Fantastic experience with this company! We rented a charming flat on Dover Street - easy walk to Green Park tube, across the street from The Ritz and Fortnum & Mason. The flat had every modern amenity - including washer-dryer, dishwasher, air conditioning and modern bathrooms with REAL showers with fat, white, fluffy towels! The company was wonderful to work with in every way. Loved the "Meeter/Greeter" system that helped us check in and learn about the flat. Appreciated instant response to every question and every need. Nick was easy to book with and stayed communicative throughout our rental. The flat management team was also terrific! We will be back,
and will book with confidence with APLH. Thank you!

This company provides a great alternative to a hotel stay in London. The studio in Chelsea was perfect for the 10 days I was in town. It had kitchen/washer/dryer and 24 hour concierge service downstairs. It was a few minutes walk to the tube station which was one of my must haves. A few blocks away was a small village square to get coffee and groceries. There was also a small grocery store across the street from the apartment building. All my interactions with this company were quick and efficient. Their attention to detail was awesome! I highly recommend this company and look forward to using them again on my next London trip!

We have been working with A Place Like Home for 15 years, and nothing has gone wrong...which is another way of saying everything has gone right. They are efficient, polite, sensible and pro-active. I guess that is near pretty near perfect.

Our apartment has been used from time to time by APLH for the past few years to provide accommodation for visitors to London. They have been successful in finding responsible clients and the property has always been well looked after and presented. The APLH personel are excellent: helpful and attentive at all times. We would recommend them to anyone looking for accommodation here.

Our apartment rents well, routine problems are usually identified and acted upon promptly - which ensures that the property remains desirable all year around.

I absolutely trust APLH with my home, and can relax in the knowledge that they will look after it, and sort out any issues quickly and without fuss. It feels very much like a partnership, they listen closely to any concerns I may have, and act upon them. It has been a delight to work with them over the past year. And they have worked really hard to keep the bookings coming through. I have used much bigger companies in the past and felt that neither my home, or my concerns, were important. This is not the case with APLH, it’s a small, friendly company that offers a service that feels personal and professional.

Had an amazing stay in a lovely Kensington flat with a charming little neighbourhood steps from the front door (Italian cafe, wine merchant, restaurants, bakeries - what more could you ask?). Walked EVERYWHERE - a fantastic base from which to explore. Nick was wonderful to deal with in the booking process - very responsive to questions and very reasonable about COVID concerns. Can't say enough good things!!!

Don’t waste your time. Entered my dates on the site and saw several desirable properties, contacted them with my details and asked what was available. Nick forwarded the details and price of an attractive property. When I confirmed we would like to go ahead suddenly the owners did not have availability and I was offered a significantly less attractive property with insufficient bedrooms to accommodate my family. When I turned this down apparently they had no other properties. Properties on the website search bear no resemblance to what they will offer you.

Arrived at 4pm to find that flat not cleaned and no towels or sheets. Notified and cleaners arranged urgently thank you. However we couldn’t get into fly until after 7:30pm ! I know probably simple oversight but really disruptive when travelling

Great location, spacious apartment in central London, close to Notting Hill and Portobello Rd and High St Kensington shops. Apartment was clean and contained everything you require to utilise their kitchen and the host was helpful at check in. I will definitely stay again.

People are very kind and helpful, I had communication with Nick who was really nice helping me arrange the mistaken dates I booked. Every time we go to London we book through a place like home.
The site is very friendly.
The flat was very good, super location and comfortable.
They’re were to small issues, there is no pressure in the shower and the stove was really slow to cook. But everything else was very nice.
