I have been seeing Anne for laser therapy since December '24. Since I was very young I've had a compulsion to pull my hair out - often by the root. I hated this habit but truly couldn't stop myself no matter how hard I tried. To date, I've had 8 sessions with Anne & i have got to say there is a massive improvement in my behaviour regards to my hair. People are even noticing how much thicker it looks and feels. Anne doesn't only use the laser to help treat you, she talks to you to find out your behaviour patterns & triggers, helping you to recognise when the compulsion to engage in your habit - whatever that is, may rear its ugly head - she enables you with techniques to help counteract and overcome these feelings. Thanks to Anne I really feel empowered to finally get to grips with my habit, which is amazing considering I've been pulling my hair out for 36 years!!

I would highly recommend Anne to anyone struggling with a similar compulsion or habit. Her support has been invaluable to me over the last few months.

Anne is absolutely fabulous in relation to helping you understand your issues, whatever they may be. She is a great listener firstly, and you feel an overwhelming connection when you sit and spend time with her. Anne took me from anxious and emotionally drained to understanding my issues more clearly and offering advice which was non judgmental and impartial. That then allows for practical solutions and understanding to help rectify any problems you have.

Her laser therapy is amazing and really helps reset your nervous system.

I went to Anne last year for laser treatment initially for weight loss, and to control my binge eating. What I gained was so much more than I could have hoped for. My anxiety is under control, no longer controlling me. This had a ripple effect in to other areas of my life, helping me deal with situations that I had put off for years .
Six months on from my course of laser therapy, my life has transformed, not just physically , as I’m over 3 stone lighter, also mentally I’m in the best place ever . I cannot thank Anne enough for her support, understanding and compassion.

I’ve left this a while so I can give you complete review. I would like to start by saying Ann Penman is one of the nicest people you could meet and she makes you feel very relaxed. So I seen on Ann on two occasions for laser therapy to stop smoking. In these sessions Ann gives you information to that helps your thinking around smoking and felt CBT based to me. The laser pen is not painful and and she moves it to various points including your wrists. I’m not going to lie the first couple of weeks were a little challenging and takes some willpower/mindfulness to focus on why you’re stopping. I had one more follow up from my initial visit. So just about 2 years and I’ve not had a cigarette. I know in my head that I won’t smoke because I make a choice not to and understand that if I did I would start it all over again. If you want to stop smoking go see Ann, you won’t regret it as I know I don’t.

Thank you Anne! I am Canadian and was certified with a company over there and did laser therapy for years. When I moved to the UK I had to be certified by someone here for insurance reasons. I didn’t think much of it until I met Anne. She is WONDERFUL! I learned more with her than I ever did before. I completely upgraded my business practice. I prefer her methods and love the way she handles her clients with care and honesty. I still have continues support from her running my clinic in England. She also introduced me to other ladies in the business and now we have a community which is SOO important.

After vaping for nearly 15 years and failing to quit numerous times, I visited Ann after a recommendation.

Through the therapy/advice and myself being invested in it, I have not vaped for 7 weeks and can safely say I will never vape again.

What Ann has done has completely changed my life for the better and I can't reccomend the therapy enough.

Had my first laser therapy on Friday with Tracy to stop me smoking....was back for 2nd session today,Tracy is lovely,very supportive and makes the whole thing a very laid back experience,I have had lots of urges to have a cigarette but haven't and along with the laser,Tracy and her support and tips,and my will power i am smoke free

After smoking for over 42 years I decided it was time to quit. I contacted Anne and we had a great conversation and I made an appointment for laser treatment she advised me to keep smoking right up until the appointment which I did.8 months later I’m still smoke free thanks to Anne. PS i smoked over 40 a day. I would highly recommend Anne to anyone wishing to stop smoking.

I would recomend Ann Penmans laser treatment to anyone who is serious about stopping smoking.
I got it done over 7 yrs ago and have never even thought about having another cigarette.
I received my treatment from her colleague Margaret Ann Mackenzie and it’s amazing to think that this can stop you smoking and Margaret Ann was a huge help to me and i’ll always be in debt to her.

Would highly recommend Ann to anyone with a fear of flying! She is excellent at her job. Ann helped me to look at things from a different perspective. I felt extremely chilled out after each session and after all the preparation I managed to take a flight to America and back with no problems. Very grateful for all of Ann’s help :)

I went to Anne Penman Laser Therapy after my friend said his dad had stopped his long time smoking habit. Wasn't sure if it would work for me but wanted to try. Its been a year now since I stopped and I'm glad to be free from it . I'd highly recommend Anne Penman ..

Went for laser therapy after my partner had been, I was a bit doubtful it would work but now 5 months smoke free and feeling great I can highly recommend Anne and the treatment

I would really recommend Margaret Ann Lanarkshire. My husband and I both had stop smoke laser therapy last year and 10 months on we are still smoke free. I can’t thank Margaret enough for her support! She completely put at ease and gave us loads of coping exercises with our breathing. It’s been amazing to finally be smoke free and have money to buy treats instead of cigarettes.

Anne is such a lovely lady and totally professional. I never thought I would ever stop smoking. Anne believed in me and thanks to her I am now 6 months smoke free. Anne is a gem of a lady.

Anne,from start to finish was calming and proffessional. She answered any questions that i had and thanks to her laser therapy im now one year smoke free an look forward to many more years ahead as a non smoker.

Miracle Im A Non Smoker
I was recommended to Anne threw a family friend. When visited Anne for the first time on the 5 th of September 2023. I had no faith in myself , as I had tried to stop smoking on many occasions , and always picked up a cigarette. Anne is a very kind and compassionate lady who has patients of a saint. It took at least 6 zaps of the laser , and Anne having faith that I would do it . The reason for having as many sessions , and Anne listening to me was I was suffering a lot of stress at the time I first went to Anne , and I was saying I don’t think I can do this , and it’s not the right time . But here I am today saying I’m a non smoker and now it is a miracle because nobody believed I would do it including myself , and all thanks to Anne providing laser Therapy .laser Therapy is so relaxing and it really does work.

I know if your thinking about quitting smoking or vaping you believe that nothing will help you quit. I went to Anne very sceptical, I was on 20ish a day, truly thought that would be me forever. My friend saw Anne Penman on Scotland Today and recommended her to me, it took me a further year before I made the call. I'm not entirely sure how it works and Anne has explained it to me many times, all I know I came out from my 1st appointment a non smoker. U do feel good about stopping it's a strange feeling, u could smoke but u dont want to. Anne is a beautiful person inside and out and just knows how to make comfortable and at ease straight away. I am 3 months off the cigs and couldn't feel better. If you want to quit either cigs or vaping , give Anne a call I promise you will not regret it.

I started smoking when I was 15 and have stopped and started a couple of times over the years, as although I had stopped, it was always on my mind. I then switched to vaping about 5 years ago and its the worst thing i ever did. It was constantly in my hand and caused pains in my lungs. Anne is a miracle worker. In the past I would keep track of how many days I'd stopped for and I really didn't think I would ever be able to stop vaping, but I am completely smoke/vape free and have been for months.. and will be forever with only one session.
