life relationships , my goals in life , felt like I was in auto pilot for most of my life , I now feel like im waking up , just remember you ate NOT giving up anything you are only gaining!

Boring to say the least. 5 hours of listening to someone talk about smoking and they affects it has on your body and things like that. Just to say the least, Very very boring!

The facitalatores great the money back guarantee a rip off and don't trust the success rating it's made up where they get that figure from is ridiculous trying this method is dangerous they say refund after three months is rubbish you av to go on two more zoom meetings in that period which aren't regular so if you drink after couple months and they don't av enough zoom meetings you don't get refund.this method nearly ruined me.font try it plus id tried the seminar 4 times ,bought the online course twice and numerous books .each time I rang centre I was advertising ced to try again .I feel I was very vulnerable and they try to convince me it worked. Ive lost hundreds of pounds and time I'll never get back .tlstay away from this company .there plenty of help out there try smart recovery that's free and practical and not a load of nonsense .

Yeah doesnt work. Nearly ruined my life trying to quit using their system. Tried 3 times every time failed. Feel like if you don't get brainwashed by them it won't work bascially.

I honestly can’t believe that it worked! I was SO nervous and sceptical about going but as it was a free trial I had nothing to lose. It was amazing and I don’t know how it works, but it does!! It will be a year for me in October since I had my last cigarette and I didn’t think I would be able to cope without them but I have. Since I became smoke free I’ve had sad times, stressful times and nights out and have t even thought about reaching for a ciggy and some of my friends smoke. If you’re fed up of the cost, the smell, being told how many places you can’t light up these days, go to Allen Carr’s Easyway to give up smoking. I promise you, you will not regret it!

After 45 years of smoking I still can't believe that one day at a seminar has enabled me to get rid of smoking once and for all. Having been diagnosed with a lifelong condition I knew I had to do it but I didn't want any replacements or ongoing cessation support thy hadn't worked for long before so it had to be all or nothing. The seminar made sense and was well presented as the time passed right up to the end of making the decision to throw everything away and after the sort of hypnotherapy I awoken to a new chapter in my life for the better. 3 months now and I tell everyone about the Allen Carr seminar and how lucky we are that our local authority funds it too!

Having been a smoker on and off for many years I enrolled on the course hoping it would finally set me free and it did.
The reasons and excuses we all have for smoking were completely blown out of the window. I found it fairly easy and although initially still had thoughts of having a cigarette I just told myself no and carried on and the moment passed.
I am 6 months in now and most days don't even think about smoking and am completely enjoying the freedom it gives, the extra time and the extra money.

This is the best move I have ever made. I smoked for 30 years. I honestly didn't believe this would work, but I had nothing to lose, so I gave it a try.
Not only I haven't had a cigarette since my seminar 3 months ago, but I didn't even crave one.
Now I see other people smoking, and I wonder why they are doing it. It looks weird, and it smells bad.
I'm so happy I'm free from smoking slavery. I have so much more energy, a positive approach to life, and I have just saved over £1000 in 3 months, by not buying cigarettes.

Hi I remain smoke free which to be honest I never thought that this would work, I have been a smoker for over 50 years and to attend your seminar once then to immediately have my last cigarette on that day then no more, with no aids at all ie patches, vapes etc. I don't say it's easy but there is no great craving if I do it only lasts for seconds I go outside take a few deep breaths and it's fine.
I must admit I don't know how it works but it does i went from 60 a day to none I breathe easier, I don't wheeze the difference is incredible I thank you so much
