My entire journey with Professor Mahajan was brilliant! He quickly put me at ease about any questions I had about my procedure in our consultations. The surgery itself went brilliantly the clinic staff were also fantastic everyone was there to help with anything you needed. Professor Mahajan came to see me the morning after to check everything had gone as planned and to check I was ok! He even sent flowers to the room super nice touch! On the follow up appointment he was kind and reassuring again to answer any questions I had. Overall the experience was fantastic and I’m super happy with the outcome would defiantly recommended him to anyone!!!

I had an amazing experience under Professor Mahajan's care. He was highly professional and very friendly throughout the entire process. When decisions needed to be made about the surgery he consulted with me and achieved a result that was even better than I could have hoped for! I had very little pain after the surgery. My scars are very neat and well on their way to healing even after two weeks. I would highly recommend Professor Mahajan!

I am extremely happy with the overall experience received from Dr Mahajan for my mommy make over surgery, from my first consultation to my final visit.  I decided to have this procedure done because I had a very large bust, excess skin from a C-section and a fatty stomach.

My mommy make over was very successfully and I am thrilled with my new body.  It has boosted my confidence and I am delighted with my new appearance.  I am finally able to buy clothing that fit me properly and I'm happy wearing them.

After 4 kids 2 via CSection I had an over hang on my stomach. Professor Mahajan advised what could be achieved with lipo suction and a tummy tuck. My results are amazing, with a very neat scar which is healing nicely and my contour is now perfect. I’m only 3 wks post op so still a bit swollen but already love the results. Professor Mahajan is extremely professional and will advise on what he thinks will work best.

I had my consultation for a Rhinoplasty with Mr Mahajan and I felt reassured that I didn't have to explain too much the outcome that I was after. The whole process from initial consultation, hospital stay and recovery was seamless. Two months on and I am very happy with the outcome of the procedure, whereby the result is extremely natural and fitting to the face. I would recommend the expertise of Mr Mahajan and his team to anyone.

I had been getting fillers in my lips but was wanting a more dramatic lift in my top lip, and was told I would only get this with a lip lift. I started to research this but found it hard to find clinics doing this in the UK, and especially outside London. After some careful searching I found the details of Prof Mahajan, working out of Evolve in Leeds. I was a bit dubious as it was not somewhere I had heard of but did further research (read the CQC report, looked up Prof etc!) and decided to go for a consultation. The clinic is lovely and the staff go out of their way to put you at ease. Prof spent time explaining the procedure and then measured up as to how much he would need to remove to give a natural lift (was around 5mm for me). He was carful to explain what the limitations could be and to be realistic.

After the initial consultation I had time to think and then booked the procedure. On the day I was settled in the clinic room and given a local anesthetic (same injection types as at the dentist). The room was spotless and there were two nurses assisting Prof. I had said I didn’t want to see what was happening so my eyes were covered but I could hear Prof explaining what he was doing. I could not feel any pain, but at times did feel pressure and movement. I had been worried what the stiches would look like while they were healing but Prof did them so neatly and they were so well tucked into the crease of my nose I did not feel self conscious going out afterwards. They took around a week to heal (dissolving ones so did not need to have them removed) and the scare is so well tucked into my nose it is not noticeable unless you are looking for it. I have had two follow-up’s (in person) with Prof and everything has been fine and healed well.
In short I would recommend Prof to anyone thinking of a lip lift. He is open about what he can achieve and so careful in his work, the result is subtle but beautiful and has made me very happy.

Eyelid surgery
I’m a bit late in posting this recommendation, but in October 22, Professor Ajay Mahajan removed the excess "hooded" skin from my eyes under local anaesthetic. I was apprehensive as my pain threshold is nil, and although at times it was uncomfortable, it was nowhere near as bad as I though it would be and I was in and out within an hour. I am so happy with the results and I can’t believe the difference this procedure has made. I actually have eye lids now and wide-awake eyes, they feel amazing and I feel more confident. The scarring healed very quickly and six months in, the scarring has disappeared.
I would, without a doubt, recommend Professor Mahajan, he is extremely professional, he explained the procedure in so much detail that there weren’t many questions for me to ask after I had had the consultation. Both he, and his team at Evolve are so caring, friendly, and fun, yes fun – they definitely keep you entertained and distracted.

I am 2 months post breast enlargement and mastopexy surgery and I am loving the results already. From the initial consultation with Mr Mahajan through to the operations itself, I felt really relaxed and reassured every step of the way, due to Mr Mahajan’s calming and understanding nature and great advice throughout. I knew I was in very safe hands!

I have previously had this type of breast enlargement surgery about 10 years ago with an alternative clinic/surgeon and 2 months in I looked a bit like a war zone but this time I already have little to no scars showing and am extremely happy with the shape and size.

If you are thinking about any form of enhancement surgery I would definitely recommend Mr Mahajan, not just for his excellent work but also for his kindness and patience!

6 months on from my surgery, I truly cannot express how much happier I am in my own skin. I cannot fault the experience I had under the care of Professor Mahajan, the process from start to finish really was 5*. I was a little anxious at first, but my worries quickly went away after my first consultation. I had wanted a reduction since I was 17 years old (now 24), so when I found AM Aesthetic Surgery I knew I had made the right decision. I had a reduction with liposuction, and lost almost 2kg. For reference I was a G/H cup- now I am a C/D! My shoulder and back pain has gone, my posture is better, and clothes fit so much nicer. I no longer feel the need to wear things that hide my chest, and I can even go braless without feeling self-conscious, which is something I never ever dreamt of. The scarring is neat and fading more and more by the day (I scar easily so I honestly expected the worst in terms or scarring), but the incisions were so thin, I have no doubt in another 6 months they will be barely noticeable. From the reviews online and a personal recommendation, I knew Professor Mahajan was a very skilled surgeon, but when it comes to your own skin of course there is a little bit of anxiety when faced with a surgery such as this. I truly did have nothing to worry about. Professor Mahajan is not only an outstanding surgeon and clearly extremely knowledgeable, but he also has a calm presence and a great sense of humor. His Practice Manager Nichola also provided second to none service, she was very informative and always friendly and helpful, which left me feeling nothing but confident going into the surgery despite my initial worry- she was an absolute star and is a credit to the team. My hospital stay was also great (Yorkshire Clinic), I was made comfortable the entire time and the nurses and hospital staff were extremely helpful, friendly and caring. The food was good too which is always a bonus! Having this surgery has genuinely changed my life, and I really would not hesitate in recommending AM Aesthetic Surgery to anyone. If you are considering it, book a consultation and you won’t be disappointed with the experience and the results.

Thank you Prof Ajay Mahajan and all at the Evolve Clinic. I had been unhappy with my eyelids for 40 years but was too afraid to have the surgery so by the time I got the courage I also had 3 chins mingling into one, well you could not actually call it a chin, more like a melting ski slope.

We all have different motivations to undertake something like this. Mine was motivated by a life-long dislike of my recessed chin. Which was then exacerbated by two thyroid surgeries that left me with a turkey neck at the age of 44. I spent 3+ years looking for the right surgeon to undertake this. I am SO glad I found Mr Majajan. Competent, understanding, insightful and honest about risks and benefits. I have the neck and jawline I wanted and I am no longer reminded of my thyroid cancer treatment each time I look in the mirror.

I had a breast uplift procedure with implants. I was very anxious about the whole thing but decided to be brave as I disliked what I saw in the mirror. I am 54 years old and worried that I may not get the cosmetic result I was hoping for however with due diligence on my part and the skills of Professor Mahajan, the results have surpassed my expectations.

This is a review of my lipoabdominalplasty procedure carried out by prof AJ Mahajan

I have my initial consultation with Mr Mahajan on the 4 July 2022. The meeting was detailed and photos were taken ,my expectations and hopes were outlined to Mr Mahajan who gave me his honest and experienced decision based on all his medical and surgical knowledge on whether the outcome would be possible.
I then received a letter a week later to say it would be possible to go down the green pathway to surgery but it would be helpful to lose a few pounds for a better result and if I consent to surgery and am within a healthy bmi & refrained from smoking I could go on the waiting list .

I contacted Mr Mahajan's secretary and after a conversation I was not only put on the waiting list but also a cancellation list too .

Four weeks later I was contacted to see if I was available for surgery in two weeks time to which I was over the moon about and my surgery date was confirmed .
I then attended for pre op appointments and blood test etc.
My surgery from consultation to the date was just 6 weeks I was so lucky to be in on the 22nd Aug 2022.

On the day of surgery o had to arrive at the Yorkshire Clinic at 7am ,I was checked in and taken up to my suite and prepared for surgery and filled in the relevant paperwork. Mr Mahajan came to see me and told me what to expect and we had a brief chat which I thought was nice and put me at ease . I was the first surgery of the day and was taken down to anaesthetic department at 8-15am .The last thing I remember was about 8:30 having the injection !

When I woke up it was 1:50 on the afternoon i was back in my suite wondering where the day had gone .
I felt sick from the anaesthetic and woozy from the operation the nurses around me were fantastic and talked to me about how I was feeling ,I was in pain but managed well with codiene and paracetamols.
The first night I slept on and off . I had a catheter in so didn't need to get up to the toilet .
The second day in the afternoon my husband and children could visit me .
I was encouraged to get out of bed and go to the toilet myself (once the catheter was removed)
I had blood bags in place either side but slowly managed . I was also encouraged to sit in a chair which I did at meal times .
Pain wise I was very swollen and felt "tight" the corset I had on was digging in a bit but on the whole I felt well .
Mr Mahajan came to see me and told me the surgery had gone well and that I was down for a long time but he was confident with the results - he then gave me a sneak peek at my tummy and I was absolutely amazed and overwhelmed and really happy .
I was due to go home in day 4 but my blood bag on one side was still a bit full so I did stay in an extra night as a precaution but I was happy with this decision .
By Friday afternoon when I was leaving I was much more comfortable I had had a shower myself and washed my hair I had been walking around my room not only many painkillers and stopped the codiene . I felt ok to go home .
I spent a week in bed just up and down for essentials then week 2 I did light jobs but from week 3 I was driving and back shopping with help .
My aftercare was excellent I saw Mr Mahajan for 5 weeks to have my seroma drained then again after 3 months and again after 5 before being confidently discharged .
I am absolutely over the moon I made the decision to have this operation it truly has changed my life my confidence my clothes and my outlook on life .
I would highly recommend Mr Mahajan not only is he an experienced professor of surgery and knows his stuff but he is a lovely caring man than wants the best outcome and really listens.
I had read many testimonials on forums and articles about tummy tuck surgery over the years and the time thought the recovery would be horrendous and hard work with 2 young children but I am amazed at how easy it was afterwards , luckily I have had no issues with my scar and have healed well .

Professor Mahajan is a very highly skilled surgeon who has transformed my breasts from huge and uncomfortable to small and perky. As a woman in her mid sixties I wondered if it was too late for me to benefit from an operation like this, but I am absolutely astonished and delighted with the results. I am nearly six weeks post op as I write this and feel years younger, lighter and more energetic. From start to finish my hospital experience was first class, thanks to everyone involved and especially to the fabulous nurses who looked after me so kindly during my one night stay there. I had a abdominoplasty on the 17/12/22 at The Yorkshire Clinic and I can safely say it was worth it. Professor Mahajan is a wonderful and thorough surgeon who makes sure you have the best aftercare possible. My recovery has been a breeze for me personally and my body looks better now than it ever did before pregnancy. I would also like to thank the nurses who took care of me after my surgery they were also fantastic. My whole experience has been wonderful and I will definitely return if I ever want anymore future surgeries! :)
