I have been doing business with Art Brokerage and HT for over 3 years now and all my transactions with her are amazing! Always great communication with the team! I highly recommend HT and the Art Brokerage Team!

I am writing as an experienced art buyer as well as a past art broker of 25+ years. Art Brokerage completely ripped me off with exorbitant shipping fees after taking a high deposit for shipping saying I would be refunded for any overage I paid. After my purchase was accepted I was told (all communication in writing) from my consultant that I would be charged $125 estimated shipping and, after the art ships, I would be credited back for the overage amount. After I received the art and asked about my shipping cost and refund, I was THEN told that Art Brokerage charged a minimum $100 shipping fee! This was never stated in any of my previous communications. When I asked about my $25 refund, the $100 minimum amount suddenly became higher. I was informed that the new minimum ship fee was now $125, the EXACT amount I paid. FYI, the painting (12 in. x 16 in. unframed) shipped was small and light, arriving in a small box with bubble wrap on top and a cardboard egg crate shape on the bottom, shipped Ground UPS. Bottom line, they handled this most unprofessionally and I wouldn't do business with them again. It's not about the money, it's about the lack of honesty and poor communication. If Art Brokerage can mislead about shipping fees how could I ever trust them to be honest about artworks?

While seeing some negative reviews here, from a Buyer perspective you won't find a better place! Everyone I've worked with since about 2019 showed great experience and knowledge of the market, the artist in question, and the painting or other artwork itself. They even have someone who worked for Peter Max in New York previously - hard to beat as it comes to expertise!
Pricing is fair if you compare to any other of the art sales portals, or eBay etc., and you know exactly what you have to pay before finalizing the deal - no hidden fees. Deliveries are insured, and signature required to avoid porch pirates! I will continue to buy my art from ArtBrokerage.com!

I’d give 4.5 stars if I could. The process was smooth. Robbie the broker was in touch and informative when I received an offer. Payment was 3-4 days. Relatively painless. The pain was my art was listed for about 6 months. I dropped my price twice and the offer I received was somewhat of a lowball but I just wanted to sell. Don’t know I should blame artbrokerage for the slow sale or lower price than expected so still giving 5 stars. The listings aren’t exclusive so if you can sell it elsewhere for more go ahead but I see this as a low risk option.

Awful experience! We sold a price of art and never received payment. It got damaged during transport and Art Brokerage kept the insurance money. I’m out art and money. Total scam

Art Brokerage is the go-to platform for secondary market art transactions. They are knowledgeable and informative, reflective of the true values in the marketplace.

Love this company. I have been selling my art with them for years. Last week I sold another piece. They are excellent and really making the high end art sales experience easy and secure. I highly recommend them.

Just sold another piece through Art Brokerage. My experience was great. My broker Jennifer, made the sale and shipping easy for me. I have sold about 20 original artworks and several prints through this site, and I have never had an issue. The sales are straight forward, secure and after the client approves, I am paid promptly. I look forward to working with Art Brokerage again.

leonard did a very bad job the whole team they lied to me a couple of times they were not answering the phone after I'm calling.... so these people are not the best to work with ...they have no Integrity ...they do not care about you as a seller or buyer after the purchase...

Which I was very disappointed in myself that I was working with them even here on the reviews I can see that I was not the only one who was getting disappointed yeah maybe you can avoid this forever for yourself do yourself a favor and just leave this company as soon as you can otherwise you will always experience a very bad time.

Art brokerage try’s to talk you into lowering your price to as close to zero as they can then add 1000 to 1200 to every piece they never lower their price. They are cons and bad business they actually insult the artist to get you to lower your price

SCAM ALERT!!!!

I consigned and spoke mainly with LEONARD PANAR who told me to ship the artwork to his gaven address.

After I did, they sold the work and never answered my emails!!!!

Today I realized they even shut down my account on their platform so no one else can see the communication!

Since I read so many positive reviews, I got very disappointed. Will seek for LAWYER, since I can't image what happened here.

Overpriced. Whatever you want to buy there, just look anywhere else and thank me later.

Also the stuff is too incompetent and less caring about your works.

I would avoid this platform, I wish I had read the reviews before I started to deal with them.
even at the point of discussing listing an art piece, they have a very strange way of talking to potential clients. i.e insulting you and trying to make you feel inaproproate. I have chosen not to list with them, and i would advise people do their homework before listing with this unprofessional company

Run away! from these pirates.
I sold a Painting by Peter Max. The customer received it damaged the frame blamed me yet it was fine when exported. I was forced to pay her $1000 USD eventhough she damaged the frame. I tried posting other paintings but Art brokerage kept making lame excuses and never read my replies. I tried to delete my account no delete button on account. There's something fishy going on. Take your biz elsewhere not worth the hassle.

I love Art Brokerage. I have sold through them for a few years now. The sales are smooth and payment is also made quickly. For me they are a win win company to work with.

Don’t buy. As a former art student and now newbie to the art-buying world, I’m learning quickly where the real art people are. These are not them. They are not friendly, kind; their communication skills are limited to invoices and acceptances of offers. I don’t think they know better, though. I genuinely think they lack people-skills. For them, art is about nothing but money, leaving no room for passion and personality. Just stay away. Everything is grossly overpriced, anyway.

I have purchased many works through the Art Brokerage site and have never been disappointed. So speaking as a buyer, I think quite highly of the organization.

Horrible, horrible place to sell (legitimate) art. They pose as experts, and push you to list high, in case they get a “bite”.

Though the latter rarely happens (due to their complete void of any online marketing expertise), a buyer does turn up invariably.

At which time they negotiate without any transparency, expecting you to accept offers 1/5 of original ask—while they walk away with the (undisclosed) difference—all under the guise that you accepted a minimum offer amount upon originally listing.

So not coincidentally, when an offer is presented, it’s the minimum. This way they can take (actually “steal” is more appropriate) a larger share without lifting a finger.

They do not respnd to seller’s inquiries or requests once listed, except to respond to rare emails re: a potential sale thereafter, so they can fleece you. NO INTEGRITY.
