I recently sold a flat via the auction house and I had never sold a property before, but after nearly a year on the open market, a friend recommended Simon, having used the auction house herself. I had no idea what I was doing, but Simon and Alex were patient and explained everything, more than once, until it made sense.

There were some genuinely difficult moments along the way, including a point where the property hadn't received a single bid at auction. Alex and Simon reassured me not to give up, told me they'd get it sold, and kept offering other ideas to try. I also had a challenging situation with a difficult leaseholder over the shared garden, and Simon gave me advice and support to help me through that too.
What really stood out was Simon's integrity. There were a couple of ridiculous offers along the way, and it would have been easy for him to just say "let's take it" and collect his commission , but he didn't. He encouraged us to hold out, and we did, for a much better offer.

This was a bittersweet situation for me, given my sentimental attachment to the property, but Simon and Alex made it so much more bearable. Looking back, there's nothing else they could have done to make the process any easier for me. I'm so grateful to my friend for introducing me to Simon, and to Simon and Alex for the gentle care and attention they gave me throughout.

I am very pleased with Auction House with selling an investment property in Norwich. I didn't want the property sat empty for 6-9-12 months with slow processes in Conveyancing and chains, the house costs me over £1000 per month so I choose to sell at Auction. Abbie Willett and the auctioneer Bryan Baxter got it sold, they do so in a tight timescale & I will have funds in my account 7 weeks after it was 1st advertised. I first contacted mark 2 yrs ago who was trying to help my aunt to get a value on her home after ill health to see about selling to enable her to look for something better suited to her he was absolutely the right chap was a wealth of information and advice although she decided not to sell I kept marks details and 2 yrs later on the sad passing of my aunt and my inheritance of said property he was the first person I contacted I have never bought or sold a home before and he took all the pressure of me and talked me through every step of the way even recommended a solicitor I can’t think of way to praise mark enough was always honest polite professional and kind advised me of a guide price and I fully took on board his advice and came up with what he agreed was sensible reserve , auction house was the right fit for me there dedicated to working there best to achieve a sale for you and the marketing of the property was done very well via there website social media and the glossy catalogue I would highly recommend auction house as a viable way to sell your property for a quick trusted trouble free sale I realy appreciate the service I received and mark especially he was great
