Stay away, Altez failed to flag a sagging ceiling despite it being visible on photos they took during the inspection. Consequently the issue got worse and we’ve had to replace the ceiling.
Altez denies all responsibility, and destroyed all the evidence (the high res photos of the issue at the moment of the inspection). They also refused to refund the cost of the report in breach of their own terms and conditions.
They have also admitted they’re very used to receiving complaints about their work and having to go to VCAT.
This is our first investment property, for which we’ve used all our savings. Altez made it quite a traumatic experience for us. Do yourself a favour and hire literally anyone else but them.
