Finally, finally Niamh, I’ve found an “agent,” that understands a buyer from abroad needs so much more than, “an agent!”
I love the suite of services your company provides and even more, I love the fact that your property details are comprehensive and not just “three CGI photos and a square metre number!” From now on, I will only use you to find our property!
I’m going out now, but will look at the options in more detail later today. In the meantime, thanks for being the first property business in the Alps that knows what they are doing and what potential buyers want to see! 👍👏👏👏

Zero stars. We signed up with Athena for a new build apartment in Chatel, France in 2014. The promises about the experience were most promising with delivery due by 31/12/16. Here we are in March 2023 with no property. Athena are "no longer involved" apparently and have washed their hands of everything. An utter nightmare.

Really communicative, attentive and always willing to assist my throughout the entire buying process. Not sure what I would have done without them!!

I purchased my apartment in Lisbon through Athena Advisers and Athena Advisers has been managing the long-term rental agreement of my property nicely. Marta and her team were very helpful not only in identifying good tenant, but also in resolving any issues between tenant and myself. During recent check-out inspection, unusual damage was found in the window area. Marta professionally raised the issue to me and tenant. She finally arranged an expert's visit( after many many calls), got a budget quotation and communicated well to both party. In the end, the damage was fixed and all the parties involved were satisfied. I thanks Marta and her team for their prompt, sincere and unbiased attitude.

I had the most pleasant experience with Athena Advisers and most particularly with Marta Salgado. She supported all the way until the purchase of the apartment of my dreams in Lisboa. I strongly recommend Athena advisers.

I found Athena Advisers online when researching for short term rental properties. Marta she showed me a beautiful flat in Chiado April 2021, with all the amenities I wanted in residence. She was very nice, professional, and knowledgeable.

I hear people talking about their challenging experiences here in Lisbon, but I've been grateful not to have that experience with Athena Advisers. When Marta says she'll do something, she gets the job done. I moved into 2 different, modern, and beautiful beautiful short terms in April-June 2021 before I signed on for a long term in September 2021. The process was very easy considering we were negotiating on different time zones and continents.

We originally contacted Athena because we wanted to couple a property purchase in Portugal with a Golden Visa application and had seen their advertisement in the press which seemed to us to offer the client-oriented approach that we wanted, indeed needed, given that we had no clue about how to set about things.

Athena were excellent from the start, keen to understand what it was we wanted and happy to guide us. They knew a lot themselves, especially about property, but when expert professional advice on law or tax were needed they introduced us to equally helpful and charming people with the right knowledge and experience.

Athena are probably the best agency and property firm I've experienced in Portugal. They're miles ahead of the curve and their competitors. Their properties are really nice and never had any problems. Marta who works there is incredibly helpful and knowledgeable and gets it. If you're looking for a rental then you must go with these guys and get Marta to help you.
