The absolute best customer service
The absolute best customer service. I appreciate the customer service being local (within the USA); this makes me feel safe and sound. Anytime I call, there is always someone willing to go the extra mile and happy to assist. The cost of insurance and coverage is fair.

Lots of miscommunication during…
Lots of miscommunication during renewal.
I have regular coverage for my esthetics practice and AMI coverage for my tattoo business. Since they are two companies and each branch covers different things they don't speak to each other very well. I get notices from ASCP about lack of payment for AMI. When I click on the link, it shows that I have already paid. When I send proof of payment to ASCP, I hear nothing back. It's extremely frustrating. There needs to be changes in the future. Also, ASCP does monthly payments and it auto renews AMI does quarterly payments and does not auto renew.

Hi Belrenda, thank you for the detailed feedback, and we're sorry for the frustration this caused. You're right that standard ASCP membership and AMI currently operate on different systems and billing cycles based on when you signed up.
We're actively working on improving payment timing and communication between the two so this kind of mismatch doesn't keep happening. I enrolled in the insurance around June…
I enrolled in the insurance around June 14 or 15th, and I still have not received my certificate or any other information. I've called two times for them to send it out again they keep saying they've sent it out and I still have not received the information so it really does put a bad taste in my mouth.

Your Certificate of Insurance (COI) is available online at any time through your account, so you can access and download it whenever you need it. Physical copies sent by mail can take up to two weeks to arrive.
We truly appreciate your membership and understand how important it is to have your insurance documentation readily available. We apologize for any confusion or inconvenience. Getting ASCP was a no-brainer
I have been using ASCP ever since I became an esthetician in 2012. I had been using ABMP since a massage student in 2008 with no issues at all, so using ASCP was a no-brainer. The process to get insured is very easy and every person that I have spoken to has been very patient and professional. Will continue to use ASCP!

I’ve had a great experience with ASCP. Their team has been professional, responsive, and willing to take the time to carefully review questions rather than giving quick, generic answers.
