We've used them for 4-5 years and had two instances where HMRC tried to debate our application. In both cases we handed all of the comms to Apogee and they were excellent.

I recommend them to others frequently and will continue to do so.

We had a fantastic experience working with Apogee Associates. From the outset, Jack, Ollie and Matt immediately understood our technology and the challenges around it, which made the whole process refreshingly straightforward. They were level-headed and pragmatic when navigating compliance checks, always patient and friendly, and incredibly easy to work with. These guys are my new heroes. After helping us successfully claim our R+D tax credits for the past 3 or 4 years, we were unfortunate enough to be randomly selected by the govt for a review of our claims. Our claims were rejected (which is apparently quite common) and we were asked to pay back almost £70k in tax credits for the previous 2 years. The Apogee guys barely flinched at this - they were adamant that our claim was 100% legitimate and said that they would fight on our behalf to get the claim back. They appealed and were rejected and came back to ask us for more information, and on the second round of appeals (I think, or maybe even the third?) they were successful. The letter from the HMRC review person who read the second appeal was glowing and very complimentary of their efforts, saying that they had made it very clear and a non-expert to help them understand the specifics of our claim. Their confidence never waned and they put in a lot of extra effort on our behalf to ensure we ended up with our claim reinstated in full at no extra cost to us. Without having Apogee managing the claim for us we would have been in a potentially quite vulnerable position as the extreme alternative to being given the grant was to be taken to court and fined, so it felt good to have the shield of going through a professional company to prevent the worst case scenario from weighing on my mind.

Apogee were extremely helpful from the outset.

We were very skeptical about this being real but apogee put 100% faith in us and delivered ten fold greatly helping us with a very good outcome!

A great bunch of R&D specialists that quickly and efficiently helped us with our return. They're not the cheapest but their knowledge and passion result in more funds claimed from HMRC and less time wasted on countless spreadsheets - a win-win. Would strongly recommend!

Apogee came recommended to us via a friend's company, and I am so glad to have taken the recommendation. They are super friendly, professional, and definitely know what they are talking about. They kept the meetings short and sweet (my favourite type of meeting), were flexible with meeting times. They made it really easy for us to provide the information they needed, took all of the stress out of what would otherwise have been quite a lengthy process, spoke directly to our accountants to reduce our workload even further.
