It is the dream of any athlete to be able to go to the USA. Right out of high school, I didn't feel ready to fly halfway around the world to play for an American college. Many of my friends had already done it for golf right out of high school. In my second year of college I had the good fortune to meet Veronica Zorzi and Giulia Sergas at a competition sponsored by their Road to USA organization and they introduced me to the possibility of taking this route as soon as I graduated. I didn't know it was possible because I didn't know anyone who had left to pursue a Master's degree. They introduced me to Francesco and from there it all started in a very rapid crescendo! Within a few months I met coaches and universities from all over the United States, from Florida to Michigan, from Arkansas to Texas, virtually visiting different campuses and indoor golf facilities that I had never seen here in Italy! Extraordinary opportunities that have brought me even closer to this extraordinary sport that I will finally be able to practice at the same time as a new post-graduate university project. Athlete USA helped me finding a school for my freshman year, sophomore year and junior year. They helped me with paperwork which was really helpful and they follow their athletes towards their successes.
