An Unforgettable Trip to Italy!

Our trip to Italy was everything I hoped for and more! The Amalfi Coast is absolutely spectacular, and Christian did a wonderful job guiding us to the perfect locations and hotels. Every hotel was amazing, and we were fortunate enough to receive upgrades at each one! I especially appreciated Christian letting the hotels know that this was a special birthday celebration and making sure all my food preferences were accommodated.

And the food! I think I could have swum home after enjoying all the fresh seafood delicacies I devoured. In fact, a couple of times I even asked for octopus or squid for dessert! 😂

Our driver, Salvatore, and his wife were wonderful—always punctual, helpful, and a pleasure to be around. The hotel staff were incredibly friendly, especially Antonio at the front desk of Le Sirenuse. Our boat excursions were spectacular, and the lunches along the way were so much fun.

We loved our hotel locations, and Christian truly steered us in the right direction! The shuttle service at J.K. Place was especially convenient for getting into town. Shopping in Capri was a highlight, and the restaurant Christian recommended was perfect for our rendezvous with friends from California.

Our Pompeii tour guide was excellent, taking us off the beaten path and giving us a memorable experience. Afterward, Salvatore was waiting to take us for pizza before we checked into the Grand Hotel Vesuvio. That hotel was adequate for a one-night stay before our departure, although it wouldn’t be my first choice for a return visit. Getting through Naples Airport was quite an experience, too, so I was very glad we allowed three hours before departure!

A couple of honest notes for future travelers: I wouldn’t recommend the massages at Caruso or J.K. Place, although the spa at Le Sirenuse was lovely, and the massages there were excellent—definitely worthwhile. I was also underwhelmed by Zass, despite its Michelin star. Fortunately, all our other dining experiences were wonderful!

As I’ve told Christian, my favorite kind of day is hiking boots in the morning and heels by night! He understood exactly the kind of experience I wanted and helped make this trip such a special celebration.

Thank you, Christian, for your thoughtful planning, wonderful recommendations, and attention to all the little details that made such a difference. We came home with beautiful memories, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Christian to anyone planning a special trip to Italy!

Both Mandapa and NIHI Sumba were incredible, and the staff at both properties were so genuinely warm, caring, and wonderful with our family. Every experience felt so thoughtfully planned, and we could truly relax and enjoy our time together knowing everything had been taken care of.

What means the most to us is that these trips are so much more than just vacations. They are moments we get to share as a family, memories we get to create with our children, and experiences we will talk about and cherish for the rest of our lives. That is something you really can’t put a price on.

Carl, you’ve been such an important part of creating these memories for our family over the years, and I hope you know how much that means to us. Your passion, dedication, and genuine desire to make every trip amazing really shine through in everything you do. We never take that for granted.

This was my 3rd trip using Atlas Indeed. Carl has been easy to work with and truly listens to our preferred choices. I have been traveling internationally for decades doing all the planning myself. Atlas Indeed has found opportunities I would not have located on my own. Having English speaking drivers and guides pre-planned has made travel stress free.

We recently returned from a trip to Ecuador and the Galápagos Islands. This was the third trip that Christian and Atlas Indeed had planned for us. We are a family of five with the kids ages varying from early teens to young adults. When I first consulted with Christian I explained that we wanted an itinerary with activities for all to enjoy and time and again he exceeded our expectations.
Our vacations have each been planned to the finest detail: daily activities from canyoneering, cycling, river rafting, snorkelling and guided tours through old towns and museums to a private cooking lesson with an amazing chef in Quito after visiting a local market with our guide to buy the ingredients.
The hotels and resorts we have stayed were exquisite: well located for our activities or exploring the city, wonderful restaurants… handpicked!
The guides are all experienced, passionate about their field and very personable. After each holiday we feel like we are saying goodbye to a “new family friend”.
Every time I asked Christian to plan a holiday he gets back to me with an itinerary that is original, but at the same having taken into account our preferences and requests. Having asked to include a fishing trip on our holiday to Croatia, without mentioning it again that was planned for our trip a year later in Ecuador.
When your adult children can’t wait for the next family trip, you know this is so worth it.

Great Experience – Highly Recommend! I recently worked with Christian and team for a last-minute family trip to Italy, and they were fantastic to work with.
