On my 58th birthday, I decided to treat myself to aesthetic surgery. I hadn’t liked the way I looked for a while, I had Jowls.
My husband and I googled consultants in the area and after reading a few reviews, we decided Professor Ajay Mahajan sounded like the man for me. I arranged an appointment and went to see him.
He was very nice and he explained he didn’t think I needed a full face lift. He said I would benefit from a mini facelift procedure, he agreed I had jowls but pointed out if he didn’t think it was necessary he wouldn’t have offered the surgery. This put me at ease as I now knew he wasn’t agreeing to this surgery just because I decided I wanted it.

We arranged an appointment date at Evolve Medical and I was booked in.
On the day of my surgery, I was really nervous and scared in fact when I arrived there, I nearly had second thoughts. Professor Mahajan explained the procedure to me in detail and put me at ease. There was no pressure to go ahead, he allowed me some time to think. decided to go ahead and into surgery I went.
I was awake all through the mini facelift surgery and can honestly say I did not feel a thing. Professor Mahajan was chatting to me all the way through and we actually had quite a laugh.

I returned home with arranged appointments for regular checkups. Within two weeks, I was amazed by the result. It has now been three years since my surgery and I still look the same, it’s amazing.

I highly recommend Professor Ajay Mahajan to anybody considering this procedure or any other procedure for that matter, based on my experience.

Highly recommend Professor Mahajan! The perfect size & scars are so neat!

I was considering breast reduction for a few years as I am 24 and felt my chest size was seriously affecting my confidence, mental and physical heatlh. I always used my size as an excuse not to exercise as they hurt so much and were always in the way! No clothing looked good on me (or even appropriate) because my breasts were just too big. I was regularly buying tops 2 sizes bigger than I needed, and buying bras was such a difficult and expensive task !!
Professor Mahajan validated my feelings towards my chest size, their weight, and the reasons why I was so unahppy with them.

On the day of the surgery, I was so nervous. I was admitted at 7 in the morning and went into theatre only 2.5 hours later, after meeting with the Anaesthetist, who was so comforting and kind, and Professor Mahajan, who drew out what he was going to change and remove,. All of the hosptial staff were also so lovely to me and considerate of my nerves! I was discharged only 2 days later and recovered at home for 2 weeks.

4 weeks post op and I am so so happy with the outcome! They are a perfect size for my body shape and the attention to detail is immaculate. The scars are so neat! I am very pleased with Professor Mahajan's brilliant work, I HIGHLY recommend him for anyone who feels they are unsure of who they'd like to do this procedure for them. I am so grateful for his consideration towards my reasoning behind committing to such a major operation. No regrets whatsoever! This was the best decision I have ever made.

I had considered having this procedure for a long time, and as soon as I met Mr Ajay Mahajan and his team at Evolve, my decision was made.
I had every confidence in Mr Mahajan’s skill and professionalism and any doubts completely disappeared.
The surgery itself was a very personalised and friendly experience and I received excellent care and reassurance throughout. I would also add that the initial post op pain that I had anticipated was actually very minimal.
I found the worst part to be the chaffing and rubbing on my underwear for the first 3-4 weeks, so I would advise big plain cotton underwear. I also turned them inside out to avoid the seams!
It has now been 10 weeks since my procedure, I am nicely healed and resumed all regular activities (including spin bike)!
I only have an occasional feeling of tightness on the scar tissue which I am using bio oil on.
I am very pleased with the result surgery achieved and feel much more positive about this part of my body.
As many reviewers say, I should have had this done years ago as I now regret the time I spent in such discomfort and unhappiness with the appearance.

After many years of feeling insecure and self-conscious about my appearance due to having small breasts, I am now feeling confident and do not have to think about what I can/cannot wear. Professor Mahajan was recommended by a close friend who had previously undergone surgery at The Yorkshire Clinic. Although at first, I was feeling very anxious and apprehensive, I was soon made to feel at ease and comfortable. At my first consultation Professor Mahajan was very informative and was reassuring of which method/implant size would be best for me.
Within 3 months I had my first consultation, the procedure carried out and my 2-week review. I am blown away with the minimal scaring and how tucked away they are! I am over the moon with the results and wish I had done it much sooner! I can’t wait to see how they settle over the coming months.

For many years, I have always been unhappy with the appearance and feel of my breasts and have, on many occasions, considered getting implants in order to boost my confidence. I am due to get married in July 2024 and knowing how important it is for me to feel good in my dress, my partner asked whether I wanted to consider having breast surgery.

My partner doesn’t like the feel of implants so I initially carried out research into a fat transfer procedure to (hopefully) allow me have the breasts I longed for as well as keep the feel as natural as possible.

I found Professor Mahajan worked from a private hospital close to where I live and was able to arrange a consultation to discuss my options. I explained my concerns about the naturalness of the breasts after a procedure and after an examination, Professor Mahajan was able to recommend to my that I had a breast uplift rather than implants. My breasts still contained enough fat and tissue that this would be possible.

It was not something I had considered and immediately felt better that both myself and my partner would get what we wanted.
I undertook the procedure in March 2024 at Spire Hospital, in Elland and I am so glad I did. I am thoroughly pleased with how they look and sit and, for the first time in years, I was able to wear an outfit for my birthday without having to stuff my breasts in a bra. I also had my first dress fitting recently and they look amazing in my dress and I can’t wait to walk down the aisle.

Professor Mahajan is incredibly knowledgeable and very professional and friendly, putting me completely at ease (it’s the first time I’ve ever had surgery) and I would 100% recommend Professor Mahajan to anyone wanting to undertake cosmetic surgery. If I choose to have more surgery in the future, Professor Mahajan will be my number one choice – I wish I’d done it sooner!

I had a breast reduction at the Yorkshire Clinic in Bingley. I had my consultation and was booked in only a few weeks later as a result of a cancellation, saving me months of waiting anxiously. My hospital stay was very pleasant and the staff were friendly and helpful (the food was good too) and of course, Professor Mahajan gave me the boobs I’ve always wanted. No question was too silly and no concerns were overlooked; it was appreciated how big of a decision this was and it’s the best I’ve ever made.

I know I’ll love my boobs for the rest of my life and will remember this experience as nothing but positive. I would highly recommend Professor Mahajan and the Yorkshire Clinic - thank you for giving me a new lease of life.

Mr Mahajan is an excellent clinician, I had a Brachioplasty (arm lift) just before Xmas and he was very professional explained everything clearly and the results were fabulous. I was really surprised at how neat the scar was, Mr Mahajan ensured that my arms still looked natural following the surgery. The nurse at the yorkshire clinic were amazing so helpful and made me feel really at ease, nothing was too much trouble for them. I highly recommend Mr Mahajan and the yorkshire clinic.

I visited Dr Mahajan at the Yorkshire Clinic to have my implants removed and replaced. I had only had my first set of implants in 3years so this was a short amount of time to be changing them. However he was so understanding of my circumstances and understood exactly why I wanted a change. I am only 6 weeks post op but the difference already has given me a whole new level of confidence. A truly fantastic surgeon and an incredible experience from start to finish!

After many years of consideration I recently underwent breast augmentation surgery carried out by Professor Mahajan at Spire Hospital Elland. From start to finish I was made to feel at ease and comfortable. During my initial consultation I was provided with all the information I needed and more to make the right choice for myself including a very realistic description of the outcome should I decide to go ahead with the surgery. I am currently around 4 weeks post op and I’m so pleased with the results. I cannot put into words how amazing my whole experience with Professor Mahajan and Spire Hospital Elland was.
The results for me have been life changing including the perfect breast shape and size for me, not to mention the very minimal scarring. Abdominoplasty Review

After years of feeling extremely self conscious and embarrassed of my saggy tummy from pregnancy and weight loss. This had impacted on my self esteem and mental health for years.
I exercise most days but no amount of exercise would help me tone up. I looked ok in my clothes but I hated how I looked and felt in my swimming costume.

I decided to explore having the excess skin removed. I researched abdominoplasty, then plucked up the courage to make an appointment for a review. I was really nervous and embarrassed but I needn't have been.

Professor Mahajan listened to me and explained the options available to me. He clearly explained the procedure, the scars I would have and the results I could expect.

The results have well surpassed my expectations. I wish I had the courage to have an abdominoplasty 20 years ago.

The care I received before after and during my procedure was excellent. I felt really well cared for.

I booked in for a breast reduction with Professor Mahajan following a recommendation from a friend who had the same surgery with him back in November 2021. As someone with an active fitness lifestyle, healthy diet and exercise was seeing no improvement or change in this aspect of my body and impacting my ability to do some fitness activities well and without feeling self conscious.

From initial appointment in July 2023 to surgery date in November Professor Mahajan and his team have kept me well informed, looked after and prepared for the surgery and recovery. Professor Mahajan listened to my concerns and hopes for the surgery with empathy for the impact having large breasts was having on my health and view of self. I took Professor Mahajan’s recommendation on size that would compliment and fit my frame best and the results are exceptional and better than I ever could have imagined.

The team at the hospital were fantastic and I felt extremely well looked after from check-in to discharge and confident in how to approach my recovery thanks to their time taken to keep me well informed about what the first few weeks would be like. Recovery was much less daunting than I thought it would be and I felt back to myself with scars fully healed within 3-4 weeks.

I am enjoying seeing family, friends and colleagues who continue to comment on how much weight I look like I’ve lost and how I seem much more myself. The greatest surprise and gift was the unanticipated uplift in comfort in my own skin and self confidence.

• I lost a huge amount of weight about 4 years ago and was left with excess skin and a huge apron above my C-section scar. Although I looked ok in clothes, I felt uncomfortable in gym wear and bathing suits. I have been going to gym almost every day and have a personal trainer once a week, yet no matter what, I could not get rid of the excess skin and tummy. I researched a tummy tuck (Abdominoplasty) and decided to go with Professor Mahajan at the Yorkshire Clinic. From my first consultation I was very comfortable with him and he explained everything clearly and precisely and gave me different options. I opted for the lipo-abdominoplasty. On the day of surgery I was very nervous but Professor Mahajan helped ease my nervousness as did the whole team of nurses and anaesthetists. I was well looked after by all after the surgery. Professor Mahajan did an excellent job and after 4 months I have a tummy I can show off. I have a lovely shape and the scar isn’t that bad, I even managed to wear a tie bikini bottom without it being on show. I would highly recommend Professor Mahajan for this procedure.

I’m so happy with my results. I have been wanting a breast reduction since the age of 17 (now aged 23). Based on his amazing reviews, I booked in with Prof Mahajan and I was not disappointed! I waited 3 months between consultation and surgery. I was admitted at 7 in the morning and in theatre by 8.30. Everything went so smoothly and I only had to stay in hospital one night. I was looked after so well. The staff at the YC could not do enough to help me!!! They checked on me, came to sit and keep my company, and the food was so yummy. This was my first ever stay in hospital and I felt so comfortable and settled. My recovery was so quick and I had my dressings checked and removed after a week by a nurse and a checkup with the prof just over 2 weeks after my surgery. We were both very happy with the results and I couldn’t believe the difference when looking at the before/after pics. I am now just over 3 months post op and I’m so happy with my results. My scars have fully settled in and my boobs look AMAZING. Book in a consultation with Professor Mahajan, you will not be disappointed!! :)

Having surgery with Professor Mahajan was the best decision I ever made.

Great results from the surgery I had and I’m very happy with the treatment I received from Mr Mahajan. Would recommend

I had breast implant removal, including left breast reduction and bi-lateral up-lift, carried out by Professor Mahajan early September 2023.

I am absolutely thrilled with the results, which by far exceeded my expectations.

I had been concerned that I would have very little breast tissue to ‘work with’, particularly as Professor Mahajan had informed me (during consultation in 2022) that my left breast would need a reduction in order to match the right breast.

Dr Mahajan explained the whole procedure in detail, including risks (associated with any surgery). He also explained that cup-size could not be guaranteed. He gave me plenty of time to ask questions, answering them all in full.

I took several months to finally decide to go ahead with the surgery, wanting to weigh all the information up in my own time…

I came to the conclusion that my implants had really ‘had their day’ (surgery had been in 2005, after having 4 children), and were now quite unsightly…

I realised that a few years had passed by since I felt confident enough to be seen bra-less ‘with the lights on’….

I also knew that over the past 3 years my right breast implant seemed to have ‘hardened’ and I didn’t want the situation to get worse as the years passed by….

I knew that part of my decision making was due to the fact that I had been told by Professor Mahajan I needed to stop smoking 3 months prior to surgery….

So, I eventually made my decision (in March 2023) to go ahead with the surgery. I quit smoking in June (hurrah for hypnotherapy!) and agreed with Professor Mahajan that the surgery would be carried out in early September 2023.

I am thrilled to say that I am now the proud owner of a set of symmetrical, firm, ‘pert’ breasts that are a C-cup!

The scars are very neat indeed, and will barely be noticeable over time.

I am 55 years old and in truth I don’t think my breasts were as perfect as this even when I was much younger.

Professor Mahajan is a wonderful surgeon and I cannot recommend him highly enough!

I honestly can not recommend Mr Mahajan enough. My procedure wasn’t a straight forward one however my results are better than I ever expected.
