Bathroom Leak

Having just finished using the services of Aspray, that spanned a year, I cannot recommend them enough. I was unaware that a Loss Assessor existed until I was introduced to Bill Maynard, who took all the hassle that comes with insurance claims out of my hands.
I did not have to chase up my insurer, negotiate a settlement or wait on hold for ages listening to recorded messages! All my discussions were with Bill, who is a superb communicator. He explained things simply and answered any questions that arose. Progress reports were emailed to me weekly. He visited my home when the loss adjuster viewed the repairs to be made. He appointed an excellent building firm to do the work and visited at the various stages of the rebuild. I was happy to give him full marks when it came to signing off the project.
Should I be unfortunate to make a claim in the future, Bill will be the first person I call!

Outstanding & exceptional service

My father diagnosed with dementia unfortunately experienced a burst water pipe in the loft causing a major flood affecting the main bathroom, hallway, kitchen & 2 bedrooms! His home was uninhabitable!
I undertook managing the insurance claim on my fathers behalf & spent the first couple of months on daily multiple phone calls trying to co-ordinate the process, however with a very poor & unsatisfactory outcome! It was an absolute nightmare!
Until thankfully, I was introduced to George Masterton at Aspray & everything changed from the worse situation to the best.
From our first meeting he showed such empathy, compassion & kindness in the sad & traumatic situation we found ourselves, outstanding professionalism, competence & expertise. I was reassured our insurance claim was in the best hands possible.
George Masterton worked with excellence on our behalf, co-ordinating & facilitating the entire process from drying out to reinstatement of the property.
George kept in regular contact with updates. Always available. He went above & beyond our expectations. He is one in a million.
The contractor/ builder & tradesmen George appointed & worked alongside equally provided a first class service.
We received an outstanding & exceptional service from George Masterton & I would highly recommend him & Aspray services to everyone I meet.
George Masterton will forever be my Superhero because he came into our life when it was utter devastation & despair & he helped to turn it around & created a beautiful & safe home for my beloved father to return.

Building Insurance Claim - LEAK

I had a significant leak underneath my kitchen and bathroom floor that had been there for many months without my knowledge.

Kylie’s expertise shone through immediately and continued to do so throughout the process. The initial suggested remedial actions fell far below what should have been done and, had I not had Kylie’s help, I would have been left with a half finished kitchen and bathroom that I no doubt would have been ripping out again in the near future at my own expense.

Once a proper schedule of works was agreed, her team of contractors commenced with the work. They were all professional, polite and competent. Particular thanks to the STORK Renovate team who completed the majority of the works to a superb standard.

Kylie dedicated hours in negotiations with the insurance company, time that I did not have to spare myself. She ensured that no unnecessary time was lost and that my kitchen and bathroom were replaced to the highest standard.

I cannot recommend Kylie at Aspray highly enough.

Insurance claim owing to major flood

What can I say we had issues with the insurance company regarding a major flood at our home George marsterson was appointed to deal with the claim and through hard work and perseverance he managed to come to a settlement and get our kitchen and home back
Our new kitchen is beautiful all the decor spot on George and his team worked tirelessly to accomplish this and I would recommend George and this company to anybody having the same problems ten out of ten
Thankyou George and to your team of tradesman for a wonderful job

Excellent all round service , Aspray were very professional and sympathetic to our needs, and went the extra mile to help us. Service was beyond our expectations.

Tracy was professional, knowledgeable, and responsive throughout the entire process. Great service!

Great service!
George handled our insurance claim when we had an under floor leak. He took care of everything and made sure everything at our home sorted and made good.
He was always on hand, day or night to help with any questions or updates.
Would highly recommend Aspray as an efficient and professional company.

Fantastic company who support and cared when we needed help

We were very lucky to have been told about the work Aspray do, and managed to get them to assist us with our significant flood in our house on the day we moved in. George Masterton couldn’t have done more for us and supported us from the start until completion, ensuring we understood and knew all options and possibilities along the way.
I honestly can’t imagine what we would have done without his support and knowledge in a field which everyday people know little about.

I’d highly recommend Aspray and regularly tell people what they do and how they looked after us. We owe George a massive debt for his help, it’s clearly not just a job and his caring professional help was refreshing. I wish everyone was as dedicated and compassionate whilst putting the client 1st.

Belvoir Dunstable used Aspray a few


Belvoir Dunstable used Aspray a few years ago on a previous insurance claim so when one of the properties we manage was flooded by a water tank that burst in.the apartment above I knew that I needed the assistance of Aspray again as it was going to be a long drawn out claim.
I recommended to the landlord to contract Aspray to take over the claim and once this was done Bill Bill Maynard from Aspray Luton handled the whole claim, agreeing works with the Insurance company, instructing contractors to carry out the work and agreeing all finishes including a new kitchen with the Landlord.
I wouldn't hesitate to use Aspray and Bill Maynard again and would recommend them to anyone making a similar insurance claim.

Very unprofessional service

5 stars for the contractors used by Aspray, however the management of my claim was very unsatisfactory. Lack of communication, unprofessional tone of voice, lack consideration for my needs regarding alternative accommodation and agreeing access dates to return to my home. Very stressful due to lack of management skills by the loss assessor.

Good experience with Aspray

Good experience overall with Aspary. They help us navigate through the complexity of an insurance claim and helped us to get our bathroom repaired and back in service as swiftly as possible after a leak caused extensive damage. Would use them again.

Outstanding Service and Professionalism

From start to finish Roy was exceptional. His customer service and explanation of the process was 110%. Throughout the claim he was reassuring and kept me involved in every step. An expert organisation with outstanding knowledge of how the claim needs to be managed. The contractors provided were also skilled professionals leaving my home tidy and clean at the end of the job. Would use again in a heartbeat. Thank you Aspray!

Very happy, don't know why you wouldn't use Aspray!

George Masterton could not have been better managing my claim. My insurance dragged their feet and tried not to cover the full claim, but George calmly sorted it all out without me having to do a thing. My insurance eventually came round to his initial assessment of the work and he got it all done very professionally and to a very high standard.

I honestly don't know why you wouldn't let Aspray handle your claim for you after this experience. Thank you George!

Bill Maynard is brilliant

Bill Maynard is brilliant. I contacted six Loss Assessors and he was the only one who was prepared to take on the insurance company.
He told me what to expect and we discussed what and hows.
I can only praise him and Aspray's and if you need to use the services of a Loss Assessor then I would highly recommend him.

Delighted with the swift resolution to my insurance claim

I asked Mark Fetcher at Aspray to assist me with a claim with a high street chain who had installed a new washing machine - only to have it flood my utility room the very next day. Mark undertook all of the work to contact the retailer, provide them with the information regarding the damage caused by the flood along with the quotes for the repair work. Everything was completed to my satisfaction within a matter of weeks. I am delighted with the outcome and all it took from me was one telephone call! Thank you.

A relief to find that Asprey exists to help me navigate insurers

Not having much experience of having to deal with insurers, I was very relieved to find that Asprey existed to help me navigate things. I was also very relieved that Jimmy, the Assessor appointed to me, took the time and effort to understand my needs so well. He kept me informed regularly and did a really good job of co-ordinating the contractors and getting them to move pretty speedily on my behalf, as well as keeping my letting agent in the loop. He also went above and beyond to help me with my dealings with the council, which was a real Godsend. Nothing seemed like too much trouble, and given how busy I am, it was a relief to deal with someone who cares about what they do, gets on with it, and does it swiftly. Asprey customer service was good and responsive too.

Bill Maynard - Aspray.com Legend!

I honestly don’t know how I would have coped with Bill Maynard from Aspray.com. My insurance claim was for a minor escape of water from a plinth heater located in my kitchen. The first we knew about it was when the threshold expanded and we couldn’t close the door. By this point water had soaked the whole kitchen floor under the lino and also leaked under the carpet in the hallway.
I had heard of aspray.com via my perks and work website and decided to look into this instead of dealing with the claim myself. I knew I would find it stressful and with working full time I felt I needed support. The proposition seemed simple and straightforward, aspray.com deal with all aspects of the claim and then they do the work. They make money by having good tradespeople who give them a beneficial rate and therefore enabling them to take a ‘cut’ of the claim. This is not at any cost to the customer. Alternatively, aspray.com take 10% of the final cash settlement.
My colleagues and friends thought it sounded too good to be true. Oh how wrong they were. I mentioned it was a straightforward and minor claim. Well it took almost a year to get a suitable cash settlement. At this point I want to name and shame my insurance company and the loss adjuster they use. Rias or parent company Ageas made every part of the claim process an absolute nightmare. Sedgwick the loss adjuster were absolutely useless and downright incompetent throughout.
Thankfully I didn’t have to deal with any of it unless I chose to. It was poor Bill Maynard from aspray.com stuck on hold for in excess of 1hr 45mins every time he phoned Sedgwick. Emails he sent were ignored, forcing him to call. He was also the one who met the loss adjuster at my home to discuss the claim. All seemed positive when they agreed with Bill’s ‘scope of works’. The quote for doing the work came in at around £9000. Sedgwicks and the insurance company offered £900!
Bill Maynard supported me through the process of rejecting this offer. Another period of ineptitude from Sedgwicks ensued and it was several months before a revised off was provided. This time for around £3500. I made a complaint to Ageas at this point and it was upheld. I was given £150 compensation which I rejected. I then received compensation of £300 and a promise that the final settlement would be reviewed.
Throughout all this Bill Maynard was always available and replied to all emails or texts within 24hrs. In fact on occasions he replied immediately. I felt I had a positive and honest relationship with him and he gave me good advice when I was considering taking the claim to the Ombudsman. Had I chosen to Bill indicated he was happy to provide evidence and support.
Sedgwick made their final offer of £5500. I can honestly say that without Bill and aspray.com it is highly likely that I would have settled for significantly less. I would not have understood the extent of the damage or the true cost to put it right. I would probably have settled at 50% of what I got. The knowledge, skills and support from Bill enabled me to get as good and fair settlement as possible.
I opted to take a cash settlement and put it towards a new kitchen. I happily paid the 10% fee to Bill, he was worth every penny. Part of me actually feels guilty because he was probably worth more.
I would highly recommend anyone considering using aspray.com to do so. Yes you may incur a 10% fee but the chances are the final settlement will be higher and offset the fee easily. Also the peace of mind and no stress are very good reasons too. It will also save you a whole bunch of time sat on hold for hours on end.

Terrible experience. AVOID

Terrible experience do not use avoid with all costs. Starting from poor workmanship a wet room unfit to use a floor which has been un leveled /supported correctly my stone hallway is moving around hazards to my pets potentially poisoning my dogs with chemicals left to leak over my garden decking then also sharp edges of cut tiles left around causing risk when we had to call the company back for an entire extra week than was originally scheduled all they had tried to do was say it is an old house these things can happen while working in a 20-35 year old extension when my son challenged what was being said by the "professionals" he was abused repeatedly then to top it all I have an email with discriminatory comments made about my son assuming his disability?! Asprey is claiming to give vetted workmen not a single item has not had to be fixed several times or worse in fact can not be fixed must be fully replaced again! Avoidance was the main tactic used to try justify the company's lack of qualified experienced employees which is why we are left in this mess
