Conversations don’t seem real. Profiles definitely have stolen pictures. When you suggest to meet, almost invariably they tell you they need more time. Are you kidding me?! It usually takes 2-3 days on AFFseek.com
to meet up. Altscene is supposed to be a hookup site but everybody needs “more time”. Most often, “more time” means months or years because they want you to keep paying for messages. Up to $3 per message, interacting with bots! Insanity!

The most useless dating site on the web. I signed up mainly in August of last year to meet a future girl, but from the very beginning I realized how toxic most of the people on there are. Most of the girls there have a serious problem with nazi feminism and are afraid of sex as if it were a foreign component to the man-woman relationship, not to mention the ghosting that almost always happens when you send a message. The forum section should also be shut down, as it too harbors a level of toxicity higher than any other type of community on the web, and is completely useless as well as harmful to the site's intended purpose, which is man-woman encounters.

I used this site for 2 yrs but majority time people are either trying find my location or start arguing on images i post and if you don’t reply to messages even if you post you won’t reply to people support certain stuff they comment crap on your profile.

I faced an incident a guy scammed me 30 dollars and got my banking and card info
They lied they didn’t have money and deposit money my account because got my info my acct and card info
This person also doxxed and got my work and home address

I left the site because people there scamming me for money and personal info and unfortunately fell for lies of ppl there and so far 1 of them got my address to my house and work address

The site can be dangerous for a gullible user. Despite of being quite picky I’ve been meeting quite a few women from AFFinders.com
There are many appropriate matches there who don’t prey on my money. So I personally don’t see the point in using Altscene anymore. I can find exactly what I want with fewer risks at a much lower cost on other platforms.

Block my account even though I'm genuie human being. It still is block just because someone block me. Never knew a website that can be so unwelcoming to poc and lgbq+ people.

Gave this site a try a while ago, and while it's nice there are no paywalls (hence two stars instead of one) the quality of the userbase really is absolutely abysmal - Lots of catfishes and all sorts of toxic and predatory women abound, even more so than on other dating sites.

After one single mom trying to scam me into supporting her and not disclosing her status as a single mom towards me too many i then decided to delete my account on there for good. What a dumpster fire.
