The lady Amanda who looked after out booking was very friendly and informative. Our booking was for a large group of 12 people and we also requested several quotes which was timely for Amanda but she was very patient and happy to oblige. We were able to make our final decision and Amanda efficiently complete our booking. I would be happy to recommend to a friend based on the service we received.

I booked a trip through American Holidays and paid £900 for a Premium Economy upgrade one week before travelling on 18 January. Due to major connecting flight issues with American Airlines, we were downgraded to the main cabin through no fault of our own.
Since returning, I have repeatedly tried to get clarity on the refund for the upgrade. While the payment was taken immediately, the follow‑up support has been extremely poor. Emails have gone unanswered for long periods, and the level of communication has been minimal.
I understand that American Airlines ultimately sold our upgraded seats, but as the travel agent who processed the booking and took the payment, I expected American Holidays to take ownership and actively support the refund process. Instead, it feels like I’ve been left to chase this on my own.
Over a month later, I still don’t have a refund, a timeline, or clear confirmation of what action—if any—has been taken on my behalf. The lack of urgency and customer care has been hugely disappointing, and it has made me question whether I would ever book with American Holidays again.
Customers deserve better support, especially when issues arise that are outside their control.

I had the pleasure of dealing with Diane Williams for booking my trip to the states. I had previously intended to book last year with her but had to postpone. I had no hesitation contacting Diane again for this trip due to how friendly and professional she was first time around. Diane is extremely good at her job and responds to all correspondents in a prompt manner. She couldn't have found better hotels and flight times if i had asked her to. All round a 5star experience and wouldn't hesitate in recommending her for your travel requirements. Great Job Diane, keep up the great work

I was dealing with Megan who made the booking so easy from start to finish, no questions unanswered , extremely helpful, she compared alot of different prices for me. I would highly recommend booking with American Holidays. I have used these for several years now on my US Holidays

We walked in unannounced and were taken care of straight away. Further detail was by email and phone. All our enquiries were addressed and suitable advice given including about added extras if required. We were pleased with the engagement and are looking forward to a holiday of a lifetime. Second consecutive year to book with American Holiday. Audrey was super at understanding our requirements, sharing her own experiences and creating the perfect itenary for us.

From start to finish my experience with American Holidays was exceptional, there was such an attention to detail and personal requests I made for our holiday to suit us and our needs, desires etc. All made very easy by the diligence, excellence and knowledge of Kristen in particular.

I dealt with Paula who was so helpful and took all the pressure off. She was so approachable and was patient pricing around and getting the best deals.

Once again Ashley was a great help. We have come back time and again because the service and the price are excellent.

We booked US multi-centre and cruise holiday for third time and it had to be American Holidays. Friendly and helpful staff (who remember serving us from previous holidays). They have knowledge of the US and appreciate the requirements that make for a great family holiday.
