UPDATE
UPDATE: have been with “Anote Music” since June 2023, we are now August, and have had two royalty payment, and up my investment to just over €3,000. I have nearly hit my 2.5% ownership in “Ever Ever Music” this was my main goal, currently 2.25% and plan to reach that buy end of August. With the plan to work towards 5% by March 2024. I have had no problems with the app (iPhone) just biding time a buying up shares as they come.

Nel frattempo ti segnaliamo che abbiamo cataloghi contenenti canzoni eseguite da artisti famosi come Avicii, the Kinks, The Who, Drake e Martin Garrix per nominarne alcuni. Nel caso tu abbia preferenze su quali artisti ti piacerebbe vedere nella nostra piattaforma, mandaci un messaggio e lavoreremo per aggiungerli. Per il resto, é davvero un piacere sapere che hai trovato il funzionamento della nostra piattaforma perfetto, perché certamente questo é quello a cui aspiriamo lavorando e migliorando la piattaforma giornalmente. Grazie!
Needs work
Needs work. Tried registering on their website. Because of course, nobody gets to browse for free without giving them personal details first. Already irritating. I persevere.
Entered my details which were immediately forgotten, apparently there is somehow something now wrong with the EMail & Password I'd just entered.
Tried a Password Reset sent to my EMail.
Which never arrived.
Lost patience and abandoned their site.
Can't give any feedback about Business etc because I couldn't get in to experience.
For me, it was an annoying failure from the start.

What concerns the information to browse, our corporate website provides most information. There are also specific landing pages for all our catalogues with a lot of details publicly available. Yet, it is true that to see all financial details and more in-depth analytics from all the available music catalogues, you'll have to create an account and log-in to our platform. As you may understand, this is also to protect and respect the confidentiality from all the different listings.

Startup promettente ma ancora acerba
Un'ottima idea quella di diversificare gli investimenti investendo nelle royalties musicali, ma - almeno allo stato attuale - questo Anote Music è di fatto un progetto ancora in fase beta, con un catalogo musicale molto limitato, e che tra l'altro rende difficile per l'investitore il processo di trovare e selezionare la musica in catalogo: infatti i settaggi relativi al genere musicale non funzionano, nè è possibile cercare la musica per artista. Praticamente ci si deve accontentare di quei pochi brani presenti, ma a questo punto tutto l'intento di diversificazione - che starebbe alla base dell'investimento in un simile progetto - viene a mancare. Come se non bastasse, i brani proposti non sono, oggettivamente, quelli più promettenti su un lungo periodo: occorrerebbe piuttosto puntare su nomi più blasonati e che oggi piacciono un po' a tutti (ad es. Silk Sonic, Imagine Dragons, Eminem, RHCP, Marshmello...) o sui divi della generazione Z (Billie Eilish, Megan Thee Stallion, Olivia Rodrigo, Dua Lipa, Shawn Mendes...), mentre invece su Anote Music sono selezionabili prevalentemente artisti del passato (ad es. i The Who) che, sebbene abbiano anche avuto un immenso successo IERI, DOMANI saranno prima o poi dimenticati. Prendiamo ad esempio i Jalisse: sebbene artisti che posso confermare sono anche molto talentuosi live, avrebbe senso investire su un duo che praticamente ha tutto lo showbiz contro e la cui notorietà dipende soltanto dall'aver vinto Sanremo nel '97?
Infine, sebbene la startup in questione sia stata fondata da degli italiani, la maggior parte del sito - inclusa la home in cui è descritto il funzionamento di Anote Music - è in inglese e non si riesce a capire bene, almeno all'inizio, come funzioni questo sito (sembra piuttosto che sia un sito che paga per ascoltare canzoni). Insomma, buona l'idea ma manca la materia prima

Il nostro team sta lavorando per estendere le funzioni di scoperta musicale della nostra piattaforma in modo che sia ancora più facile per la nostra comunità di investitori scoprire tutti i diversi artisti/canzoni all'interno dei cataloghi elencati.
Con oltre 6,5 milioni di euro investiti in operazioni chiuse e più di 100.000 euro di royalties distribuite alla nostra comunità di +12.000 investitori, non diremmo che ANote Music è in BETA, ma piuttosto in piena attività.
ANote Music ha sede in Lussemburgo e serve un mercato mondiale, ecco perché il nostro sito web aziendale è in inglese.
Tuttavia, abbiamo fatto in modo che la nostra piattaforma di investimento sia completamente disponibile in italiano.
È già possibile navigare nella piattaforma e avere accesso all'intero repertorio dei cataloghi musicali disponibili (in alcuni casi con oltre 10.000 brani inclusi in un catalogo). Per facilitare il tutto, abbiamo incluso i brani più importanti all'interno della panoramica del catalogo (che può essere scaricata) e abbiamo creato anteprima delle playlist su Spotify.
Per quanto riguarda gli aspetti di diversificazione, nei prossimi mesi saranno disponibili altri cataloghi, con musica più conosciuta a livello internazionale.
Investendo nella musica, il tuo portafoglio di investimento si diversifica con un asset con poca correlazione con i mercati finanziari tradizionali.
Le abitudini di consumo della musica, infatti, non hanno le notevoli oscillazioni che potrebbe avere un normale mercato azionario.
Con questo in mente, è anche interessante capire che la musica evergreen (o "vecchia" come ti piace chiamarla) spesso offre più stabilità sul lungo termine, che rappresenta un vantaggio per chi investe in quella musica.

Great platform and UX, poor liquidity
Having being with Anote since it's start I can say it is the best European platform for music royalties.
The user experience and the availability of data has improved overtime, as the offerings on the platform.
Only real negative: the market is illquid with no real 2 way market. The management should create incentives to clients to provide liquidity or create a market maker facility as currently is impossible to offload your investment.
The return offered does not compensate for the liquidity premium, this has been the main reason I stopped to invest with them.
I hope the management take this matter seriously and take action to make the market more liquid. This will undoubtedly increase the number of investors willing to engage in this asset class
