UNFAIR BILLING PRACTICES AND AUTOMATEDâŠ
UNFAIR BILLING PRACTICES AND AUTOMATED SYSTEM FLAWS DURING LEGITIMATE DISPUTESI am deeply dissatisfied with Alphaeon Credit and Comenity Capital Bank. My account is currently undergoing an active second-stage dispute for a balance of $3,649.00 regarding medical services that were completely unrendered. I have provided bulletproof physical documentation, including time-stamped cancellation emails, text messages, and photographic evidence proving that the merchant performed zero physical clinical treatment and fabricated no medical devices.Despite my account being under an active, formal investigation for Services Not Rendered, Comenity Bankâs automated billing system continues to generate monthly statements and demand an August payment. When I contacted customer service, frontline representatives hid behind the excuse that "it is just the system" and claimed nothing could be done to pause the billing.Under consumer protection standards, a line of credit should be protected from automated collection activity while a legitimate billing error is under active review. Forcing a consumer to pay monthly installments on a completely unearned, fraudulent balance just to protect their credit score is a predatory and deceptive practice. Comenity Bank needs a human supervisor to manually audit active dispute files, freeze billing statements during investigations, and fix these automated system errors immediately.
