DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP – if that’s what you can call them! I brought a Mercedes GLA over the phone via auto trader from Approved Cars Limited, when I arrived the sales executive that sold me the car and had arranged my handover had given the keys to another executive to deal with on the day, I only found this out once I had arrived.
The new sales executive didn’t have the answers to my questions and was simply just handing over the keys, however the car was not cleaned when I arrived that bad it had cobwebs on. I agreed a £75 discount and to get the car cleaned myself. After continuing the handover to the inside of the car I noticed there was missing specification which was on the auto trader advertisement, I agreed that it didn’t matter and I would still take the car.
Car taxed, insurance swapped handover nearly complete, I notice the car had no fuel in, the fuel light is on, I then start to question with the sales executive what was actually done prior to my collection and if the Used Car Check / Service was even completed. Please bare in mind at least £25 fuel is a normal requirement.
The sales executive is the only one on site therefore cannot leave the premises so I drove down the road to the fuel station to fill it up and drive home, I put £50 worth of fuel to only find out when the engine was turned back on there were tyre pressure warning lights.
I instantly drove the car back to the dealership which was only a matter of seconds away and told them that this is not acceptable and I am not taking this car today due to the disgraceful condition they thought was ok to sell a car.
After leaving the dealership and with thought I decided to fully cancel my order as I couldn’t trust this dealership, it was a shambles.
After trying to request my money back that I was due with much hassle 2 months later I have now only lost £10 insurance swap difference and my mileage / time to the dealership. However I stress hassle with my refund, I have had to fight on numerous occasions via email for the refund of the fuel I put in the car, as well as the Tax for the car because DVLA only refunded me 11 months.
This dealership is unprofessional, despite telling the sales manager, James Clement, my correct name still continued to use the wrong name to address me, they hardly ever have an email signature I had to pick this up with them to find out who I was actually talking with.
Overall, incompetence, completely ruined my experience of a new car for myself, very stressful, has taken 2 months to sort and I’m still out of pocket, and not one manager picked up the phone to apologise!

First class service from Approved Cars. Peter was professional and friendly from the first enquiry to driving away. The car was immaculate on collection, complete with a fresh MOT. Felt very confident buying from Approved Cars and wouldn't hesitate to do so again.

After seeing the reviews I was a little hesitant when my partner reserved a van here but we couldn’t have had a better experience. The van is immaculate, the staff were super friendly and interpersonal and the entire process was smooth. Couldn’t recommend them enough! Thanks Peter!

Went to Approved used for a van, lui and Peter Price dealt with the whole process both of them honestly were really good. Allowed me extra time to come down and view it as I couldn’t get there for a few weeks due to work. The guys were not pushy at all unlike other salesmen. The van was in great condition as described.I would recommend this company and certainly use them again.

A good friend of mine bought a 2016 Nissan Juke.. the car of her dreams.. it’s ended up as a complete nightmare!!!!. Approved Cars and Blue Motor Finance will not present pre-sale reports on the car’s condition prior to my friends purchase… and worse still deny that the car was returned by my friend after the engine light illuminated days after its purchase that they ‘dealt with’ but now say the car was never returned…This car has serious mechanical issues that have we believe were there pre-sale … SHOCKING !!

Friendly and informative, with a great trade in deal offered on my car. Lovely customer service, couldn't do enough to help. Am so pleased with my new car!

Have just brought a car from this garage Approved cars Ltd in east Peckham. Very helpful and took me through all the process. Peter was very helpful and very professional. Got my v5 with the car and all paperwork. Overall could not be more happier with the service and my new car.

Can’t speak too highly of Approved Van Centre in East Peckham. Popped down to view a few vans which wasn’t the right ones for me BUT Peter & Lui said they will get the right van I needed within a couple of weeks. I left a small deposit and within a week it was there all serviced/MOT’d & looking great. They also arranged all my finance as well which was so simple & easy.
10/10 would recommend any one looking for a van to give them a visit.

Smoothest car buying experience. Have never bought a vehicle before with such an easy and stress-free manner, they communicated with me keeping me on the same page and making sure i was aware of the next steps as this was my first time buying from this dealer, and a week after test driving, the car was ready to be collected. Brought new van off approved cars & finance at East Peckham & had great experience & trouble free , after reading reviews i was cautious but Lui looked after us fantastic & so pleased with new custom & was great value compared to other dealers prices.

Called offering me a price for my TT advertised in AutoTrader, agreed said they would put £250 in my account, give bank details, agreed collect next Tuesday, then......nothing. Won't answer my calls, nor text messages, no money in bank. Absolute waste of time, do not trust, like multiple other reviews, lucky I'm only selling, so lost nothing unlike others buying with multiple issues. AVOID THIS DEALER!!!

Would you believe it, posted a negative review here and on Google Reviews and got a message and a call in under 5 minutes. Hilarious 😂!!!!

It gets better....they just accused me that my immaculate fully documented TT is a Cat N....😂😂😂!!!!

Terrible service purchased a car, no recoept cash on delivery clearly had a moody mot as many faults as soon as I called to complain they never answered the phone again now in touch with trading standards and inland revenue they also trade inder midland motors do not mistake them fir another midland motors that are reputable cannot say clearly enough STAY AWAY FROM THESE CROOKS THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY AND GIVE YOU AN UNSAFE PIECE OF JUNK STAY AWAY

AWFUL service, Keep Away At All Costs!
Worst experience possible.
Paid for a £250 holding deposit on a Ford Transit van while waiting for a full service history which, "allegedly", wasn't available to them at the time. Was promised that the money would have been either used towards the sale or returned should the sale not go through.
Waited and chased for the service history that never came and decided not to go ahead. Asked for a refund of the £250 holding deposit and was played around for weeks i.e. send us an email, need to speak to head office, call back as the person who deals with this is not available and all sorts of other excuses.
Finally being told, after over a month of back and forth, that the van had been sold and that I was not due any money back!
NEVER told at any point that this would have been the case despite having so many conversations and phone calls with the garage.

KEEP AWAY, give your hard earned money to someone more professional and honest.
Complete scam.

I wish I’d paid attention to the reviews.
Although I’m actually very happy with the car, sadly I’ve experienced what many of the other reviews detailed.
I was told by 3 different members of staff that they 100% had the V5 in the office, this turned out to be untrue, either a lie or mistake I can’t be sure but Peter seemed surprised when I suggested I had lost faith in them after being told that. I suspect this company is regularly selling cars when they don’t have the V5 in their possession as it’s a common theme here. They also said they would send me the vehicle’s parcel shelf and second key if they turn up, I won’t hold my breath.

I bought a car earlier this year I had agreed prior to purchase that certain work was done including the headlights that were misting up. I collected the car and within a few days I noticed the lights misting up. I have reached out several times and have been promised calls back and non have been honoured.

Customer service clearly isn’t a priority I would steer clear if I was you and buy a car from elsewhere as if you have an issue they won’t respond.

During the purchase of my Ford ranger I was promised it had full service history although the paperwork wasn’t in the garage. The salesman promised he would email though the documents but I never received. I have now called and emailed several times, being promised each time that’ll they will send the service history through.
I have now given up. Avoid.
I can only assume I was lied to and in fact there is no service history.

Never ever seen a company quite like this one. Continued lies from Geoff and Tony . No v5 in 10 weeks and no spare key posted as they promised us 2 months ago... 1st Geoff said hes done our log book online then 2 weeks later turns out he said he done it by post and today after contacting DVLA myself iv been told absolutely no application has still been made by the dealership. We have been back and forth for 8 weeks trying to get our legal documents and we have been fed lies after lies. Anyone who cares about having legal documentation with there vehicle then AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!

So we were looking for a car and decided to go with Peter from approved cars. We discussed over the phone and email about the details of the car I wanted and to part exchange my current car. I’d never seen the car before as we live 2 and a half hours away and when we got there everything was sorted out, the car was ready to drive away and all I had to do was dot the i’s and cross the T’s. Great service would recommend to anyone.

I have just bought a secondhand Ford Transit Custom van from ‘Approved Cars Limited’ via Distant Selling as I live in Manchester.

I dealt with Geoff Brownlee, Sales Executive, and it was a doddle.

He gave me a virtual guided tour of the vehicle and pointed out all that I needed to be aware of and he made the sale so easy.

He kept me informed throughout the sale and never once did I feel, because I hadn’t seen the vehicle in Kent, that I would not be getting what I paid for.

He arranged transportation and the drivers were brilliant.

At the beginning I was a little nervous because I was handed over a large amount of money for a van that I hadn’t seen for myself but I can guarantee that they were fair, honest, reliable AND my van is exactly what I had wished for and I bought it, sitting at home, and it arrived safe and sound on the day that they promised.
