Aptive is a scam. Don't fall for it

Save your time and money and just go with a reputable company like Terminix. This was a disaster. The service people were nice, but that was the only good experience. On more than one occasion we received a text that our house had been "serviced." Unfortunately for Aptive, I work from home staring out my back window all day and no one showed up. The pictures sent were clearly from a different day, because it was cloudy, not sunny, and identical to the pictures they sent a couple months before. I mean at least try right? We were then roped into a two year termite service contract (still not convinced they didn't bring their own termites in a jar, a current coworker used to work at another pest company and said some companies do this). I would mention the price but frankly I'm embarrassed. They installed everything, were supposed to come every 6 months, but never showed up again. Of course we continued to pay the monthly dues. Finally when the contract was up (didn't want to pay the $500 cancellation fee) we were told exactly what day to call and cancel. We called and confirmed cancellation. Shocker, we were charged again the next month. Called back and the person said "you were talking to the wrong department and it was 3 days too early to cancel." So we cancelled again and asked for a refund. The guy said he would try and would call us back in 24 hours. Been 4 business days and have not heard back. Side note, this is the first time I have ever left a review for ANYTHING online. Honestly I am only leaving the review to save people the trouble, and hope someone reaches out to give us the refund we deserve (and confirm our plan is cancelled because at this point I am expecting another payment to come out)

We got the RIGHT MAN for the job…

Active really pulled through when they sent technician Jonathan to treat my yard and my home. A very thoughtful, kind and adequately people-skilled person. There's alot to be said about who they send out to do your property. Jonathan was very thorough and knowledgeable. Can't say enough how pleased we were with his services. These exterminating companies basically all use very similar technology and products to treat our homes. It just really makes a difference on how when where and why they apply the right products to get the job done...correctly. Hats off to Jonathan. Job well done.

Patio Life With Aptive

Bryan gave me his ETA so I would have time to gather my pets inside. He came to the front door and we were able to chat about concerns with certain pests I’d encountered. Bryan seemed very knowledgeable, and reassured me he’d take care of the wasp swarming around the underneath side of the deck. He was very understanding when I pointed out an
established bird nest on the upper ledge of my entry arch , and how he planned to work around it to protect the birds. Bryan documented every area he treated by sending me pictures of the area and of the product he used respectively. I was not that excited about a 7:15 pm appointment time, but it worked out well in the end. Thank you Bryan, thank you Aptive.

If you have a problem, Aptive has the solution

I cannot say enough good things about Aptive and its employees. We live in an area with a lot of woods, and we had problems with mice, ants, you name it - we had them crawling around our home and garage. A young man knocked on our door one day, told us about Aptive and all those problems disappeared. All employees are smart, friendly and they tell you what they are going to do to get rid of the problem, and they do. I always look forward to an Aptive treatment. Aptiv is a 10+ on a scale of 1-10.

Doing Well

Doing Well! Very pleased with their service and they are always very courteous. They always meet my needs and concerns. Not everytime, but they normally send me photos of what they have done outside my home and I do miss that when they don't. I do recommend them.

The staff is great and provide good…

The staff is great and provide good details about the service that they provide. The challenge is not covering pests that cause problems. Refusing to clear a bird's nest in the name of not covering it is one of them.

Aptive Service at home

Hello, I normally receive a text letting me know Aptive will be at my home in the approximated time (ie 30 minutes) and if I have any areas of concern I would like addressed. I didn't receive this and I did have an area of concern of ants on the outside of my home, which it didn't seem this was treated, as it's still a problem and is worse now.

I appreciate the pictures sent.
