Dodgy checkout experience. On Thursday 10/9/25 I decided to buy their 7 ton log splitter. At checkout I was offered the usual 'ways to pay' and on seeing Paypal I opted for that method. I followed the link provided by Arrows website and subsequently finalised payment.
I received no acknowledgement of the order but since I had used the 3 payments systems at Paypal I thought I should sit back and wait for it, and then delivery.
By Monday 15th I checked my bank account and I had a payment of £146.65 to Paypal pending. I then contacted Arrows via their on-line chat and explained the situation. I found this experience a total waste of time, the excuse the order 'never when through' I was looking for a way forward, their reply buy it again, I point out this issue arises for your checkout, they eventually just stopped.
I contacted Paypal who assured me that the monies were back in my account and that the order for the log splitter had been cancelled on the 10th. (not by me)
Customer service at Arrows is poor and very unhelpful and I surprised given the amount of 1 star reviews on the aspect that Trust Pilot gloss over it.

Order received promptly but a cable had become damaged in transit - they provided a replacement cable the following day which was a Saturday. Used the machine all weekend and it is very impressive - a very satisfied customer.

Great delivery service. Great price. Guard and box was cosmetically damaged.
The stand for the splitter had all fixing bolts missing. Luckily I had enough gear in my workshop.
Log splitter seems good quality.

Bought a manual log splitter on the advice of Adam and it’s perfect for what I need. Easy to set up and it does the job so easily. From placing the order to it being delivered was under 24 hrs - can’t ask for better than that. I had a couple of questions and Megan in the office dealt with them in a very professional and friendly manner. A great company to deal with and Zi will recommend to all my friends and family.

Delivery of product was effectively delivered in a timely manner.

Easy to install

FedEx was meant to deliver (they confirmed with an email) on Fri morning. I had chosen Arrows for next day delivery as I needed the log splitter for the weekend. Nothing happened and when I called Fedex they were just rude. I phoned Arrows who said they would look into it and call me back. They didn’t. The same happened on Monday. Arrows asked if I wanted a call or email. I said email and then they called me while I was in an important meeting. Still nothing. It finally arrived on Tuesday after I had asked to talk to a manager at Arrows. Not a surprise that yet again I’ve heard nothing!

Good price, great product and good communication when the courier (DPD) didn't deliver on the stated day.

The FM10 7ton log splitter is a pretty impressive bit of kit, As a pensioner I was finding the splitting task with a maul a little tiresome. This splitter is easy to use and has handled everything I’ve thrown at it , in this first week so early days I’ve got 3 tons of heavy birch split and stacked.

The webshop was good. The transport company Fedex/PostNord did not deliver home. I have to take me to a delivery point.

Rarely do you experience customer service at this level. Every one of the team were fantastic, from order to delivery. We had a glitch with their delivery partner and they resolved it for me in minutes. Brilliant team, brilliant service!

Good quality and perfect fit in my VW Golf. Arrived within 5 days of ordering it.
