Joanna is very patient and supportive. I went a little off topic but in the end we did agree on a plan for the year ahead

My daughter was referred to this clinic urgently. A few days later I received an email from the PA offering an appointment on a date, but at an unspecified time. I wrote back to ask when and got no response. When I followed up, I was allocated an appointment in the middle of the school day. Yesterday, the PA phoned again, now the doctor cannot see my daughter in person and wants to do a video consultation (ie she is available, just unwilling to travel), followed by allergy testing at a separate time - this equates to two mornings off school. I expressed concerns about this, the PA said she would call back, instead this morning, I received an email with exactly the same information and no proposed time for the second appointment or the offer of an alternative appointment in a few weeks and at a date we cannot make. This is something I am paying for and the service is terrible.

I cannot recommend Dr Mich Lajeunesse enough.

My son has had peanut allergy for over two years and we recently attended an appointment with him to arrange the oral peanut challenge. He put my mind at ease straight away during the appointment. On the day itself Dr Mich and his nurse were exceptional. My son passed the challenge and can now eat peanut freely. The whole process was so smooth and I am so grateful.

Dr Lajeunesse is exceptionally knowledgeable, as well as very caring, professional and thorough in his treatment and care. We feel very lucky our children are under his care. Thank you so much.

Vas has been brilliant with our son in allergy clinic. It feels like she’s gone above and beyond to make sure we have all of the information needed and supported us through this journey. She clearly cares about the welfare of her patients and we really appreciated her help.

It is the 3rd time we have seen Dr Lajeunesse in a few years, in relation to my daughters urticaria.
I can only recommend Dr Lajeunease he is a fantastic doctor and has been extremely good when dealing with my daughters condition.

I had to visit the clinic today with my 2 year old and have left feeling so happy and impressed. Dr Mich and has nurse were so incredibly kind to my son and super organised which meant very little time sat about waiting or time for little ones to get bored.
Their manner with my son meant he stayed engaged and felt no pain or discomfort.
This is a process I have felt nervous about for some time but I would recommend any parents to use this service with confidence that your children are in very safe hands.

My daughter (age 5) attended Spire Southampton Hospital for an initial consultation and allergy skin prick testing.

The team were brilliant with her and conducted the tests quickly and efficiently.

Throughout the OIT process the team were amazing. We felt supported and our questions were always answered reassuringly. We live 2.5 hours from the clinic but as a family we decided it was worth the time, financial investment and ongoing commitment because achieving a level of tolerance that can protect against accidental exposure is life changing.
My son was 17 when he started on Palforzia (Apr 24) and updosing went smoothly. He’s now (Feb 25) been in maintenance for 4 months and it’s become part of normal life.
We’re so glad he got the opportunity to do OIT and we are very grateful to everyone involved.

Mich and Helen were incredibly helpful throughout. Helen was always on hand for questions in between appointments when we needed to tweak things. Clinic is warm and welcoming and both I and my children felt confident that the staff would look after them. Was able to have the same time appointment each time. It is an incredible experience to now see my twins eating 2 peanut M&Ms every day with no side effects at all. Life changing!

Dr Mich is fantastic! Great with my son and explained everything about his condition in detail. He is extremely knowledgeable and put us all at ease. Highly recommended.

The care and expertise at allergy healthcare was excellent. I cannot recommend them enough. Throughout my daughters treatment they were supportive and encouraging going above and beyond to support us. The helpline was always answered.

Communication, knowledge, experience of the team and responsiveness. 10 on all levels for our experience and we now feel our daughter has the tools to navigate her way through life when she leaves our supervision.

Mich, Helen and the team were excellent in my son’s Palforzia journey. They were competent, thorough and considered throughout. Their knowledgable confidence rubbed off on my allergic son and we felt safe and supported. We felt welcome and cared for.

My daughter has a severe peanut allergy and we collectively decided to pursue the treatment provided by Dr Mich and Dr Helen at Allergy Healthcare in Southampton General hospital, The treatment provided was first class and every single staff member was so helpful and kind to both our daughter and ourselves throughout every stage of the treatment, Our daughter has completed her treatment and is now consuming two M&Ms daily which has completely transformed her life and ours. I only hope more parents avail of this treatment that can completely change a child's life, I cannot speak highly enough of all the team members at Allergy Healthcare.
