Aptive Pest Control is great
Aptive Pest Control is great. We have been using them for a decade and never have had problem or a bug! Inside and out they do a great job. Dylan was out this week and was friendly, professional, knowledgeable and terrific!

Top notch service
Top notch service. I've been with them for almost 3 years! JT was my last technician and he did a phenomenal job! The only thing that I wish was different is the ability to schedule a set time for arrival versus a range. I have a demanding job and it's hard to be there for them to treat the inside of my home. It's been over 6 months since the inside was treated.

It's important to compare services
I had Aptive Pro pest control services for 12 months, ending 3/25/26. Service technicians notified me of their arrival time typically about 30 min in advance, we're thorough, friendly, professional and asked if I wanted any particular issues addressed. On one occasion when I scheduled a visit between regularly scheduled visit the tech never showed nor re-contacted me to say we'd need to reschedule.
Overall, I thought their work was very good, but it did not particulary stand out from a different pest control company I found by doing some research. We moved to a new home after 7mo with Aptive and I found a comparable pest control company who also used granular pesticides on the lawn as well as quarterly perimeter sprays, brush spider nests down, sprayed inside on request, and put down sticky insect/rodent cards /boxes as needed. I was able to negotiate with this company to reduce their monthly charge to half what I was paying Aptive and also with a 12 mo contract. Also, they offered to pay the $199 penalty if I broke my 24mo contract with Aptive. In response to my asking Aptive for an invoice for that pay out, I was pleased that they offered and I accepted instead a significant reduction in my monthly charge, which I paid until that house was sold. Then, I paid the penalty and submitted the invoice to my other company.
I think Aptive should reconsider their 24 month contract and even lowering their monthly fees. Techs from both companies (per my observations) typically spent about 20 min (or a little more or less) during their visits. Overall Aptive does good work but I feel it is important for consumers shop around.

We had 2 problems we had spiders in the…
We had 2 problems we had spiders in the garage and hornets in the yard we believed they were coming from some bushes. He explained if they have flowers on them then he could not spray them. He was very knowledgeable and listened to our concerns to come up with a solution.

After calling to cancel my DEAD…
After calling to cancel my DEAD sister-in-law’s monthly service, they proceeded to charge us the following month. We sold the house! They refused to give us a confirmation email that we canceled and said we could not cancel because it was under the contract; however, the contract states that you can cancel if the owner dies! She died and we sold her house…you idiots!!!
