I booked AlpinBus to transport us from our resort to Annecy. We had quite a bit of luggage and two kids. The driver made sure there was the correct child seat for my younger kid who needed one. Driver was on time, easy to communicate with (via WhatsApp), and drove smoothly. Driver was polite and helpful. We had a good trip and booked again with AlpinBus to transport us to the airport.

Nothing wrong with the journey out. But the return driver was a different story, it was the 3rd worst journey of my life and made my palms clammy. At the end of my worst journey, not this one, I ended up with a broken rib, bruised lung and neck collar - gold medal for that one. The silver medal journey was in Cornwall, being driven along country lanes, at night, in a van by a drunken Cornsihman. So this journey is only awarded a bronze medal. Anyway, well, where to begin? I'll be truthful and realistic rather than having a good old moan about it.

The driver arrived punctually, actually an hour early, but we weren't ready by that point. It was clear that he wanted to get back quickly, perhaps there was a good football match on later! Or maybe because it was the end of the season and the last day of his driving job for the season, as he told us.

We sped off down the mountain roads at a brisk speed, leaving me feeling a bit sick, but ok. We joined the motorway where the fun really began. At speeds of about 140kmph, we played at driving on other car's bumpers, even though the road was busy and the cars in front often had other cars in front of them. I could feel the accelerator and brakes being micro-managed, to try to drive closely on the bumper of the car in front to pressure them to get out of the way. In such a situation I'd back off and keep my distance. This was dangerous driving with no margin for error. I had my son with me too, so was worried for his safety too.

The turning and cornering added to the discomfort of the journey and also gave the impression of a driver not at all bothered about his passengers.

Our driver seemed to take offence at being overtaken by other cars. When he had the chance he would overtake them again. Everyone wants to come first in a race I guess. Who'd have thought it was possible to overtake a Porsche in a Renault van, quite an achievement. In fairness to him, there were other driving undertaking in the wrong lane and driving close to each other. But my issue with this is that I'd paid for what I assumed would be a professional service. I hadn't expected aggressive driving.

I've given two stars mainly because the outbound journey was good. Also because in the return journey, he was at least punctual. Yet safety is such a basic, easy thing to get right.

Driver was very friendly and informative

Our driver reached one hour early! The journey from Vilshofen to the centre of Munich was supre smoot. He made a huge effort to get the vehicle as close as possible to our hotel which was in a pedestrian zone. Overall, excellent.

Really clear easy communication
Drivers were kind, thoughtful and easy to communicate with. Everything was simple, smooth and easy. Can not fault them in any way. The quotes and communication for booking were really quick and clear. The drivers were communicative, safe and very helpful. One even gave us all a treat to eat on the journey and when we asked for a comfort break it was no problem. In resort when it all got a bit stressy finding the chalet, he drove us to the agency and back to get the keys. The service went above and beyond our expectaions and we are very greatful

These guys were awesome. I asked them for a last minute ride back to Geneva as our company changed the time from 5.15 to 3.30am in the morning the day before our transfer. They were professional, timely and half the price that our company were charging for a private transfer. The car was a Mercedes and very warm, the driver polite, safe and smooth - my daughter and I slept all the way to Geneva airport. Would totally recommend.

We had an excellent experience with AlpinBus for our round-trip transfer between Lyon and Les 2 Alpes. Communication from the beginning was clear and very prompt, with multiple transport and payment options available. They were also very flexible with changes to our booking.
Our driver,Toms, was professional, friendly, and helpful, providing useful local information along the way. The vehicle was clean, comfortable, and in great condition, and the drive felt both efficient and very safe.
Overall, a smooth and reliable service that I would highly recommend to anyone considering this option instead of renting a car.

Excellent service.

The transport did not arrive as scheduled. When we contacted the company, they told us the driver was 'stuck in traffic'. When he finally arrived over an hour late, we found out that it was actually a local driver that had been called at the last minute (woken out of bed) to come to get us because the original driver had forgotten. I did not appreciate that they lied to us, but the new driver did get us to the airport in time (2 hours away).

Tom Our driver from Megeve to Geneva was very gentle and polite . He was a very skillful driver who made our transfer very pleasant .
