All items we buy are tested before purchase and only once they pass our set guidelines, they are bought and sold ahead. Looks like the fault occurred on a later date or else we wouldn't have purchased the item in the first place.

Absolutely Ripped Off: Crushed Cases, Undisclosed Second-hand, and Bogus Shipping Charges!

What an absolute disaster of a purchase. My experience was nothing short of infuriating.

First, there was zero disclosure on the website that the game cartridges were used. I was completely blindsided when I opened the package—receiving pre-owned games without any warning is just dishonest.

Second, the condition of these "used" cartridges was appalling. They arrived in nothing but a flimsy paper envelope! Unsurprisingly, both game cases had holes punched straight through them from being crushed in transit. Using such irresponsible packaging for fragile plastic cases shows a total lack of care.

But the worst part? The shipping scam. The website advertises free shipping for orders over 50 AUD. My total was well above that threshold, yet I was still charged two separate shipping fees—4 AUD each, totaling 8 AUD. So not only did I pay extra for shipping unnecessarily, but I also received two destroyed cases and zero accountability.

Absolutely unacceptable. I will never shop here again.

Regarding our shipping policy, a $4.00 delivery charge applies to each individual item priced at less than $50.00. This means that if your order contains multiple items below $50.00, each of those items will incur a separate $4.00 delivery charge. However, items priced at $50.00 or more qualify for free delivery, and no delivery charge will be applied to those specific items.

Fine so long as your standards are low.

If you don't need to contact customer service then you should be fine but heaven help if you do.

I've ordered from CeX twice now (6 months apart) and both times I've needed to follow up with their customer service contacts because of either wrong item or the inability to process a cancellation which resulted in me being charged double.

Never again.

We have quality standards in place where items are checked before dispatch to ensure they are correct as per the order, but it seems this was overlooked in your case.

In case the order is already dispatched, it can be returned to us as unwanted within 8 days of delivery using our FREE postal service for a full refund to the original payment method.

PC Game Lord of the rings you have no protection for the products…

PC Game Lord of the Rings You have no protection for the products you sell
I have had to return the same game twice because it is damaged and will not play on the PC.
To improve the service you should have them checked and tested before sale to avoid customer disappointment with the product.
I have cancelled my game and had my money returned the staff are wonderful and in store service is good but product poor.

The GPU came packed well though it did…

The GPU came packed well though it did have a damaged fan and a damaged fan bearing on the second spot ( had spare GPU fans laying around so It was easily replaced) just a bit of a shame needing to do that in the first place otherwise would be 5 star

Photo's of device received quickly.

asked for photo's of the actual item i wanted to purchase. Within 24 hours they were in my inbox.

They sent it quickly after purchase.

The only issue I had was with Aus post which is out of CEX control. They were slow, unreliable, and their delivery attempt was trash.

I would reccomend CEX look at a courier service or other method for items over a certian value.

Cex sold me a great camera…

Cex sold me a great Sony Alpha camera for a reasonable price. It arrived very quickly so I went back and bought a lense from them also. Both work great. I am happy to give a testimonial to Cex. An excellent company.
