Fun but dissapointed due to translation mistakes (in dutch).
The concept of Arkiv is very fun, great for a friends/family (theme) night.
I bought the cult case for a suprise night for me and my roommates. I even bought props, lighted fancy candles etc. to give the night a real 'murder mystery' vibe.
I got the package sent to a friends house to not get my roommates suspicious. The packaging was incognito except for the sender information, which isn't giving away much unless you google it. The package took 2 or 3 workdays to arrive.
The company sells these cases in different languages, I bought one in dutch. I was suprised and a bit dissapointed by the amount of translating mistakes. This really felt unprofessional. On some places some pretty important pieces of information were translated wrong (example: Someone's name.) Luckily we did figure out whose name it should've been.
Even on the website you use when doing the case there was a very important translation mistake that just felt lazy.
This is why I don't feel like it was worth my money.
But besides the amount of translation mistakes it is a good product. It is very fulfilling to connect the dots in your mind and come to new insights, there is enough content to go over and search through. Very good details aswell.
I don't know how well it is translated for other countries, but if there aren't any translating mistakes I would say: Go for it! It is really fun.
