atlas capture are exploiting africans with high workload and poor pay, I just spend 2 hours to do quality work and made 0.4 dollars. I am going to repost this to ILO and US Department of Labour. Good luck Atlas

Atlascapture is a modern-day human slavery.
Ample load of work unmatched or closed to payment... ratio of 80% sweat with 20% pay.
Team Leaders manipulating and threatening members who speak up or question them about their activities.
Delaying and denying some payment.
Overall, using mind games over their worker... punishing them wrongly when one questions his unpaid work.
Staff abusing human power because they're above.

The updated guideline was acceptable; however, the company did not increase the payment amount. Employees who express their opinions risk being banned or suspended.

In terms of been organized, for me atlas is very organized

While I appreciate that the company employs a diverse, global workforce without prejudice, the effort-to-reward ratio is simply too low. I held out hope that things would improve, but instead, the difficulty of the tasks was significantly increased without any corresponding bump in pay. Furthermore, there is a frustrating disconnect between the auditors and the general leads/trainers. Because auditors are frequently out of sync with the latest guidelines, they unfairly penalize labelers, which directly reduces our earnings. Adding to this, promised bonuses were never paid out. Unfortunately, due to these ongoing issues with fair compensation and internal communication, I have to give a 1-star rating.

ATLAS THE HUMAN EXPLOITATION MACHINE!

I worked for atlas for about 6 months. I joined when they were paying per hourly rate. Then they changed to fixed rates per videos you work on. Atlas is developing a mixed reputation fast. I do want to clarify on one thing though, Atlas is a legit platform that pays if you've done quality work. I have been paid a total of about $150 in about 2 months. Atlas will ban you if you do work that doesn't meet quality. Trust me, you'll always get suspended for not doing quality work. Here's why:

Atlas has so many and I many so many rules you must follow when labelling a video. If you actually applied all the rules to label a single 1;45 minute video, it would take you 30 - 45 minutes. Am not kidding about this. I one time found myself spending 55 minutes labelling a video. Okay we can all agree that spending a lot of time to meet quality over quantity isn't a bad thing right? Well the issue here is that you all your effort, blood and sweat you put into quality, you'll end up earning $0.38 - $0.45 IF YOU'RE TIER 3. Now imagine having to spend all that precious time of yours labelling one video for $0.45, when will you be able to make a decent amount of money? Let me remind you that you need a minimum of $21 to get paid. The site says $20 but trust me, I have worked here for a while and people who worked hard and made it to $20 were not PAID. Only those above the $21 threshold.

Atlas, if you want good quality, then you should improve okay. Listen, I wouldn't mind spending an hour to ensure I met quality work if one video paid $5. But you expect us to spend all that time for $0.45? I call this HUMAN EXPLOITATION. Atlas Capture damn right knows how long it would take for someone to accurately label a 1:42 minute video for the average human but they choose exploitation regardless.

Atlas has a training program you must complete before beginning work. In that training a video demonstration on how you are supposed to label the video. Now the video they use for training is NOTHING near to what you'll be labelling in a sense that what they use is so EASY. The videos you are given to work on are crazy. You'll find a video where someone does like 10 different actions in the span of about 4 seconds. You are supposed to label all those actions that happened in 4 seconds. And the worst part is, the EGO(person doing the task) most of the time use tools you aren't familiar with. Tools you don't even know how to start describing. Atlas doesn't allow you to say, "Pick up tool, fix machine with tool" Now if you're not specialized in the work that the EGO does, you wouldn't know the name of the tool. So you spend a few minutes searching for that tool. Listen, from my experience and expertise with atlas, you as a labeler will get burned out in your first 3 hours.

Doing so much work for little pay is called HUMAN EXPLOITATION. Atlas capture will EXPLOITE and EXHAUST you, and when you can't keep up with all the guidelines(trust me you won't unless you're not human) they ban you.

All that being said, if you truly worked your ass off, atlas will indeed PAY YOU. It might take a few days though. If atlas shows payout on 7 of the Month, expect to be paid on 11th of the month.

Am not here because I'm mad I got banned. Am grateful. I got free from those chuckles. The sweet relief I felt when I got banned is so ironic.

I am just like you. I understand your burdens and pain. I understand how dedicated you are to put in the work and effort. Trust me, I've been there. But all I want you to take away from this is that ATLAS CAPTURE IS A HUMAN EXPLOIT. THEY MOSTLY TARGET CONTINENTS LIKE AFRICA AND ASIA BECAUSE THEY KNOW PEOPLE ARE DESPARATE. NO AMERICAN OR EUROPEAN IN THEIR RIGHT SENSES WOULD WORK FOR SUCH A COMPANY. WE SHOULD RAISE OUR VOICES TO END THESE ENDLESS CYCLES OF HUMAN EXPLOITATION.

ATLAS CAPTURE, IF YOU WANT QUALITY WORK, THEN PAY THE PEOPLE WHO PUT IN THEIR SWEAT, BLOOD AND EFFORT, A FAIR AMOUNT THE ACCOUNTS FOR THEIR TIME INVESTMENT.

On May 19, 2026, my account was suddenly paused. I did what any worker would do and submitted a support ticket to ask why my account had been paused and what I needed to do to fix the issue.

Instead of receiving an explanation or guidance, my account was later permanently suspended. I was not given a clear warning or opportunity to address the issue before the ban.

What made the situation even more frustrating is that I was also removed from the Atlas Capture Discord server, which cut off one of the few ways to communicate with the team. At that point, email support became my only option, but despite sending multiple emails, I received little or no meaningful response.

My payment dashboard shows:

Total Paid: $107.78

Unpaid Earnings: $108.34

Lifetime Earnings: $216.12

The platform states that earnings completed in good faith will still be paid even after suspension. However, I am still waiting for confirmation and payment of the outstanding balance.

After I posted a negative review on Trustpilot, Atlas Capture responded publicly and asked me to contact them through Reddit modmail or Discord. The problem is that I had already been removed from Discord, and my previous email attempts had gone unanswered.

At this stage, I am not asking for my account to be restored. I simply want payment for the work I completed and clear communication regarding my account.

I'm posting this because workers deserve transparency. If anyone else has experienced account pauses, suspensions, missing payments, lack of support responses, or removal from communication channels, please share your experience.

They try, to be honest. But they still have a lot to work on.

To be honest I think Atlas capture is a spaming site for this reasons number 1 they give alot of work and then they suspend your account without paying you out, by the way this has happened to me I worked on more than 100 episodes then made $80 the they suspended my account for no apparent reason, I just woke up one morning and my account was gone without any explanation or a chance to defend my account. Another reason is they don't have clear communication channels, for instance when they suspended my account I was removed from the discord server and when I tried emailing them I did not recieve any feedback as to why they suspended my account. today I expected to be paid for the work that I put my blood and sweat to but I think I will not be paid either way because they dont care... and I think they are mostly doing this on Africans only... anyways I hope someone will helppeople like me to get the justice we deserve.... to be honest I worked hard to get that money so that I could take care of my parents but now I see I just wasted my time.

Update on my payment status
to just understand that Atlas capture is a scam they replied here claiming that The will pay me, but they have not paid me because they know I don't have ways to reach them, first of all they can't reply to my emails, their Modmail does not work and they removed me from discord so I cant reach them, so lets say I was wrong like they replied then why would they not pay me and why is there no way to communicate to them?

Whenever you are in atlas capture, do good work, follow guidelines and community policies. They pay everyone with perfect work

How do someone ask a question in the ticket server on discord, they don't answer, they delete your message and proceed to ban you from the server without saying a word to you? Is this how a "so called" reputable company should behave? Inconsistent guidelines everyday and they ban accounts operating on old guidelines of the previous day. The team comprises a set of confused people to be honest. Also, it's obvious there's favoritism play.. there's no balance in the order of things they do.. Some people from a particular geographical location are placed in convenient positions and most times, each of them has more than one position at once whereas we have other people from other part of the world that are as good but apparently aren't considered. This is a sham company in my opinion.

I worked diligently for Atlas Capture and followed all their guidelines carefully. Despite maintaining a 95% quality score, my account was permanently suspended without any clear explanation, and I was not paid the $198 I had earned over more than a month of hard work.

When I reached out to ask why my account was suspended, I was only told that “the decision has been made,” without any further clarification. It’s deeply disappointing and unfair to feel taken advantage of after putting in so much effort and dedication.

I’m truly hurt by this experience, but I believe justice ultimately belongs to God. I hope Atlas Capture treats its workers more fairly and transparently in the future.

The company does not pay.....on pay day they ban 90 percent of accounts, i can say they are real bunch of conmen.

this company has a very stupid and nonsensical support especially one called Julz, very rude staff, difficult working here. poor work ethics, won't pay you.

I worked on tasks for Atlas Capture during two payout periods:

Apr 16–30, 2026: $12.72
May 1–15, 2026: $12.46

According to their published payment terms, balances below $20 should roll over to the next pay period. My total balance became $25.18, so I expected payment after the May 1–15 cycle.

However, support later told me that this was only my “total balance” and not necessarily eligible for the cutoff period, without any evidence to support their claim.

The issue is not only the delayed payment, but also the lack of transparency in the payout rules. The published terms gave me the impression that cumulative earnings above $20 would qualify for payout, but support responses suggested otherwise.

Another issue is the very low pay rate per task. The platform structure also seems to encourage some labelers to rush and spam tasks just to maximize quantity. Meanwhile, auditors are expected to review, flag incorrect work, and provide corrections for spammed or low-quality submissions while receiving the same type of low compensation. This creates frustration for workers who actually try to maintain quality.

Overall, I found the compensation too low for the amount of effort required, and the payout system was not transparent enough for me to feel comfortable continuing on the platform. Based on my experience, I personally would not recommend joining unless the company improves payment clarity and worker compensation.

it is a great site , simple tasks and always pay for work done

Atlas is great I love their support team they’re up and doing, supporting and very helpful the only issues I had was the hd videos and they worked on it please we no longer want hd videos

Atlas is the best platform, pays on time and pays well

From the payment to the task activity, to customers support, to daily training/workshop are top tier

they even have support that guide you while you work and they are doing amazingly well, this is by far the best, amazing thing out there, no location restrictions, meaning even people from Africa can work with them

finally a means to work from home with no hassle as long as you follow their rules

I have joined atlas capture for 2 weeks now, they are reliable. I would rate them high
