Far View Lodge bar
Far View - Lodge in MesaVerde park has the best bartender I’ve ever met. David, took orders for food, & served the bar while putting up with our group of 37 people in our group as well as other guests. He was so patient, pleasant & efficient. I don’t know how he did it. He deserves a raise!

This company is affiliated with Honest Jobs. I applied here in Colorado for a bar back position. But because of a misdemeanor charge about a month ago they said they couldn't offer me employment? It has been my only charge I've received in the 48yrs I've been alive. This company is a waste of time and should be taken off Honest Jobs. I am going to reach out to Honest Jobs customer service and report this Aramark company. Like others I'd give no stars if could. Supposed to be a fair chance employer.
Aramark at the University of Michigan Hospital
At the University of Michigan Health/Hospital, Aramark employees can sit of food prep/service counter. Then turn around and serve and prep food on the same counter without cleaning. In calling Aramark employee could careless.

If I could leave zero stars I would. This has got to be the sleaziest company i have ever dealt with. Don't sign a contract with them for your linen or uniform services unless you plan on inspecting every invoice with a fine tooth comb. They will increase your prices at random and put a note on you invoice in the smallest font possible that there's been an increase to your services. your contract will say they can do this and that you have 14 days to reject the increase but because you're trying to run a business and have 50 thousand other things to deal with you aren't looking at all the fine print on your invoices and then next thing you know the contract pricing you signed 2 years ago has increased 125%. Just shady, sleazy practices.

Absolutely the worst Uniform Company I have ever had the displeasure of working with in my 40 plus years in the automotive industry. We are under contract for them to provide services they refuse to provide and yet bill us for each and every week. Now they insist on fighting the contract instead of ackowleding their failure to provide the service we are paying to receive. Run far and fast from their corrupt way of doing business.
Update: 06-24-24 Now the GM has emailed me to threaten legal action on our company. Wow, they owe us money and refuse to provide the services we are charged and all we are trying to get is what is owed to us and get out of the contract becuae they can't provide service. Unbelievable company, I guess that explains the (F) rating from the Better Business Bureau.
Disability Discriminated against.
Applied as conference and events host at Alton Towers Conference Centre. Literally just left same job title, was told it’s the same job and I was ideal for the position. Went through all duties with manager Jack Degg, absolutely No mention of bar work in interview. Advised them of learning disability so not able to use tills. Also asked to only work until 10pm because of journey home as job description said “flexible hours” was told working till midnight was mandatory. Had to do various food courses and challenge 25 course before start.
Aramark induction was awfully depressing, small room at back of canteen. Nothing to big you up working at Alton towers, Unnecessary as everything mentioned in the room was on the modules we had to complete before getting there. Manual handling section was completely rushed through, almost overlooked. Used name on contracts even though they were told to use a different name, took share to change, absolutely no regard to a persons individuality, beliefs and preferences. Then heard nothing for couple of weeks.
Emailed out of the blue saying I’d missed shifts, wasn’t aware of actually starting as I’d had no start date, no email, no texts, nothing. Hadn’t even had complete uniform. Queried the courses I’d had to take and was told bar work was mandatory for all staff. Explained again about learning disability and wasn’t able to work tills. Had no reply just taken off system and job employment terminated. Job title on contract was events and conference host, actual job title on workjam app was food and beverage worker. Not what I’d applied for.
Treated unfairly due to disability. Absolutely no value or regard for staff.
Soggy hot dog at Legoland windsor
Had hot dog at Legoland windsor, hot dog was very expensive for sausage which was lukewarm with soggy bread which was barely edible. Merlin need to replace this supplier as everyone was complaining
Quite possibly the worst catering company ever.
Quite possibly the worst food company on the planet. They took over the catering of many UK theme parks 3 years ago. Since then the choice has halved (including the removal of almost all options for those with allergies) Portion sizes have become miniscule. The quality has reached rock bottom (A dried out husk of chicken slapped in a stale, flavourless bun with almost no sauce. Yum.)
To top it all off is the extorionate prices. When they took over in 2021 you could get a burger meal for £8. Now, just 3 years later it's £14.95 for a meal half the size and less than half the quality.
I would personally like to ask Aramark to get the hell out of our country, and take your ludicrously low quality produce with you. We don't want it.
criminal price increases
Although the delivery driver was good, the price of the service went up 26.58% in a little over 4 months. They stated that the contract says that they can raise the price as little as 5% but there is no limit at to how much they can increase it. I guess that they can raise it 1,000,000 percent
Extremely short staffed
Extremely short staffed. Aramark pays the absolute minimum legal requirement yet demands exemplary effort.
I would NEVER want any of my children to work for Aramark.
After the school year ends, I won't be returning.
Disappointing Employment Experience
I worked for Aramark with high expectations, but the reality fell far short. The company made grand promises during the hiring process, only to consistently fall short on delivering. Communication was a constant issue, and it felt like promises were made just to manipulate employees.
When seeking help, the response was disappointing, with a lack of genuine concern for employees. It's disheartening to feel like just a number rather than a valued team member. My time with Aramark was the worst professional experience I've had, and I feel compelled to share this to help others avoid a similar situation.

They give free food to the staff at the place I work they like best, I'm standing next to someone as hes being given free food/paying for one meal and receiving 3, as I'm of course paying full price as everyone should, not just staff who they don't favoritise.
I know another colleague who they give every item of food or drink to for free, the amount of money they're costing their company is disgusting and it's obviously not fair on everyone else.

This company does not even need on 1star worst ever!! do not use Aramark !!! I paid my bill on time for months and months canceled them and they bill for 5,000.00 of stuff I never received! After messaging calling and emailing they would never call me back just turned it over to collections! So do not use Aramark!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Some effort?
Aramark has shown again and again and again that their biggest priority when catering for people is how to save money. Food gets reheated multiple times which I am not even sure is legal. They hire lowest wage personnel with no drive or motivation and then expect them to perform. Even when personnel asked and offered to improve their service they were denied, at least on my rig, by the camp boss. I would never ever recommend this company as, like I said, they only care how to cut the money.
My rig is catered by them and on multiple occasions we were left without drinking water as camp boss is lame to order more often just to save money.
I would rate less then 1 star but sadly it is not possible.

Absolute disaster
Absolute disaster. Waiting nearly 3 months to get paid for work we did last June. I been calling them every 2 weeks recently to be assured that I’ll be paid in another 2 weeks time. Also told that nobody in the company can manually put payment through! BS!!
Horrible Company to Work With
I wish I could rate them 0 stars. They are a terrible company to work with, they have provided us with damaged and sub par unifroms and equipment. They're pricing is ridiculous. They set you in at a low price and then give a price increase every 2 months. In 6 months we saw a 98% increase. And they lock you into this insane contract that is impossible to get out of. Even if you prove to them that they breached it they just ask you "what your going to do about it?" They basically say if you want to end this Lawyer up. They know that they will lose but they'll drag it out for years so you either don't try or you give up.
Worst company I have ever worked with. Do not go into business with them. You will regret it.

Terrible... worked with them for a year and a half. No care for small business at all. Outside of the horrible on hold music, and you need to call every couple of weeks and be on hold JUST TO PAY!! You cannot pay from you online account (which is absurd)! Getting any help or anything done was like entering a black hole. I had to call three times over months just to install the auto pay, so I didn't have to wait on hold all of the time. They could not get that set into motion. Scary as this is someone taking your payment info over and over! We had an account manager that was non-existent except to tell us that we couldn't order any more coffee machines as our practice grew. She was also grossly unconnected and acted like she didn't know what was going on with our company even though her colleagues told me they spoke to her personally and explained it to her. I had to call multiple times, over a month and a half, and had multiple claim numbers to order one item with zero contact from her/them. Zero! I had to always be the one to reach back out. All of there products are on Amazon for much less. After complaining, I received an email that stated that our issue was resolved and I was spoken to personally. I never spoke to this account exec, ever! Liar trying to save her job, I assume. They removed my machines in a day and I replaced them with a local business that had me machines the next morning. Pass and keep searching. I have no idea how these people have a business at all.

Had them for service at my restaurant. They would constantly short us on towels and carpets but charge us for the shorted items. Suddenly they stopped showing up and sent us a breach of contract for $13,000. Have been going back and forth with them for three months now they want $5,000 to terminate a contract they stopped showing up for. They have mangers holding two different positions so when you complain you complain to the same person. This company is a joke and needs to take a serious look into the people working for them. They are bullies who just want to take advantage of you stay away.
Horrible customer service
Horrible customer service, they charge you but never show up!! Then when you try to report it, nothing gets done or changes. But you can't cancel without paying thousands of dollars!!
